Renovated home in the quiet Beachside area with lots of personal touches. The home is full of colorful accents creating an upbeat coastal atmosphere. Make the most of the sunny island days and take the short walk to the pool, beach, tennis courts, and shopping. If you decide to enjoy the outdoors from home you can hang out on the sundeck and cook up a meal on the charcoal grill. The kitchen has all new Jenn Air kitchen appliances and granite counter tops. There are 2 TVs, one in living room and one in master bedroom. YouTube TV is provided for cable service on these tvs as well as apps for your favorite streaming channels you can login to while you are here. Wi-Fi included. Outdoor enclosed shower. No pets. No smoking.

Excellent vacation rental

No complaints from our stay here. The space was even bigger than we had imagined. Close to great amenities and a short walk or drive to shops and grocery stores.

Family Beach Trip

This house was great for our family! We had 3 adults and 2 small children that stayed. It was spacious and with everything you needed in the kitchen to cook at home! The kids had a blast at the pool and the beach was a close easy walk!

Beachside House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this house over Memorial Day weekend. The location in relation to the beach is amazing, including a semi-private access path. It was nice to be able to walk to the Harris Teeter across the street for any needed groceries and/or amenities. The pool was very nice, and we used it a lot. Be prepared to buy basically everything for daily life, as the house has none of it - paper towel, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. Each rental is different, so just a good thing to know going in. There's a nice outdoor shower downstairs, which was great when coming home sandy from the beach. Our family of 5 fit easily. Highly recommended, and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful location beautiful home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the Beachside location. Short walk to the beach, convenient walk for groceries, shops, restaurants, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Pool was basically one house away. House was very nice, updated and spacious, accommodated 6 of us easily. Island Reality was efficient to work with. Only suggestions I would make are include some garbage bags in unit or remind renter to bring some with them and update to softer mattresses & pillows in rental (They weren’t terrible for a weeks stay, but definitely not the most comfortable.)

Love the IOP

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the property and location. It is furnished in a manner more as if it were owner-occupied than a rental.My only concern was the front steps. All of the steps appear identical. This combined with the very short step at the bottom result in a tripping hazard. Considering that, they are more attractive and safer than rotted wood with popped nails that we have experienced at some other properties. This could be easily improved by adding a tread of a different color to the short bottom step.

Best feature is Location, Location, Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first experience renting a weekly vacation home. The house was very clean and hospitable. It felt like home, not too ostentatious. The furniture and beds were comfortable, although the recliner chair isn’t in the best condition. There were some minor maintenance items which could be addressed like the handrail on the back deck is rotting and the tile floor outside the master bedroom is loose and clicks when you step on it. The best thing about this home is its location in a quiet corner of the Beachside neighborhood. Very little traffic, one house away from pool and tennis court, and an easy walk to beach or grocery store. We were in IOP for a wedding and heard from others who had also rented homes that our location was more convenient to activities than higher end homes in the Wild Dunes area. We felt fortunate for choosing this home from Island Realty.

The walk to the beach is very short and right beside the pool. I have been coming to the Island for 30 years and this is a private Beach entrance. So in other words it was not crowed at all on Beach.The only one thing I think is weird about the house it does not have steps at the back of the house to exit. In case of a emergency you would need to jump off of the deck.

Summer Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this property for the past several years, spending our weekly summer vacations. The house is in a very convenient location, close walk to the beach and grocery stores as well as various restaurants. The mattress in the master bedroom was recently replaced with a new comfortable mattress. The kitchen is well equipped; however, the pots and sheet pans are severely worn. Also, the dishwasher did not always clean the dishes or pots, leaving food residue behind. After two days, we washed everything by hand. There are several additional items that should be addressed. The exterior paint is peeling on most of the property and several windows have wood rot, including the front windows. Also, there is wood rot on the rear deck railing and the deck floor is splintering. Upon our recent Saturday arrival, we were unable to close the bi-folding laundry doors and sent the property management office a text message alerting them of this issue. We received an immediate text message indicating that maintenance would be notified and the issue addressed. However, the maintenance personnel never contacted us and the issue remained unresolved for the entire week. We also altered the office of the wood rotting windows and rear deck as well as the loose HVAC vent over the bed in the front bedroom. We provided the management office pictures of each issue via text message but received no follow-up. We subsequently contacted the maintenance personnel on Thursday about a foul-smelling odor emanating from the washing machine and requested an update on the laundry door issue. We were informed they were unaware of the laundry door issue but would address both the washing machine odor and laundry door as quickly as possible. The maintenance personnel arrived Friday afternoon and addressed the washing machine odor with a cleansing tablet and indicated he would return to address the laundry doors. Unfortunately, he never returned. We’re very disappointed after our recent sta
