Welcome to our cozy escape nestled in the midst of lush greenery and breathtaking water views! Whether you are planning a getaway vacation or looking to explore Acadia National Park, you will find plenty to do and see nearby. Nestled on a 2 acre lot, your vacation rental has a shared dock for fishing, swimming and kayaking. There is a firepit and gas grill available as well.
When you want to explore, downtown Ellsworth is 5 minutes away and Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are both less than 30 miles away...
Unwind on the sectional in the sunlit living area or make dinner in the well appointed kitchen with ample counter space and a table for two.
This apartment sleeps 2 guests, with the primary bedroom having a king size bed.
Take the kayaks out on the water and enjoy the blissful days. Then, sit and relax in the evenings around the fire pit and watch the sunset.
Complimentary WiFi, life jackets and washer/dryer is provided There is a window air conditioning unit in the main living space.
Parking is available for 1-2 vehicles.

Good communication with the host, pretty setting, convenient location for our fall trip to the Maine Coast. This is a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a house with an upstairs unit. The open layout of the living room, dining room and kitchen suited us well, especially the large kitchen area. The bathroom and bedroom were fine. The whole place was very clean and we had everything we needed during our three-night stay. It is a pretty setting on the shore of a lake, quiet and private but only two miles from downtown Ellsworth. The location was convenient to places we visited, Blue Hill Peninsula, Acadia National Park, and drives on scenic byways.

The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor! It was such a treat to come back from a long day of hiking at Acadia, to make a nice fire in the backyard, and enjoy the beautiful nighttime sky!

Bucket list trip for my husband and I to Acadia National Park. Extremely cozy apartment with a spectacular view! Visiting from Ohio so not used to restaurants closing 6-8pm so that would have been good for a heads up.

We would absolutely rate this property as a 5 star due to the beautiful setting that feels remote but is close to stores, restaurants, etc, the cleanliness and how well stocked it is. However, we had one incident that really made us feel unwelcome. You see, we arrived 30 minutes before check-in. Yes, it was stated they could not do early check-ins, but the reason was to allow time to turn over the property to make sure it is ready for the next guest. When we arrived, we did not see anyone around. The place had obviously been cleaned. However, at 5 minutes before the designated check-in time, a guy came around with a weedeater. My husband waved at him and opened the patio door. The man came up, looked at his watch and said, "You're a little early, aren't you?" My husband explained and the man shook his head and walked off. Apparently the man resides in the upstairs apartment. We aren't sure if he is the owner or not. This made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable the rest of our stay.

Amazing place! Centrally located that allows for access to many places and activities. Turkeys, Whitetail deer and Bald eagles right from the front door! The kayaking on the lake was a great bonus. The apartment was clean, quiet and spacious with laundry! Highly recommend

This property was great for our time in Acadia and is perfect for 2 people! It was away from the crowds yet close enough to easily get to the park. We loved being on the lake, the kayaks and being able to spend time fishing! Saw lots of wildlife from the dock and while fishing which was amazing! Would love to come back in the future and would definitely stay here again!

House was perfect for a couples getaway. Location was not far from activities, but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Wonderful property -- we were very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. We had a great time kayaking around the very peaceful lake, which we did 3 times over the course of our stay. We also did a daily drive into different parts of Acadia National Park on most days. The property was close to Ellsworth, which made finding places to eat very easy. Speaking of eating, we enjoyed picking the in-season blackberries from the bushes surrounding the yard. We had a very nice time here.

communication was great, lovely view of the lake, great kayaking the lake & river up tobrapids. Enjoyed swimming below the rapids. Easy dock to get in and out of kayaks, kitchen is well stocked, onlyb20 minutes to Acadia with an early start, 6am, all parking lots open. Wonderful place to be a couple & relax or play.

Beautiful view. The home was very clean had lots of pots and pans for cooking. Plenty of towels. The host also gave us great recommendations. We had a great time. It’s 35 minutes to Acadia National Park.

We were originally looking for a place closer to (or in) Bar Harbor. Because of the time of year, the options were more limited, prices were higher, and we also read about the number of tourists in the area. So, we expanded our search and found this property. It was perfect and we loved it here. The hosts have done a great job. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed. It's a short drive to the island and other attractions in the area, and it's located in a very quiet area. We even took advantage of the kayaks and went out onto the lake for a few hours one morning. We would definitely consider staying here again if we are ever in the area.

Peaceful convenience

We had a lovely peaceful stay. Gorgeous views, great to kayak straight out onto the lake. Ellsworth is a gorgeous small town with lots of art, beer and quirky shops. Convenient for Acadia National Park which is a ‘must visit’. The accommodation was clean, well kept and had great amenities.If you want a relaxed vibe this is for you. Ps you will need transport.

Comfortable stay!

This place fit all of our needs. Nice view ofbthe water, comfy king bed, full kitchen. A minor inconvenience with the TV was the lack of the standard broadcast channels, so I missed an NBA playoff game, but Netflix was easy to log on and use. Great place to stay if you are visiting Acadia/Bar Harbor. Oh, and you MUST visit Momo's Cheesecake store! Delicious desserts, all on the honor system!

4 day base visit

Stayed here so we could be both close to acadia and near friends in orono and still be flexible. Convenient as intended and Ellsworth is a cute town with good eats and drinks. Peaceful location with everything we needed.

Peaceful Maine getaway, great for couples

We really enjoyed our stay in this rental. Everything was clean, the King size bed was very comfortable. Great to have your coffee in the yard each morning, listen to the birds, and watch the activity on the lake. Hosts quick to respond to questions. Really appreciated having a washer/dryer available so we did not have to go home w/ smelly running and hiking clothes! Gas station and small market are nearby for any quick grocery runs you might need to do. Easy drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia Natl. Park. You will hear some noise from the upstairs apartment if people are home, but we didn't find it bothersome. Overall a pleasant stay and we would come back!

A comfortable stay

We loved staying here at this cozy waterfront property. It was spacious and with a functional kitchen which was a plus! The location, although a bit away from Acadia, offered an escape from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor. The surroundings are serene with a lake just upfront. Overall a good experience. Just be prepared to check out on the dot at 10.00AM to make way for the cleaners.

We love the peace and quiet of our little place on the water. The location is a perfect mix of being close to Ellsworth, with shopping and dining, but in a serene lakefront that makes you forget the hustle of world around you.

We want your stay to be comfortable and pleasant. We have all the amenities you could need in a vacation rental. We have plenty of cookware, utensils, and kitchen items in addition to a full sized washer and dryer, TV with Firestick, and king sized bed. The unit comes with an A/C plenty of windows, and all appliances. Additionally, you have your own grill, kayaks and firepit for lounging in the evening or going for spin around the lake.
