Oak Grove Cottage is your cozy Amelia Island retreat only 1 mile from the beach! Bring your pets and come relax in this calm, breezy space. Our cheery, unique cottage is a bike ride to the beach on complimentary cruisers and only two miles to historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The space is a stylishly designed with no detail spared. Mid century flares and lots of complimentary features to include coffee, bikes, beach gear, and a grill. Games and toys for kids and pets and a fun bunk space!

Historic tongue and groove hard wood floors and walls making this a comfortable coastal cottage stay that is pet and kid-friendly. Youā€™ll have that, ā€œold Florida feelā€ the second you step through the door of our cottage, even though Oak Grove is conveniently located in the heart of FB and convenient to everything. Breezy and stylish lounge spaces. Fully equipped kitchen with eat-in dining area. Large smart TV's in every room. The main, front bedroom is outfitted with a Queen-sized bed with coastal linens. The "Flex" room is outfitted with a full bed and a fun, built-in bunk for kids and funky, retro decor. The bunk has a 150 lb weight limit and is for kids/teens and sleeping only. Not for horse play, etc. Fenced in back yard, with corn hole and plenty of room for your kids and furry friends to romp.

Our cottage is draped in hundred year old oak trees and the back yard is fully fenced providing a perfect space for pets, kids, grilling and romping. Curl up in one of our cozy spaces with your favorite book.

We provide many complimentary amenities to include a gas grill, beach cruiser bikes, beach gear and chairs, customized Corn Hole game for the back, board games, fire pit, gourmet coffee, etc.

We live in town and are just a text away.

Pet friendly with lots of amenities provided! We will also arrange for grocery shopping so your fridge is stocked upon arrival. Just message us. There is an added fee for this service ($50). Finally, we can provide a full resort-like experience to include golf-cart delivery (paid for separately from booking), coordinate massage recommendations, etc. Special occasion? Celebrating something? Notify us so we can provide a special treat for you upon arrival. $50 gift certificate to the local surf shop for the first 3 bookings! Finally, enjoy pool access at one of two local resorts with resort pass. This is an added charge of $25/pp and per day. Details provided in the cottage check-in book.
Nobody over 125 lbs on the built-in bunk. By booking, youā€™re acknowledging to only use the bunk for sleeping per these guidelines.

Such a wonderful spot! The cottage is so perfect, cozy, and has everything you need! The coffee provided was so nice for cozy mornings throwing the ball in the backyard. The space is clean, has comfy beds, and is a great location! We will be back!

My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days and bring our dog with us. The Oak Grove cottage was great for all of us. The secure fenced in yard gave good peace of mind and the neighborhood of quiet streets was good for taking a walk. Location was central to both downtown for shopping and dining and close to the beach. Hosts were super responsive when there was a minor plumbing issue. Would stay again!

Lovely place with everything you could ask for. Located near everything including the beach, backyard was perfect for our dog. It was so comfy here it felt like home. Had little lizard friends in the yard. Thanks for letting us stay here, looking forward to our visit back!

The Oak Grove Cottage was a fantastic choice for my family of 4 and our pup. Communication with the host was immediate and pleasant, you can tell they really care about their customers and creating the best experience possible. The location was ideal to either ride bikes around the neighborhood, beach, or the historic district for a meal and shopping. My daughters enjoyed sharing the bunk bed, board games and legos provided by the host. The fenced in yard along with provided dog toys was a great feature for our year old Doberman. Overall this was a great experience, a trip my family and I will always remember.

Old Florida Charm

This super charming old Florida cottage was perfect for our anniversary getaway with our pup. The decor was tasteful, thoughtful accoutrements like K-cups, noise machine, beach items, and bikes were appreciated. We enjoyed spending time in the fenced backyard playing cornhole and fetch with our dog. Although the street noise was often loud, the location was convenient and the train only ran once in the morning. We would definitely come back.

New Year's Get Away

The house was clean and well kept, the bathroom was a little cramped, but workable. The house is right next to train tracks and several trains went by each day. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you plan to sleep during the day it may be annoying. I'd definitely go back.

This property was AMAZING. Nicole and her husband insured that we had everything to enjoy our 3 day trip to Amelia island, including beach toys, firewood for the fire pit, plenty of fresh towels and a fully functioning kitchen with all the cookware we needed. There was also plenty of toys and bowls for our two little dogs. The fenced in backyard was also a huge bonus because we could let the little dumb dumbs roam about outside without worry. The place was clean and equiped with sound machines in each room (to cover the train noise, I suppose, but it wasn't too loud for us...a thoughtful touch none the less) We also liked the off street and covered parking. Check-in was easy. Nicole was SUPER responsive and we added an extra day onto our trip without issue. Our son said it was his favorite B&B EVER several times. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying at Amelia island and if we swing back through, we will stay at Nicole's place again.
