Enjoy your own private pool and unlimited wildlife, in the heart of all things San Antonio. Shopping, restaurants, LaCantera, Six Flags, golf, spas...YOU NAME IT...all just minutes from our house!

We have disclosed our rules and expectations in a rental agreement attached in the Additional Rules section.

DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!! This is truly a gem of San Antonio. This gorgeous, wooded property is a botanical paradise that backs up to 70 acres of private farm land. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching birds, deer and other wildlife. Or, stroll through the professionally landscaped yard and take in an array of flowers and trees never seen before in San Antonio. On your walk, grab a lemon from our very own citrus tree! All this in the heart of San Antonio! If you are wanting an "escape" on your vacation, but want to be close to all the action, then this is the home for you.

Our home is in a great location (Northwest side of San Antonio, just west of 1-10 and just south of 1604). It’s just 5 minutes from Six Flags and LaCanterra Golf Course and outdoor mall; 10-15 minutes from SEA WORLD and Lackland Air Force base, just minutes from groceries, stores, restaurants and anything you could ever need during your stay. The neighborhood was established in the 1980’s, and it’s been very well maintained. It’s quiet and family oriented, so we do ask guests to be respectful of that (NO PARTIES).

This is a gorgeous home, abundant with character that will last well after your stay! State-of-the-art kitchen with all the upgrades including granite counter tops and bay window with pool views. Living room walks out to private oasis with enormous pool, new state of the art hot tub to relax in year round, over-sized yard, and views of a 70-acre farm.

TV's- Main bd rm and 1 qn bd rm tv's have Fire sticks installed for you to use your own personal apps. Also included is IMDBTV which can be found on the home screen. This is free that includes movies and news. The family room has a smart tv where you can use your own apps.
THE FIREPLACE IS NOT OPERATIONAL.

Very relaxing ! Weather by the pool and spa or inside watching tv. Nice and super clean. Plenty of space and was a very nice quiet spot . Loved to watch the squirrels and birds in the back.

The pool was beautiful, loved that it was on a cul de sac and backed up to the open space. Lots of butterflies, hummingbirds and cardinals.

San Antonio vacation

We recently stayed at the house and it had a lot of space for everyone to have their quiet time. The girls enjoyed the pool every night and we did see the deer in the yard in the morning.On our first night there, we were going to grill and they were out of propane, we contacted the host and early the next morning, before 8am, they had come out to replace it. Appreciated the quick response.If we are in San Antonio again, we would rent this place. The neighborhood was very quiet and it’s on a culdesac, so the street doesn’t have any traffic. We felt safe and comfortable while staying here.

Relaxing Stay

We loved this house. We loved the quietness of the neighborhood. We loved that it is wooded and private in backyard. We did not use the hot tub, but the pool was great. Plenty of room for the 5 of us that swimmed. AC works great. Kitxhen and bathrooms have everything you will need. We love that they had fans for the bedrooms, as we forgot our personal fan. We loved watching the deer in the mornings. We will be back.

The house was clean and had the minimal things needed but lacked the homey, comfortable touches. The dining and breakfast area chairs were very uncomfortable and cold. The landscaping was overgrown and needed attention.

Backyard Oasis

The house is cozy and clean but we spent most our time in the backyard in the pool as there was a heat wave during our stay. Host was great with communication.

Amazing property

This property was perfect for our stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The grand kids loved the pool and hot tub. The wildlife and nature was so great to see in such a large town. The hosts were very responsive when I had questions. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Great San Antonio stay

Just spent 8 nights as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 10 and 8. The location of the house is fantastic and a great location to do all the tourist attractions-its in the middle of Six Flags and Sea World. Everything you need food wise is within easy distance. My kids loved the pool-its huge a bit cold as it's April but they then warmed up in the hot tub before going again!Both me and my partner are also walkers/runners. Just under a mile away on a walk is a trail path through a park which was a great wake up every morning and usually we ate the calories back eating donuts from Shipley's on the way back!It's a quiet cul de sac, not overlooked and has a feeder at the back where we saw deer multiple occasions as well as the birds. Communication with the hosts was effortless and cannot thank them enough for allowing us to stay!

Spring break

A beautiful home to stay in! Our granddaughters spent hours in the pool and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the cardinals, since we don’t have them in Wyoming, and the deer who walked through the backyard every morning. The 90 degree temperatures threw us a bit. We didn’t expect that as we still have snow at home.

Oct 24 stay

House was clean. Upstairs has been updated. Lower level shows its age. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Hot tub heating pump went out day we arrived but the property management had it repaired within 24 hours. Would stay again.

Home away from home

This was the best vacation we have had in years. The tranquil atmosphere of the backyard was the highlight of the property. The variety of wildlife like birds, butterflies, deer and foxes was exquisite. The pool was perfect to cool off after hot days. The property was in a quiet yet centrally located area to all attractions. The property was well maintained and perfect for our family's stay. The hosts were kind and attentive and easy to contact. We will stay here again for future trips to visit our daughter. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect family spot

It fit our purpose in all ways. The number of beds the large open space pool and hot tub were excellent !! It needs some improvements. New cushions outside, some broken items but overall it was an amazing vacation spot.

Could be a great place

Overall this property shows well in photos but the reality shows a lack of maintenance and repairs that we are hoping will be addressed with the owners. For example, deck by pool has many screws sticking up ready to gouge a foot or trip someone which seems like a safety hazard. The latticework and frames of the pergolas need repair and paint before they come down. The cookware was filthy and barely usable. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom has a large center indentation which causes you to roll to the middle. The neighbors were standing outside the house talking loudly at 2:30 am. The pool was great! The living room/entertainment area was good and the WiFi worked well. We still enjoyed our stay and hope that the owners will consider our feedback so that others can find their stays more pleasant in the future.

Beautiful home close to everything

This home was beautiful and well kept. The backyard is secluded and very peaceful. We saw several deer during our stay. We enjoyed the pool and the gazebo area for relaxation. Will definitely stay here again.
