Welcome to our stunning luxury 7-bedroom cottage (including guest cabin) which is on a point of land facing southwest on beautiful Lake Manitouwabing. We have 400 feet of private waterfront, a lovely beach and the rental includes a fishing boat, kayak, canoes, a SUP, and a pedal boat. We have just added a lakeside Sauna.

Our 4750 sq ft log home has 10" pine log siding both inside and out, 7 bedrooms including a guest cabin, and 5 bathrooms. The interior has cathedral ceilings, 2 natural wood fireplaces +2 electric fireplaces in the master bedrooms on both floors, a magnificent screen porch, hardwood floors, and a wrap-around deck with outdoor patio and dining set. In addition we have an outdoor ping pong table and Foosball in the Muskoka Room. The cottage is fully equipped with nothing spared-Just bring your food!

We are 15 minutes east of Parry Sound which is a bustling town on the shores of Georgian Bay, where there are shops, cafes, restaurants, movies, and attractions. We are also a short boat or car ride from the Ridge at Manitou and exceptional Golf Club and Dining Room. It is a perfect getaway for up to 14 people and only a two and a half-hour drive from Toronto. Families return year after year, so only a few times are available in our high season.

Great Vacation for the Whole Family (no matter the age)

Beautiful home with everything a large family could ask for...the little ones played on the beach and swam, while the others would fish from the many docks or boat/canoe/paddle boat. We were also able to get in a few games of volleyball and ping pong. All of the views were perfect to wake up to. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Wow!

This property is incredible! Exactly as shown in pictures but is so much better when you are there in person to experience it. We had 6 couples and we all had our own room and private space. Beds were very comfortable. Everything is extremely clean. We will be back for sure!

Wow, Wow, Wow!

This was the most fantastic location I have ever stayed in. It was perfect in so many ways. So spacious and clean, everything you needed was provided. The view to the lake is unreal and the stars at night just added to the ambience. It was really great for the family, as there was a small beach for the little kids to play at, 3 separate docks to sit at. So many things to have fun as a family! We celebrated my dad's 70th and we had a group of family from 2 years old to 70 years old and it was so beautiful and memorable. Morley was fantastic with any questions we had and I really can't wait until we can go back again.

Quiet & Cozy

We celebrated Christmas and rang in 2022 with our family. Everyone had so much fun walking and enjoying the local winter wildlife (squirrels, birds & pack of wild turkeys). We brought some hockey sticks as the lake was frozen and we cleared a spot just in front of the dock where we passed the puck around. Really enjoyed the wood burning fire places and the foseball table. We all did not want our stay to end. :-) Communication with the owners was quick and they were able to help with any questions we had. Beautiful property for a quiet, fun family getaway.

Amazing cottage and property!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Log Escape cottage! Morley was a wonderful host who provided excellent communication. This cottage has everything you could possible want - a fantastic cook’s kitchen, great outdoor spaces and beautiful screened room that was great for those drizzly days. We would most definitely rent here again!

Excellent choice

Our family loved this property. The communication with the owners was fantastic, the property exceeded everyone's expectations and they had a great time. The facilities are excellent; wonderful sunset views, cook's kitchen, comfy beds and hot showers. Highly reccommend.

What a beautiful place!

Place was fantastically located on a nice lake. It was very clean, spacious, had anything and everything you could think of from multiple coffee machines to kayaks and a fishing boat! Would definitely recommend staying here!

A Truly Wonderful Retreat

Our family of 14 had a glorious family reunion weekend here the weekend of September 13 - 15. The photographs of the McKeller Luxury Log Retreat do not do justice to how beautiful this property is inside and out. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. Despite it was bit of windy, we had a magical evening around the fire in the Muskoka room. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone and look forward to bringing our family together again this this truly lovely, and well appointment home. The hosts think of everything and were a dream to work with.

A perfect and beautiful spot for our family weekend. Everything is set up and ready for you, we also left a Kindle there and they emailed to say they’d found it. Will stay again!
