We are a short distance from Florida and accessible by land and sea. Fort Lauderdale, Florida provides both fast ferry service and a overnight Celebrity cruise line services or you can reach us by air with various airlines that provide air service to the Grand Bahama island.

We provide a spacious luxurious and modern Villa at affordable rates for persons wishing to enjoy a relaxing, retreat outside of the typical and costly hotel experience.

This spacious Villa is completely renovated and maintained to the highest standards with property manager nearby to provide assistance.

Home of the UNEXSO, Underwater Explorers Society, is a dolphin research facility where you can swim and interact with the dolphins. The Island offers other Eco-adventures like kayaking, hiking through remote mangroves to view birds and marine life, reef and cave diving, para-sailing and horseback riding on the beaches, among many others....

Wonderful Bahama Escape

The property was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. The owner and property manager was very attentive and accessible at all times. I don't think that the pictures posted do the property justice. I went for a girls getaway, and we would definitely return in the future.

Family vacation 8/1- 8/8

My family and I just returned from a 1 week stay. We had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and is fully equipped. The bedrooms and beds are large and comfortable. The condo is conveniently located to Taino beach and the marketplace and the other beaches are within a short drive. There is a dock out back, fun for fishing! We had the pool all to ourselves the times we used it. Belle was available, just a phone call away to answer any questions and offer advise on restaurants. We had a great time and thank Belle for making our stay so enjoyable!

Beautiful Condo

We stayed at this beautiful condo for a week in November. We were pleasantly surprised on the size of the home. With the 2 master suites both with ensuites on the second level, a bedroom on the main level then to see the one in the loft which was very large. The house was immaculate. My husband was quite pleased with the fishing on the dock in the morning having caught a few fish everyday. If you are going down for a nice quiet relaxing holiday this is the place to be. Betty was wonderful, very friendly and was waiting there for us when we arrived.

Our Bahama's Home

We stayed at this Villa for one week in November 2014. Location: 5 minute walk from either the public part of Taino Beach or the resort section. Canal and pool in the back yard. 5 minute walk to the Port Lucaya ferry which we enjoyed taking in the evenings. 5kms from Solomon's grocery store and the liquor store. Rooms: perfectly setup for families or two couples. There are two very nice master suites with ensuite bathrooms and then the loft for any extra travelers. The open concept kitchen/dining/living room leads right out to the patio and back yard. All rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The villa is very well furnished and equiped. Anything you could possibly need was there - kitchen supplies, beach towels, snorkeling gear, laundry, BBQ. I don't think there was anything that we looked for that wasn't stocked. The property manager Betty was fantastic. She met us at the villa upon arrival and was easily accessible for any questions that we had. Overall, the villa comes exactly as advertised and we had a highly enjoyable stay. I would recommend this to anyone.

Honeymoon!

We spent 10 days at this perfect villa for our honeymoon and it was the best trip we have experienced (and we have travelled A LOT). The villa is OUTSTANDING and is equipped with everything you are used to at home. There is nothing that the owners Belle and Mason haven't included that you would be used to having at your own home. Everything is clearly labelled to make it as easy as possible for the guests. Belle and Mason are also a free phone call away for any questions you may have! It is so beautiful and comfortable that we wanted to live there forever. The island is beyond beautiful and the locals couldn't possibly be any kinder and more welcoming. It is a fantastic place to holiday for any age. We did numerous trips to various parts of the island and every experience was so enjoyable and great fun. It would be impossible to run out of things to do for people who enjoy activities. If you prefer relaxation, there are so many fantastic beaches especially within walking distance from the villa. There is also a pool in the backyard and dock to relax and fish! The weather and sea are sunny and warm all year round. We highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be making many more trips back and staying at this villa as it is the best one that we have rented out of all of our travels (by far).

Family Vacation Paradise

Not only are the owners the nicest and most accommodating people you could ever hope to meet, they are the most considerate in connecting you to places to go, the right people to rely on and available should you need them day or night. My trip was great from the day we arrived. The location is unbeatable, you're only footsteps to the beach and lots of action, yet the property is quiet and privacy guaranteed in this tucked away side street. There's a fishing / boat pier with a pool in the back, and if you like to go deep sea fishing and snorkelling,the dock master can arrange for a boat to come to the house. From this location you can quickly hop onto the ferry to go into town which is just 5 minutes away and this is an island that has it all. Friendly Bahamian people everywhere you go, fantastic restaurants, fish fry's, golfing, day trips to fantastic and exotic places around the island, outstanding medical services at extremely reasonable fees should you need a doctor ( which I did ) and try Sunset Medical should something come up. The property Belle and Mason provides has a great bar-b-q grill in the back yard, everything in the house is stocked with what you need. Need a taxi ? Call Godrey at 242-646-3336. The nicest, most reliable driver on the island. Trust me, Godfrey has the low down on everything you need to know. Inside the property Belle and Mason even made available to me a full stocked liquor bar. Call Terence the dock master to arrange fishing and snorkelling, his number is 242-441-2107 ( tell him Joe referred you, okay ? ) Ask Terence to have "Milton" Captain your trip, he is the nicest sweetest guy and he'll make sure you have a great day out on the ocean.

Best in Bahamas …and Beyond!

Stop searching. You found it!‎ We have traveled to more than 50 countries and are hard to impress. But, Grand Bahama and this property are absolute gems -great value and best kept secret‎ in South Atlantic / Caribbean. GRAND BAHAMA - Quiet, safe, gorgeous empty beaches, great roads, fantastic food, friendly people, and excellent service - without the crowds. Much better value and more relaxing than New Providence (Nassau) and Turks and Caicos. Weather was perfect: 80F / 26C everyday. What’s more, Freeport is a short flight from North American mainland (just 3.5 hours from Montreal). Our only regret is that we didn't find this place sooner! Skip the crowded, overpriced, and touristy locales and come here and get a real, relaxing vacation for half the price. OMG SERVICE - Belle set us up for success and answered all of our questions before we left. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the wonderful ‘Ms. V’. She connected us with EVERYTHING we needed… best fish markets, restaurants, fishing/snorkeling charters, medical facilities. It was like having a personal concierge! PROPERTY - Town house is short drive (10 mins) from the airport, and yet is a world away. It is located on a quiet cul de sac backing onto inter-coastal canal within short walk (5 mins) to Taino Beach and Pirates Cove. House is private, quiet, modern, clean, very well appointed, and deceptively spacious. It has large modern kitchen and living area with 4 large bedrooms (including a large loft with two double beds and office) and 3 bathrooms over three levels, complete with free Wifi, cable TV, and AC in every room. Everything you need on site...snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, fishing rods, cleaning supplies, cooking oil, spices, etc. Also has AMAZING BBQ/grill (…OMG…we ate so much BBQ). Grocery store (Solomon's) and liquor store (700s) are co-located a short drive (5 mins) away. We rarely saw and never heard our neighbours. Our daughters (6 and 9) had complete run of the property and pool. ‎Every morning they would take the fishing rods out of the closet and go down to the canal and catch (and release) colourful Sergeant Majors while we cooked breakfast. One day, we booked a private charter to go fishing and snorkeling. The boat picked us up and dropped us off right at our dock in the backyard. Amazing property/ experience. Can't wait to go back! PS - Recommend Brad’s Car Rental. Best Prices. Located in airport terminal. Additional insurance is cheaper than most.

Great Winter Retreat on a Quiet Island

We spent two months in this condo that felt like home. It was one of only six units in a residential area and has a swimming pool as well as a deep water dock on one of the island's many canals. Two beaches are a ten minute walk as is the ferry to Port Lucaya. We rented a car, which was good for grocery shopping and to get to more remote beaches like Fortune Bay and Barbary, but you wouldn't need one for a one or two week stay. The unit had everything noted in the listing. It is great for families, but worked equally well for just two. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet family vacation. The condo had everything to make us feel at home, cable TV's, games, movie and music DVD's and CD's. Appliances are American and the kitchen is fully equipped. The owners supply beach chairs, swim fins and masks and even fishing tackle. The computer includes Wi-Fi and there's a special phone for local calls to the states and Canada. The unit was very clean and the pool and grounds are maintained weekly. The rear patio includes a table and chairs and a large gas grille. The other units are a mix of seasonal snowbirds and full time residents. We were there long enough to be invited to join the 4:00 PM happy hour group at a nearby dock! Best of all, it was very quiet at night - no trouble falling asleep. The condo came with a concierge/chef. Andrew met us at the airport and gave as a rundown on island activities. His wife took us to the grocery store after we arrived and they worked as a team to resolve an issue with the clothes dryer. The owners checked in with us regularly to make sure things were going well. Freeport is not Nassau; it is quiet and unspoiled. We saw one Wendy's and a Burger King; no McDonald's! If you are driving, the roads are great and there is no traffic. We spent most of our time at the beach or watching the trainers in the early mornings at the Dolphin Experience. We also loved Garden in the Glades. Restaurants and what nightlife there is are in Port Lucaya. Most of the tourists are day trippers bussed in from the cruise ships for a few hours. They go to several beach clubs that also offer PWC rentals, parasailing and reef tours. There’s a nice beachfront restaurant down the street that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Groceries are more expensive than on the mainland, but restaurant prices were comparable to those in the Northeast. Finally, the Bahamian people are wonderful!

Absolutely perfect

If we could give 10 stars, we would! DO NOT hesitate to rent this lovely home from Belle. It is EVERYTHING that the previous reviews say it is, and more. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! My husband, myself, and our 7 year old daughter stayed a week here, over February break, and we have never been so relaxed and happy any where we've ever stayed. Period. It was perfect. The place is impeccably clean and well appointed. The kitchen particularly is fully stocked and very agreeable to cooking and baking, which we took full advantage of during our stay. There is a grill, which we quite enjoyed, and used several times. The pool out in the shared back garden is the perfect size, and our daughter spent every minute in it that she could. We had it virtually to ourselves, most of the time. Also, there is a lovely dock on the large canal, and a covered gazebo just through the back garden, as well. We spent so much time there, just watching the fish and the water, and relaxing with our coffee in the morning, and G&T's in the evening. The beach is literally a 5-10 minute pleasant walk from the house: go to the end of the neighborhood street (about a city block), cross over the road, duck into the opening in the thick wall of jungle (very obvious), walk along a lovely jungle path, and there it is. We LOVED the walk, as we got to see plants and butterflies, and it felt like it was our secret, private beach, once we arrived. We walked there and back 3-4 x/ day, and were glad of the chance to do it, every time. For an easy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink, take the same walk to the beach, but bear right along the beach. In about 4 minutes, you will come to Tiano by the Sea, which is a restaurant RIGHT on the pristine white beach, with amazing seating that makes you feel like you are practically in the sea as you dine. Prices are very good, as is the food and service. We highly encourage you to go get a drink and some nibbles there! We LOVED Gold Rock Beach (we rented a car, and it is a 20-25 minute drive) and spent two entire days there....we were practically alone on the beach each day. Belle has a complete and thorough informational binder, in the kitchen. Just do as it suggests, and you'll be as happy as we were. We are planning to return next year, and can hardly wait!!! She is available for any questions, at any time. The property manager lives on site and is kind, warm and lovely as well, and full of information. Thank you, Belle!!!

Best vacation ever!

I can't begin to say how great this experience was for us. Belle was amazing to work with, willing to work with a date change due to my error, staying in communication with me, and just being so kind! Ms Verlene is a delight as well! She was close and so willing to answer any questions we had. Everything stated in the reviews I agree with... convenience to the beautiful beach and a detailed book with everything you need to enjoy your stay! The beds are comfy too! We primarily went to the different beaches but hope to return and try some activities. You won't be disappointed!

Great Condo and Property!

Belle's condo is everything as recommended by other folks that had stayed previously. It was clean, spacious with plenty of cooking staples, to which we added some additional items. As mentioned the property is well maintained with a pool area and docks. It is located at the end of the street with very little road noise. The most noise heard was from the birds in the early morning and boats later in the day travelling the canal. We had the good fortune to enjoy the newest island restaurant, the Stoned Crab, located at Taino Beach, approximately 1.5 kms away. Great crab! We also had the opportunity to try some of our favourite restaurants the Flying Fish, a perennial favourite and the Sabor. Had a great time at your Condo Belle, thanks for having us and being so patient the first day when we tried to get the TV working. We eventually succeeded, having grandchildren and knowing how they like to fiddle with the TV connections. Truly enjoyed our visit and will return in the future. Alex

Fantasy Week in a Fantasy Home!

Absolutely loved our stay in this Freeport Villa! First off, the accessibility to the beautiful white sand beaches, restaurants, oceanside bars, grocery store and Port Lucaya (only being minutes away) was a huge added plus for us. This villa was immaculate when we arrived and well prepared with everything we needed for our 1 week stay. The house is very well maintained and incredibly spacious- a no brainer for us versus being stuck in a hotel or resort. Multiple televisions and a full set DVD collection was a nice way for us to wind down our evenings with the kids. Another reason we loved this place was its privacy and the fact that it is tucked away in a quiet area- not to mention the spectacular pool in the backyard overlooking the ocean canal. We are so happy to have booked this place and can't thank Belle enough for the experience and recommendations that were provided for us. If you're looking for a phenomenal getaway, you have got to stay here!

Best beach vacation ever!! Easy 5 STARS!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. :-)

Our family had the most amazing vacation here. This island is quiet, relaxing, friendly, with plenty to do! We also felt very safe which is not to be taken for granted when traveling. (We have a timeshare in Mexico but just don't feel safe there anymore.) My husband especially loved the private beach just a short walk away. Walk down Martel Place, turn right on Jolly Roger Dr, cross the street, walk a dozen paces or so, you will see a small opening through the jungle on the left with white rocks on path. It was like going through Jurassic Park for at least 50 yards, then you exit to a private beach. (no pumas or poisonous snakes on island so totally safe!) Clear and calm waters. We also loved Paradise Cove where we swam with sea turtles in the wild. Deadman's Reef was awesome to swim with the pigs and we found some beautiful shells while snorkeling. Belle's condo was perfect! It was spacious for all 4 of us to spread out. Must note that the beds were all especially comfy! We slept so well! Free WIFI in condo worked great. Condo has everything you could possible need: beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and more, be sure to check her list. On the top floor is an office which really came in handy when my son needed to use the printer to print a page to sign for a new job he just got. Belle was very attentive, checking in on us a couple of times and sharing knowledge of the things to do. Use Belle's binder in the kitchen, has TONS of local information for your vacation. Ms. Verlene is the on-site property manager who was there to greet us. She is a sweetheart! There is pool right in the backyard, then a private dock where we watched the tropical fish swimming around! My daughter and I loved relaxing out there. You can charter a private boat to pick you up right in your backyard! These captains offer a bunch of different excursions. Wish we had time to do this, but 1 week was not enough. We did not want to go home, this place felt like home! Well, next time we will try one of the private charters. We were glad we rented a car, best way to get around the island. Book directly on-line with Brad's Car Rental, best prices in Grand Bahamas. Port Lucaya has a bunch of great restaurants and is just a short drive away. Cappucino's had the most amazing Italian food, Agave Lucaya was our favorite for steak/lobster combo at $34.95. (big enough to share) and a nice happy hour. Wonderful Property

Owner and property manager are very responsive to issues and want to make sure your stay is as good as it can be. It's actually undersold as a 3 bedroom, it could easily sleep 10 people.

A Home Away From Home

I spent 2 weeks at Belle's very comfortable home with my parents in their 80s and young adult children. Belle has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We rented a mini van and kept it filled with beach chairs, towels, and very nice snorkeling equipment so we were ready to go. There were coolers and ice packs to pack drinks. Once a day we ate out but otherwise enjoyed cooking in the nicely appointed kitchen with a pantry of basics to use. The weather was a little cool but we had the pool to ourselves. My family bought frozen squid and enjoyed fishing for pan fish in the canal. Our favorite places were lunch at Banana Bay at Fortune Beach, snorkeling at the Dead Man's Reef at Paradise Cove, and the fish fry at Smith Point. The beds were very comfortable and deserve a mention. While Taino Beach is a short walk away, I recommend renting a car to see the whole island. Belle called several times to see if we had any questions or problems and the neighbors were available too.

Absolute great place, beach nearby!

Love love my visit and will return, no issues with rental. Isand is rebounding after the hurricane and things are getting better everyday. The people of Bahamas are beautiful souls, who are the epitome of friendly island.

Wonderful place Wonderful time

We had a great time. Dealing with Belle was very easy. She was very friendly and responsive. She called to welcome us the first night and later to make sure everything was going well. Verlene the contact at the condo was so delightful as well as her husband. The condo was as pictured, very well stocked and so comfortable! The beach is amazing. You can walk there in five minutes and there is a restaurant called Taino by the Sea. We had breakfast there every morning. It closes at 4. The water taxi is free right now due to the lack of restaurants currently serving dinner in this area due to the clean up from the hurricane but there are many choices at the Port Lucaya marketplace. You must go to the Wed. Night fish fry however on Taino Beach. It's a bit farther but we walked easily and it was such a fun night! I would highly recommend this place . There is a small pool on site and you can also sit by the channel. We spent our days on the beach but it was quiet by the pool and would be good for small children or late nights. There is a fully stocked kitchen and gas grill but we were four women on vacation so no cooking for us! Thanks so much for lending us your place.

Outstanding!!!

This house and property is amazing!! Everything we needed or wanted was available , very clean and well laid out and organized for use!! The kitchen is completely stocked to be able to cook anything, and the BBQ on the patio is fantastic to grill fresh fish! We were greeted and treated with warmth and enthusiasm throughout our stay and definitely recommend this property!! Belle and Mason have made this a home to enjoy, and their attention to detail is evident in every room!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Best memories ever!!!

Thank you so much Belle for sharing your Bahamas home with us! We celebrated our 50th. Anniversary with our children and they keep thanking us for such a great vacation. The home has everything and more of what you need. We totally lived in the pool and all the great landscaping really gave you the feeling that this was just what busy people needed. The beds were so dreamy and comfortable , we just loved the feeling of sleeping in beds that were as great as our home mattress. The beach was beautiful , as was the pool at Tiano beach. This was our first time in the Bahamas and it will not be our last! Thank you Belle for all the memories that we shared for our vacation. God bless.

Great!!

This is a very well kept spacious home with lots of advantages such as a well stocked kitchen which includes a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The adjoining living room and dining room provide plenty of space for entertaining or just relaxing with a good book. The bedrooms are all spacious and tastefully decorated and most contain a private washroom with tub and shower. The second floor contains the bedrooms which are situated in such a way as to give maximum privacy. The third floor is a beautifully large office/bedroom area for anyone requiring maximum privacy. This arrangement is ideal for close friends and family members who want to enjoy the pleasure of each others company while still maintaining as much privacy as they desire. It is situated on a quiet road yet close to the night life, if one requires a little more than total relaxation. There is a private outdoor sitting area, as well as a gazebo and swimming pool. In addition I enjoyed spending time sitting on the dock watching the water, and was quite impressed when the rented touring boat pulled right up to the house and all we had to do was hop on. The restaurants in the area are all top notch and service was pleasant. This is a great deal for anyone who wants to enjoy a vacation with family or close friends and I would definitely return and recommend the property to other people. The ownera are exceedingly anxious to provide excellent customer service and have definitely exceeded in this regard.

FANTASTIC!

There were four of us sisters 65 plus enjoying this lovely villa for a week. It had everything anyone would have in their own home. We enjoyed home cooked meals in the villa along with a short walk (10 minutes for us) to Taino beach where we also dined on wonderful meals at the restaurant and of course swimming in the ocean. Activities are close by such as snorkeling, banana boat rides, fishing, glass bottom boat, parasailing, shopping and many more. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool and fishing off the dock. The beds were very comfortable and the nights quiet...We were able to keep up on the ball games back home on the big TV in the living area and the master bedroom. Belle had Chef Andrew meet us at the airport he was very hospitable, taking us to the grocery store on our way to the villa and was always within a phone call away for any questions or needs we had...Belle was very helpful, checking in on us giving us advise on anything from how to work the remote control on the TV, restaurants, activities and such...Between Belle and Chef Andrew we never felt we were alone. It was good to know we had such great people to rely on....I definitely recommend this villa for anyone wishing for a relaxing place to stay yet close to all activities....Thanks Belle for opening up your home for people like us to enjoy...

A luxury condo on in paradise

My family and I stay at Belle's condo for one week out of our month long trip to the Bahamas. We traveled by boat with our three kids and two dogs. The home is very spacious and is well stocked with utensils to make a five course meal. Our two son's stayed on the third floor in the loft. We never even saw them the whole vacation. We were able to park our boat in the slip directly behind the condo for a small fee. Overall our family enjoyed our week in Freeport and Belle's home made it even more enjoyable.

We take pride in taking care of our home and our guests. Our beds and linens come from the USA so you have a higher quality stay. Grand Bahama Island is a hidden gem. It has numerous beautiful sandy white beaches and we see at least 3 shades of blue every morning when we go for a walk to Taino Beach. The people are so friendly and helpful, there are no language barriers and we feel very safe at all times. There is a distinct Bahamian culture and the people are very proud. It has a direct flight on Sunwing (peak season) and only takes 2.5 hours from Toronto, Calgary and most parts of the USA. You can also take a fast ferry from Ft. Lauderdale to Freeport which takes 2.5 hours if you don't like to fly or reside near the coast. We also see many Europeon's vacationing here and have said how beautiful the beaches are on our Island. This Island is quickly becoming the destination of choice worldwide. Most times there are seat sales which makes it very affordable to come for a long weekend. They take American dollar at par and this island has duty free/tax free plentiful grocery stores which make it very desirable for large families/friends to vacation here. The Island is appreciative for foreign travellers coming which makes for a great holiday when visiting Port Lacaya Casino, shops and restaurants located 5 min. drive away. It only takes 10 min. to tour all main attractions and the sea is a whole other world of exploration.

This home is well equipped with creature comforts for entertainment, every room has a tv,dvd if you want some alone R&R time. The family room has an entertainment centre, games, latest dvd movie library and for those less savy (like me) board games, cards and books.

Our home is completely renovated with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and marble floor. All bathrooms are completely renovated with granite marble deep soaker tubs. Beds and linens come from USA so very comfortable!
We also have an 800sq. ft loft which has 2 queen beds and a large office with a computer to keep in touch or do business.
For the outdoors, we back onto a pool and canal which you can swim in both or go across the street to Taino beach (5 min. walk).

We are 5 min. drive or 2.5 mile walk to all the shops, restaurants/casino in Port Lucaya. It is so quiet at night that you can hear the ocean with the patio doors open.
Our family have told us how beautiful the breeze is here and there is no humidity from Oct. to March because we live so close to the ocean.
