3 bedroom home in the heart of Elkhart Lake! Perfect for your trip to Road America, PGA Tour, family reunion or summer vacation at the lake!

This single story home features three bedrooms with 5 beds. Master bedroom has a King, Bedroom #2 has a Twin over Full bunk bed (both Master and Bedroom #2 are located on the main floor of the home).
Bedroom #3* in the finished basement has a Queen bed. The main area of the finished basement offers two platform twin beds that can function as a sectional sofa or be pulled apart for additional sleeping space. Inflatable air mattresses are available upon request for even more sleeping options.
2.5 bathrooms guarantee a speedy morning for all. The laundry facilities are located on the first floor for convenient use.

Tastefully remodeled with hardwood floors, kitchen/bathroom tile and furniture. Eclectic artwork and one of a kind pieces throughout the home lend a personal feel.

A spacious kitchen with full refrigerator, gas stove/burners, dishwasher and all the utensils/cookware you will ever need. Lots of room at the dining table and comfy stools at the counter for the less formal meals.

Attached garage with parking for one vehicle. Plenty of off street parking as well. Why the Model T on the garage, you ask? That was a feature chosen by my Grandpa Chuck when the home was built in the 70's. It has become something of a landmark!

The best, finished ''retro" basement you have ever seen! Transport yourself back to the 1970's in the rec room downstairs that features a pool table, bar and console TV and quite possibly the coolest shag carpet, EVER!! No kidding! Well maintained and clean. (The rest of the home has been updated.)

The front porch is covered and is a great spot to sit and watch the sunset or have dinner for two, alfresco. The backyard is very private with mature hedges and trees all around. The flagstone patio is very large with plenty of space for dining, entertaining and relaxing. A charcoal grill is available for your BBQ/grilling needs.

About the town:

Elkhart Lake features fabulous restaurants that fit everyone tastes. Ask me for recommendations! Local shops offer everything from antiques, home goods, and local artwork to gourmet food and wine.

Elkhart Lake has crystal clear waters and sandy beaches that are perfect for swimming, boating and fishing. Water sport rentals are available nearby and public beach access is available at Fireman's Park for a minimal entrance fee.

Located minutes from Road America and premier golf courses. Sheboygan County was ranked third in the nation as golf destination by Golf Digest.

* Finished basement/bedroom is not listed under Tourist Rooming Permit as a bedroom. Sleeping area(s) DO NOT contain egress windows. Basement ONLY contains staircase exits. Guest are welcome to use these rooms but are aware that windows are not up to current egress codes and not covered under Tourist Rooming Permit.

awesome family-friendly rental

Bender Haus was perfect for our two families. Great location for park and ice cream runs and lunch at Off the Rail. Kids loved playing pool in the retro-tastic basement.

Road America

Stayed for Ferarri weekend at Road America. Place was so close to the town, we were able to walk around and sight see. Mandi was also very helpful with some last minute questions about the visit. Would recommend for both going to road America or just visiting Elkhart Lake!

All the amenities you need and in the perfect location!

I recently stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. The location is perfect - walking distance to everything but far enough from the bars that it is quiet at night. The house set up was perfect for a big group and it had everything we needed from beach towels, to a small cooler. The house set up would work nicely for either a family or group. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. It was comfortable, clean and updated. A nice getaway from city life.

The house was clean and where we needed it for a race weekend at Road America. It was an interesting mix of modern and vintage though with a contrast between the basement area (vintage) and the ground floor (mix of modern and vintage).

Super place to stay for a long weekend in Elkhart Lake

We were racing at Road America, so this house is super close to the track. It had lots of supplies compared to some places we have stayed at - toiletry & cleaning, spices, dishes, glasses, etc, and the beds were super comfy. It's a quiet neighborhood and easy to walk to the lake and restaurants. Loved the rabbits in the yard and the cardinal who kept flying into the garage window. Only thing left on my wish list would have been a bbq.

Perfect in Every Way

The home was extremely tidy and clean in addition to being welcoming. There were no "shortcuts" anywhere. The little things were done right: great HVAC, great water pressure, zero funky or odd odors... for a couple of examples.The decor is a fun blend of modern conveniences with a whimsical nod to nostalgia. The main floor is comfortable with spacious bedrooms and plenty of room to gather and relax. The basement is equally inviting and spacious, with amazing retro carpet and fun amenities to enjoy, like the pool table.The accomodations for access to the property were well planned and thoughtful. We could come and go with zero concerns about re-entry. I would stay here every race weekend if I could. Being located downtown made our time after races super easy and worry free. Only 3 minutes from Road America, we would end our day by just parking at the house and strolling the downtown area for the evening. Perfect!Mandi was cordial, welcoming and helpful whenever needed. She is a very good host.Don't hesitate to book this property. You cant be disappointed.

Charming Home - Excellent Location

My wife, father-in-law, and close friend had the opportunity to stay at this home for a race 'weekend' at Road America. The location was perfect - close to the track, local restaurants, and Elkhart Lake. My father-in-law had the opportunity to get up with the birds and raved about the excellent fishing, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her morning jog along the lake. The location was also very convenient to Road America. The home itself was well-maintained - even if some of the appliances reminded me of my childhood! - but everything was in perfect working order. The downstairs rec room was a blast from the past - but great amenities included a stereo, TV, and the all-important pool table. With three washrooms there was more than enough space for everyone - six people would be very comfortable. The owner was very pleasant, communicative, and accommodating - a definite plus! - and the overall experience was great. Highly recommended!

This house is right in Elkhart Lake. Everything in town is within walking distance. Very close to the race track, Road America which is why we were in town. The house was very, very clean and had a full-stocked kitchen. Everything in the house was nice and up to date. The owner communicated with me as needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to rent a nice house in Elkhart Lake. We never made it down to the lake but it was just a short walk to the shore. There are several restaurants to choose from, not a lot of shopping but the town itself has a lot of history to it. Many towns near by with diary's to tour and purchase great cheese and chocolate milk. It was a wonderful trip and we had four adults staying in the house. Two upstairs and two down stairs. A nice front porch to sit on and enjoy all the flowers planted.

Mandi has been a long time resident of the area and while she is currently living and working in other states, she still considers herself, 'An Elkhart Kid'. Mandi spent more than twelve years working for Siebkens Resort in Elkhart Lake. In fact, she most likely served you a drink, brought you your dinner, checked you into the hotel, or cooked your bratwurst at the track if you have been to Siebkens since 1998. She visits Elkhart whenever she can (which is never enough) and looks forward to the day when she can move back to the area permanently. Mandi hopes that you enjoy this home and all that Elkhart Lake has to offer just as much as she does.

This home belonged to Mandi's grandparents. It was built it in 1978. She always adored the property for its location and layout. It is so close to everything in town and the lake, but still has the perfect amount of privacy. It couldn't be easier to get to either. One left off Hwy. 67 and you are there!

If you have ever been to Elkhart Lake on Vintage weekend or the 4th of July you will quickly learn that parking is at a premium. This location has plenty of off street parking so you never have to worry!
