Quiet Getaway Within Walking Distance of the Beach and Mall.

Adorable, quiet, one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and bath nestled in historic district. You can listen to the horse and carriage clippety-clop down the street. Sleeps 5 comfortably. Apartment is located on the 3rd floor of our home. No elevator, Private entrance to apartment located at the back of the house. Bedroom has queen size bed and single bed. Kitchen and living room combination has queen size sleep sofa. Older house with updated amenities. Central air. Within easy walking distance to both beach and mall. On one of the nicest streets in Cape May. Outside shower with hot and cold water. Small deck looking out onto backyard for an afternoon cocktail or even breakfast!
Bring your bikes - there is a spot in the back yard where they will be under cover. We also provide beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas for the beach.

Our experience was fabulous! Staying in the apartment was PERFECT! We had plenty of room and didn't feel like we were on top of each other unlike when we stayed at other places. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast before heading to the beach and storing our food. The beds were very comfortable! We will definitely be back and will make this our annual place.

This was a girls trip with my daughters. The room was clean and comfortable. The house is conveniently located near the beach and Washington St Mall. Jane is very friendly and quick to get back to you ifvyou need anything.

Loved this rental! It overlooked the rooftops and tree tops of Cape May. Great centralized location. Bob and Jane were great hosts, even had providing a complimentary jar of blackberry jam. Looking forward to future visits.

Fantastic stay short but sweet Vacay!

The apartment is exactly as described except for the T.V. -not a smart T.V. It was extremely clean and we literally did not need to bring anything but our clothes! Bob and Jane were wonderful hosts! We loved the neighborhood and the location. Photo is from the private deck in the trees.

The photos do not do this place justice - it’s extremely adorable and cozy! It was perfect for the 4 of us but beware there are tons of stairs leading up to the apartment and they are super slippery after the rain !

Great affordable family option in beautiful Cape May

We booked a 3-night rental for our small but growing family. We have a 4-yr old and are pregnant with our 2nd. We knew about the stairs but weren’t concerned bc we live in a 3-story house and are quite used to lot’s of stairs. The house is lovely, lot’s of vintage charm but has some updates to make it more comfortable. We visited during a nasty heat wave and the AC did a great job keeping us comfortable. We loved the balcony off the apartment and the location of this rental. Two things to note, you have to park on the street, but we didnt have issues finding parking close by and Bob and Jane’s apartment has smoke and CO alarms and there is a fire exit from within the apt as well. Im someone who travels with my own smoke/CO alarms and was relieved to see safety taken so seriously at this rental. Bob and Jane were friendly and helpful hosts. Overall, this was a great family vacation spot for our little family and we enjoyed having such a prime location to explore the beauty of Cape May from.

the outside cuteness of the home is great . birds, rabbits,fish! and jane and bob were amazing and friendly. you can hear so many birds, you can hear the ocean from the deck and the horses go by. if you know Cape May and you know about the thursday ramble you can even hear the music from that. excellent location as you can walk to everything. will come back. thanks jane and bob....Cathy and Carley and little baby to come.

Hidden Gem of Cape May!

If you're looking for your next place to stay in Cape May - I HIGHLY recommend here!!! It is the coziest place ever! Pictures do not do it justice and I can't speak highly enough of the owners as well. All around the perfect spot for our mini honeymoon! Everything is within walking distance too!

The Perfect Spot!

It was my Fiancée’s and I’s first time in Cape May and this rental was absolutely perfect for a beach getaway. Walking distance to the beach and mall. Bob and Jane were great hosts and have a beautiful property! We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Perfect Cape May getaway

This property is the perfect size and location for our family. Very close to the beach and town square. It was very clean and comfortable. Bob and Jane were amazing hosts and very communicative. They were there to help us and answer any questions. We will definitely be going back and reserving this property again.

Photos Do Not Do Justice to this Accommodation!

Booking last minute for a Cape May stay over the 4th of July is impossible; we were absolutely the lucky ducks to have snagged this rental! I cannot stress that the photos do not convey the wonderful light and openness of Treetops. The rooms are cozy and light-filled during the day, and require no electric light. It is an understatement to say that cleanliness is the first thing that determines the quality of a stay for my family, and Treetops didn't disappoint; as clean as any 5-Star upscale hotel, which is saying something. The beds were comfy- and I stress comfy! Mattress pads stayed in the car! The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you might want or need in Cape May- considering all the options for takeaway. And then there is the deck. I will let you and yours experience the pleasure of that little gem! Bob and Jane are very friendly without being obtrusive, they have the most lovely grounds and details- including the playful Holly, 3 resident bunnies, a koi pond, and space for bikes. If you love dogs, don't miss out on the row of little faces lined up below the deck fence of the adjoining property- when you see it you can't unsee it and it will charm you right down to your toes! Steps are steps- we welcomed the exercise, and even on the 4th with people pouring in to town, parking was available. You can always wake early after the day trippers have gone and pull your car onto the block with no problem. TEN stars!

Wonderful time in Cap May!!

We had such a great time at Bob and Jane’s rental during memorial day weekend. Their home is beautiful and very clean. They went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best to date! We will certainly stay there again!

Tree tops

Lovely apartment in the tree tops. Well appointed with all that u could need. The beach chairs were a welcome extra! Comfortable and peaceful on a historic block. Hosts were very friendly and kind. Great weekend get away.

Best Cape May visit ever!

My family and I have been to Cape May several times. We've tried to balance budget and fun by staying in campgrounds, B&B's, motels, etc. The Treetop apartment is the best of all worlds--comfortable, quaint, quiet and close to everything in Cape May. Walk to the beach or shopping in 5 minutes flat! Plus, inside the apartment it is surprisingly roomy. There are 3 flights of wooden stairs to get to your tree house oasis. Take caution--the climb is not suited for everyone. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and reasonably priced.

Great Location. Short walk to beach and Washington St. mall. Well furnished for all your needs. Neat tree house setting. Definitely would stay there again.

We have lived here since 1964. The first and only house we ever lived in. Bob was born and raised in Cape May. We raised three children and they still live in the area so we see our grandchildren often! We are both retired. Bob worked in law enforcement and retired from the Prosecutor's Office in Cape May Court House. He was also on City Council for 10 years (6 as Mayor!). I retired from Lower Cape May Regional School District as the Principal's Secretary.

Everyone who has stayed here says they feel as if they are 'home'. It has a very warm and inviting feeling. We make our own jam and our guests are welcomed with a jar upon their arrival.
