CASUAL LUXURY WITH SUN, GOLF, FAMILY FUN AND RELAXATION IN A SECURE AND AMENITY-FILLED GATED COMMUNITY AT THE DELAWARE SHORE ON THE BEAUTIFUL INDIAN RIVER BAY! Our three bedroom resort condominium with a beautiful Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is quiet and comfortable with every amenity you could need. The master bedroom features a large ensuite bathroom, a beautiful king bed, ceiling fan, full-length dressing mirror and flat screen HD television. The second bedroom has a lovely queen bed, ceiling fan and access to a spacious and sunny screened-in porch that is shared with the third bedroom. Bedroom #3 is equipped with a sturdy and stylish full-size bunk bed, with trundle bed underneath, each of which comfortably fits adults as well as children. The living room has a queen sleeper and 52 inch HD flat-screen TV, the dining room sits eight adults comfortably and the large Kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs. Sit on the porch overlooking the tranquil woods with a partial view of the 1st green with your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail while enjoying the quiet serenity, and maybe even enjoy the WiFi internet service. The Peninsula boasts an array of first class amenities including four pools -- a family wave pool with sand beach, an adult-only infinity pool, a new family pool, and an indoor pool -- golf, tennis, a gym, a pool-side restaurant, tiki bar and snack bar, and a beautiful new clubhouse. The grounds are impeccably maintained with miles of biking and hiking trails, a private sandy bay beach with fishing pier and kayak/paddle board rentals. All within a short drive to Lewes, Rehobeth, Dewey and Bethany. The combination of luxury, relaxation and family security cannot be matched on the Delaware shore and we would be proud to share our Peninsula world with you and your family.

My family enjoyed our stay at Ed's condo in The Peninsula. Communication with ED before and after the trip was perfect. He emailed a booklet containing all information about his condo, the Peninsula development and also the surrounding area for restaurant ideas. The condo was spotless, all beds were comfortable and the kitchen fully supplied with all essentials. Anything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The pics are accurate. The Peninsula community is beautiful and family-friendly. Easy driving distance to Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City, Maryland. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Ed's condo for a relaxing vacation.

Very spacious Condo in a lovely resort community

The condo is very clean and well equipped with anything you need. A nice location on the (top) 3rd floor with elevator outside the door. Very spacious with private porches looking out into the woods. Very easy check in and out with good communication from the owner. Comfortable furniture and beds.

Family reunion

My mother (age 88) my sister ( age 57) myself (age 68) stayed at the property. Everything was very accurate--meaning the pictures online are an excellent representation of the property and all of the amenities are accurately presented in the written materials. We were very pleased and if we are able to return we will try to rebook here specifically as we had a lovely time and are quite comfortable with the location and surroundings. We also had the relatives that we came to visit over for a lovely dinner at our placed. We hosted a family of 4 and it was quite comfortable for all of us.

Great for a quick vacation

Excellent 3 day, spur of the moment vacation at The Peninsula, in a lovely, well-furnished, comfortable condo close to golf, pools (heated while we were there, 9/10-12,) tennis, and fitness center. Easy rental / check-in / check-out. Good instructions from the owner on what to do in the condo and the community. No problems at all. Perfect weather, too!

Wonderful Stay!

The property was beautiful and the unit was clean and spacious. The condo was stocked with everything you could need or want....coffee, linens, paper products, cleaning supplies, games, etc. Ed was very communicative and provided all of the details we needed for our stay. Our one issue was the TV in the living room. We wanted to connect our phone to the Vizio smart TV to watch the football game but could not find a remote to the TV. The only remote was for the FIOS cable and we could not get that TV to operate just the smart TV....not a big deal. It is also unfortunate that the amenity passes are extra but I understand that is out of the owner's control. If anyone is wondering, 18 holes of golf as an unaccompanied guest at Peninsula ranges around $215pp. The golf course is beautiful but that is pricey. The amenity passes (pools, mini golf, gym, spa) for adults are $30/day in season and $10/day out of season. It would be helpful if these details were disclosed in the property listing. That can get expensive for a larger group. Overall our stay was great!

Lovely Condo

Nicely decorated condo in the beautiful resort community of The Peninsula. Very clean. Comfy beds. Great communication from the owner, including a booklet with info on the condo and suggestions for the surrounding area. One thing to note…toiletries are not included—so just remember to bring your shampoo!

Spacious & relaxing

This property was a great place to get away. The layout was incredibly spacious inside and included two balconies. It felt like a remote retreat despite being a few steps away from the clubhouse and other popular amenities in the resort. We definitely recommend booking for a low-key but luxurious vacation.

The property was immaculately clean period there is a wave pool, many golf course, and other pools right on the property in the neighborhood, so the kids have things to do. The beach is only 25 minutes away. The only complaint I have is that the restaurants close early. So make sure you have plans for dinner every night. Would definitely recommend this property in place to any of my friends are family

Absolutely suberb!!!!!!!!

This beautiful home is on my list of a perfect home. Mr. Ed Frantz was a total gentleman. My family & I would love to rent this gorgeous home again. The surroundings was immaculate, quiet , relaxing,peaceful and just serene. The townhouse was absolutely comfortable. Had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. Peaceful Retreat

We rented this condo to bring our family together from 3 different states for an early Thanksgiving celebration. It was the perfect place for us all to stay and have a family dinner. Plenty of space and a great kitchen for preparing all the dishes. The condo is clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. The Peninsula property has nature trails, beaches and a great clubhouse, restaurant pool and spa. We had a great time!

Beautiful place but some rules I didn't like

The place is beautiful, but note the following: You need to pay for passed to use the pool and such, this is noted on the listing but someone might miss it. Supposedly during the summer a renter cannot use the pool at all, luckily we were able. My other big complaint is that you have to wash and start drying all the linens and towels. This meant we had to sit there waiting for the washer to finish before we could leave to spend time with family. I am not a big renter of this type, but I have never seen this type of rule before neither have my kids. And you find this rule at the back of the packet they send you for check in. Finally, the cable tv had a really problem with pixelating, my kids thought it looked like streaming from 5 years ago.

Another Great Vacation at the Peninsula

Great condo - close to the Clubhouse and all the amenities the Peninsula offers including the Bay. The corner unit offered much privacy and quiet environment. Also offered all the convenience of home. Ed was responsive to our inquiries promptly. Had a great stay.

Great location

The property was clean and in a very nice gated golf community: The community amenities were a nice add on for a small extra fee. Nice central location with access to Ocean City, Rohobeth, Lewes, and Bethany Beach .

Great family Vacation in Millsboro!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this apartment in The Peninsula! Our daughter, her husband and our 2 yr old granddaughter stayed for 1 week. We went to the wave pool everyday because it was so child friendly! The waves were gentle enough not to knock down a 2 year old and the water was a comfortable temperature. The extra cost of $110 per adult per week or $15 per day weekdays or $20 on weekends was paid by us when we arrived. You could order food or drinks at the onsite grille. We didn't go to the Clubhouse restaurant. Our apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. The master bedroom suite is huge! It not only had a walk-in closet and a walk-in shower, but a jacuzzi tub too! The 3rd bedroom has a bunkbed as well as a trundle which pulls out which our granddaughter preferred sleeping on. The kitchen is stocked with every gadget you could possibly need. The 2 porches look out to the woods and are very private. There's an elevator that you can get from the basement parking garage directly to your floor and your apartment is only a couple of feet from there. We were on the top floor of 4 floors. We walked on the nature trail in the woods behind our building which was really nice! There's even a fishing pond and small pier there. There's also a nice fishing pier and beach about 2 minutes drive from the building. It's on the river and has a beautiful view. We saw an Osprey nest and a baby Osprey there! There are grocery stores and restaurants within a very short drive. Communication with the owner was easy and we had no problem checking in or out. We definitely recommend staying here!!

Beautiful Condo

Rental process was smooth from the beginning. The resort is on a beautiful piece of property. Condo was absolutely wonderful and my family really enjoyed staying there.

Family Vacation

This was my fifth time renting at the Peninsula and again we all had a wonderful time. This was the first time renting this unit and it was just as described and we loved it. Ed was so easy to work with and we had no issues. The pool and the clubhouse were great and we enjoy many of the restaurants in the area. Some of our favorites are LaDolce Vita, Yellowfins and Captains. I can’t wait to return. This is by far a 5 Star rating. Thank you Ed!

Beautiful Place

I would absolutely stay here again. Beautiful property and beautiful golf resort. THE best in terms of cleanliness I have seen in VRBO (I always bring cleaning supplies with me but this time I didn’t even use any of my own.)

AMAZING PROPERTY & OWNER!!!

The gated community was beautiful, safe, friendly and amazing! There was so much to do there that we never had to leave the area! The condo was absolutely gorgeous, clean, secluded, plenty of games to play, kitchen supplies, bath towels, bed sheets, pillows and blankets. We loved the screened in private balconies to relax & listen to all the beautiful sounds of nature since we were right up against the woods. The private bay was fun to explore the different water life creatures. We all loved the wave pool, adult pool, inside pool, hot tubs, miniature golf course & golf course right in walking distance from our condo. The owner Ed was great to communicate with! Any questions we had, he would respond quickly and was always very nice, friendly, understanding, very flexible and accommodating to make us happy! We will definitely be staying there again and would definitely recommend it to others! We can’t wait to go back! Thanks Ed for everything!

We are Ed and Dawn. Having grown up on Long Island, we love being near the water and the beach. We first vacationed at the Peninsula in 2005 when our daughter was five and found ourselves renting there every summer thereafter. So in 2010, we finally decided to buy. Last year we traded in our 2 bedroom condo for a 3 bedroom so we could host more family and friends. We are happy to share our home away from home with you and hope you find it as relaxing and peaceful as we do.

You just can't beat the combination of location (only 2.5 hours from D.C., Baltimore and Philly), beautiful surroundings, and great amenities. Although there are incredible beaches and restaurants just a short drive away, you never have to leave the Peninsula grounds if you don't want to.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It allows for the perfect mix of activity and relaxation -- with something for all ages. We especially love sitting on the bay beach in the evening enjoying a cocktail (or two).
