Great location

We enjoyed being so close to the beach, the heart of IOP and having a pool. Simple and nice place for a beach weekend for our group of 3.

Great But Pool Was Inaccessible

The location and condo were excellent. The only issue is we booked this place specifically because it had a pool and the pool was off limits for the entire week, which we did not learn until the day we checked in. They gave us a 15% refund and we were allowed to use a pool at a neighboring property, but we would have booked a different place if we had known this when we were booking. Otherwise, great stay. Assuming the pool is accessible in future we would stay here again.

Amazing Trip

We were in town to celebrate/fundraiser for Hop on a Cure for a John Driskell Hopkins. With shows at the Windjammer and Papi’s, this was a perfect location. Easy walk to venues and the beach. Quiet location, very easy in/out. Office was great about checking in. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip!

Nice location, checkin was easy. The second bedroom needs updated mattress and tv replaced. Otherwise the condo is well stocked and comfortable for a family of 5.

Good stay

Nice location, decent place. The only complaint I would say it they had very little cookware. No actual chef knives, cutting boards, or decent cooking utensils to make meals yourself there. Otherwise, great place to stay with a great location.

Quick stay at the beach

This was a great property for us. Just enough space, only a couple of stairs and parking was right at our door. TVs in both bedrooms was a plus. Perfect location just across from the beach and pier and easy walk to dinner and bars. Beach access code got changed unexpectedly but office handled very quickly. Didn’t use the pool but looked fine. Loved the balcony too. Would stay again.

This unit is easy to access, on the first floor, close to the beach and all amenities. The price is reasonable for a place so close to the beach. Twenty minutes and you can be in downtown Charleston !

IOP 2022 Vacation

We arrived late (after office hours), instructions were left and easily accessible. Even though communicating via text, responses were prompt and very helpful. We had a few questions and were assisted promptly. Our unit was in a very good location, close and in short walking distance to beach, grocery, etc. My grandkids felt very much at home in our unit and everyone we met and dealt with was super friendly. IOP is a wonderful vacation destination and VRBO definitely made our trip go very smoothly.

Below Par, needs an update. Want my money back.

OK this place reminded me of my grandfathers back in the 80s. Get real you all, no element of anything resembling a beach vacation except for some sea shells on the bedspread. For less than 500$ you can fix this place up nice. How dare you think this is acceptable for the money. Includes a sign saying don’t take our hangers.

Rough start, ended up good.

Room was not clean and not ready when we got there. No hot water in condo. Hot water tank had to be replaced. Scott, Collins, Jeff, and Linda were very helpful with getting the room ready and hot water tank replaced. They were a pleasure to work with and were sincere in their efforts to help us.

Outdated

Great location! Close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. However, I would not book this rental again. I had three other family members staying in various units on the property that were much nicer for the same price. Our unit was dirty, outdated, outlet plugs loose making it impossible to charge phones and curl hair without holding the plug in place in multiple areas of the unit; we had to use the outlet by the kitchen sink to get ready. The unit also smelled like cigarette smoke mixed with musty air. The management property was helpful and offered us a different unit or a full refund but the other unit was just as bad and we could not find a new place last minute so we decided to stay. The management company did bring an air purifying unit which helped.

Not great

Arrived late to find the master bed linens to have a very strong vomit/mildew odor. We had spare sheets and a throw blanket in the closet and replaced the bedding that night. Called housekeeping in the morning and was told they would be out the following day to change the bedding. We stayed 4 nights and no one showed up. Advertised as a beach condo with a pool, but no beach or pool towels provided. No spare trash bags or basic amenities provided. Main TV and master bedroom TVs both are damaged and viewing is poor. Internet is too slow to function properly, especially if you're trying to work remotely. Kitchen pans are in very poor condition - good luck trying to cook anything. The condo needs updates very badly, and communication is lacking

Gnat your Normal Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived the first thing we noticed were a bunch of gnats flying around in the kitchen / sink area! We also noticed they were all over the sliding glass door that goes out to the balcony. We had to go to Wal-Mart in Mt.Pleasant & buy gnat spray which in a couple of days did take care of them. Lock on sliding glass doors is broken, a stick is placed in bottom track to prevent doors from being opened. The unit itself is located in a great spot. Only takes about less than 5 minutes to cross over to beach. May want to bring memory foam for the beds & ear plugs for the ceilings fans as they make loud noises. Unit could use some updating. Free wifi was great. Only takes about 15 minutes to get to downtown Charleston from unit. Next year, may try a different unit in same building.
