Tucked away just a block from the bay and roughly 1 block to the ocean. The entry patio deck has a table for four and a brand new BBQ grill for cooking. Inside you will find a fully stocked kitchen and bar seating for 4. The unit is equipped with a stackable washer and dryer and full bathroom. The Master bedroom has a queen bed, and there is also a sleeper futon in the living room. Plus this unit come with one small parking spot in the garage! (Compact car parking only!!!)

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Manhattan Shores 1A and would definitely come back. We loved how everything was new and remodeled and really enjoyed the private patio. The beach was only 2 houses away. We loved the location and would definitely come back.

Everything was great, only issues we ran in to were that I didn't read the note regarding the size of the garage and also when I had requested an early check in, we never received a response. Other than that, it was clean and a fun dtay

The apartment was ideal. 100 yards from both the Mission Bay estuary and the ocean beaches. I Highly recommend it. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived and while it is small, it is perfect for 2 people and maybe a small child or two. The private deck with a BBQ is ideal for evenings. There is no AC, but plenty of fans are provided, and we found these more than adequate. The garage is small, but will easily take a Hyundai Elantra or similar. Like everywhere in Mission Bay (and most of San Diego), the streets are tight, so not ideal for large vehicle, but if you have a large truck, like I do, I found it easy to get overnight parking on El Carmel. Not ideal, but it works. All in all, we had a lovely time, were very comfortable, and only really left the area to visit family of do a grocery run.

Great location! Really fun!

Everything was great! Perfect for me and two kids. We had a blast. Easy to get to. Lots of places to walk to. We had a blast!

Great little hideaway!

Overall it was just right for our week long stay. And secure for toddlers. Located over the garages so no need to worry about stomping children waking neighbors! There were a few things that could use a bit of attention. The blinds over the windows have seen better days for sure, and really light, so when the sun is up you know. We also didn't know that the washer and dryer are in the unit. There is a door that seems to be locked (later found out you have to really pull on it to open) and we were told that there is a shared laundry. After walking around the building a few times not finding anything we hit a landrymat... A sign would be a huge benefit for anyone else. One big thing was there are no beach towels so bring your own.. kinda odd in a beach town. The patio is great, but would greatly benefit with an umbrella for the table. There is a spot for one, and the Cali sun heats up in the afternoon.. so lunch on the patio isn't possible without shade... but everything else was there. The unit is a lil tricky to find, but offers privacy. You are a house away from Mission blvd so there is some noise on a bustling day, but you do get a sneak peek at the ocean from the deck.. The garage is quite small, but had some toys, a couple chairs and beach umbrella. We spent most of our time at the beach anyway. Overall a great place. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The place was clean, and close to everything!

Always enjoy staying in Mission Beach; I recommend this cute little place to anyone who likes to relax by the water! My only complaint is that the stairwell is extremely dark, and I fell down the last two steps when departing; I couldn't see due to no lighting!

Perfect for a week with kids

This place was perfect. We stayed as a family with two adults and two kids and the size was just right. The kitchen was nice to cook food and the patio with the grill was a bonus. Was close to everything as we did not need to drive very much during the week we were there. The place was very clean and the views were outstanding. Only negative with this place is the blinds were outdated and old. They definitely need to be replaced. The garage was small and we had a mid size SUV that barely fit and we made it work. The process for checking in and out was very easy. I highly recommend this place for a beach getaway.

Just right!

I would give this place a 98% rating! Everything was great. Right of Mission Blvd right next to the each. A garage that was able to keep my car locked away as we used beach cruisers to get around. Only things to change is the cleaning process. The fans had some dust on them that fell when turned on, and the window blinds needed some attention. I will be back here next summer for two weeks, that is a guarantee.
