We take all guest feedback seriously, and we’re sorry this guest chose to leave a 1-star review without comment. Their reservation was made for five registered guests, and the rental agreement — which they accepted — clearly states that the maximum occupancy is six and that only registered guests may enter the property. The morning after check-in, three additional unregistered individuals arrived with luggage, in violation of both our rental agreement and the City of Oceanside’s Short Term Rental Good Neighbor Policy. As a result, the reservation was canceled per the terms of the agreement, and the guests were asked to vacate the property. These policies are in place to protect the safety, comfort, and expectations of all parties. We remain committed to providing a high-quality experience for all guests who follow the terms of the rental and local regulations.
