Other things to note:
★ To ensure your comfort upon arrival, we provide a starter kit containing essential items such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. Nearby shops offer additional supplies for the duration of your stay.
★ Please be aware that the hot tub and pool require approximately 6 hours to heat up. Depending on the timing of property cleaning, they may not be at optimal temperature upon your arrival.
★ Due to its rural setting, cell phone reception may occasionally be limited.
★ Please note that RV or trailer parking is not available.
★ Due to our close proximity to the National Park, we have a large population of insects including ladybugs, house flies, stink bugs, millipedes, carpenter bees, and wasps. Although all of our properties are sprayed regularly by a professional pest control company, the city and park areas are not. During various times of the year, these insects may find their way into the property. By booking you understand that is a possibility during your stay and understand that there will be no refunds related to bugs getting into the property. We will be happy to work with you to get pest control back out if necessary.

We would highly recommend this rental for anyone hoping to stay close to Pigeon Forge attractions. The location cannot be beat, as you are within 5 - 10 minutes of some of the best locations for families. During our stay, we experienced a few issues. We weren't issued a code for the door entry ahead of time and the one we were issued didn't work- however, the host, Janice quickly was able to respond to get us into the home fast and efficiently. The main issue we experienced during our stay is that the A/C became inoperable the day before we arrived. Janice had portable A/C units installed on the main floor and basement to help cool off the unit; but my hope, as a renter, would've been that we would've been notified of this ahead of time. During the first 2 nights of our stay- the top floor reached 81 degrees. Janice did have a maintenance tech come out the night we complained and we were frustrated that it took us to mention this to the host group before they mentioned it to us. The next day, an HVAC company came to the unit (day 3 of our stay) and were able to cool the unit to reasonable temperatures. The other issues I would mention that were a bit frustrating were: the hot tub did not reach over 75 degrees. Maybe it is meant to be a 'cooler tub' given the outdoor temps? The pool, which is mentioned as 'heated' in the property listing is not heated. The room for the pool itself is very humid; but the pool water is very cold for children.

Thank you Tiffany for staying with us and enjoying our home. Prior to Tiffany’s arrival, we were made aware that one of the HVAC systems was not cooling as effectively as it should. Although the upstairs HVAC system was working properly and the system remained operational, we had already scheduled an HVAC technician and proactively placed portable A/C units throughout the home before Tiffany’s check-in to help keep her comfortable during the stay. When Tiffany reported additional concerns, our HVAC technician and maintenance team responded immediately. With daytime temperatures nearing 100°F, the second floor naturally became warmer as heat rises, although it cooled down overnight. The indoor pool is heated and professionally maintained at approximately 83–84°F, and the hot tub is functioning properly but only needed to be switched from Economy Mode to Standard Mode, as outlined in the guest guidebook. Had we been contacted during the day, we would have been happy to assist with that setting. We take great pride in our home and are committed to responding quickly to any concerns so our guests can enjoy the best possible stay.

We had a great stay at Jay's Haven in Pigeon Forge.Once we received the door code (via email 2 days prior to stay) it was quite easy getting into the house. The kitchen was well appointed. The freezer made plenty of ice for a summer stay. King beds worked out great and the kids loved the queen beds in the "game room". The lock to the pool room was a little tricky but we finally got it. The bedrooms were a little tight but we could make it work for a week. In the bedroom on the main floor we put our suitcases in the closet and our clothes on the stand beneath the TV. This location is INCREDIBLY CLOSE to so many attractions!!!

Excellent Customer Service

The communication with the property manager was superb and very timely. Whatever the request, an answer and response came quickly. The property is nice and was as described and is a very easy drive to the center of everything. The beds were large and comfortable, the children enjoyed the pool and game room, and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor patios.There were some aspects that would be nice for renters to know: (1) There is only one area that does not involve climbing a lots of stairs: the living/dining/kitchen area and one king-sided bedroom. (2) The property has no accessible yard at all, so your dog needs to be walked along the street, and there is sparse green area. (2) There is limited space for storage of clothing and luggage, with some rooms better than others. (3) There is no “public” bathroom in the living area, so you need to either climb stairs or use the one bedroom’s bathroom by going through the bedroom. (4) It seems to be fairly new construction, so there are still things that need some refining, e.g., one of the bathrooms upstairs has no place to hang a towel and some of the flooring needs to be fixed. The management is excellent, however; so if you ask for anything, they are very amenable and fix it right away.

Everything was amazing. The only suggestion I would make is that since the house ultimately can sleep 14 which means family reunions and lots of food and snacks, the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cooking pans/pots, and EVERYTHING you need however it did not leave a lot of storage for food/snacks that you may bring.

Cabin was true to pictures, we enjoyed our long weekend stay. We were all very comfortable, and the indoor pool was a Hugh success with the grandkids. Host replied very quickly, cabin was clean, kitchen had everything you would need. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
