Hey Eric, We're sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. We understand that any decor is a personal preference and can vary to each individual. We hope that when any one books this property, they will look at the pictures and then decide whether or not this is the place for them. I'm not sure if you relized it or not, but Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island has constantly been rated as one of the leading tourist destinations in the country. The price that we charge is way below market value, especially for an oceanfront location. We do apologize for not making check out information clear. In the future, we need to make it clear that all food and trash be properly disposed of in the outside trash cans.

We had a great stay here. The location was perfect and just a short walk to the beach which made everything so easy. It was also a really good setup for bringing dogs which we appreciated.The host was very welcoming and helpful and made everything feel easy from the start. The place could use a little bit of updating but it was clean and comfortable and honestly you cannot beat the price for that location.The laundry is in the master bedroom closet which we did not realize until we were leaving but that was on us.We really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back.

The stay was o.k., although listed as pet friendly, there were issues that made staying with a pet a bit more trying. The kitchen cupboards are all at floor level and do not shut, consequently we needed to bungie cord them all shut so our cat did not crawl inside. We notified the host of our arrival time, never heard from them, but then again, I did not reach out for anything. The bathroom sink does not have a stopper, so we used paper towel over it in case something fell into the sink. The tile was not finished leaving a rough edge. The tile border in the kitchen floor was half broken, creating a possible tripping spot. The bedrooms felt clean and nicely furnished as was the living room.

The cottage felt like you were at home. It wasn't giving a commercial vibe but more of a home and relax vibe. The owners were very kind and the view is amazing.

Our first trip to Fernadina was wonderful . Bud was super friendly and had the place in great condition when we arrived. We loved being steps away from the beach with our two boys and pups !

Walls, floor and ceiling are buckling. Floor is so uneven, feels like a fun house. Was waiting for whole place to fall into garage below it. Location, view, and beach access awesome. Place is likely not structurally sound. Left early.

Little piece of heaven on the beach

Denis made us feel welcome, we loved the shabby chic mid century feel is perfect, amazing access to the beach. Denis recommended Sliders who had a live bad and great food. Happily recomend the cottage and hope to come back.

Amazing old school beach vibes with a view! 15/10

We absolutely loved our stay at this beachfront cottage and so did my dog! The views were incredible, when we weren’t on the beach, we were on the porch soaking it all in. You truly can’t beat the location or it's private beach access. The home felt so cozy and welcoming, like a place we’ve been coming to for years.Bud was an amazing host. He was friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to meet in person too. 15/10 experience. We’ll definitely be back next year for another very merry, beachy Christmas!

Cottage on the Beach

We loved our time here. The location is perfect, private and the view is fantastic. Very basic and yet everything is provided. We needed batteries for the remote and Bud was there within minutes to help us. He was very kind. This is our 2nd time staying here and I’m sure we’ll be back. Thanks for everything!

Awesome experience

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The view from the front door was absolutely gorgeous. The home was clean and efficient. It was so awesome to be able to just walk out the door and walk down to the beach on the private entrance walkway. Definitely worth it. And Definitely would love to return.

Cute Beach house

Can see the ocean from deck and big door windows! Can hear the waves hitting the beach, Can walk on boardwalk to ocean and enjoy the walk along the beach! So relaxing. Beach House has everything we needed and comfortable bed! dogs were enjoying their time too. Neighbors, owner... everyone so friendly and welcoming! We will be back!
