Welcome to Boardwalk Bungalow - 33A Boardwalk

Nestled on the Boardwalk just steps from the community swimming pool and a minute from Lake Eufaula!

Boardwalk Bungalow offers a prime location on Lower Boardwalk with a short walk to the boat dock and pool. A double set of french doors open onto a comfortable porch area with a lounge swing and chairs, perfect for watching the day go by.

Inside, an abundance of natural light and an open floor plan with tall ceilings offer the perfect space to entertain. Spend time in the open kitchen with honed marble counters and a large island with a farm sink. Just off the kitchen is a beautiful king-sized master suite complete with a TV and access to the porch. Walk-in shower and plenty of vanity storage.

Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, overlooking the living room below. The west bedroom offers a queen-size bed, and the east bedroom offers two (2) twin-size beds. The sleeping loft can be accessed through either bedroom and offers a twin-size daybed, perfect for an afternoon nap or stargazing through the bank of windows.

Enjoy the technology throughout the home including Sonos speakers, Roku- enabled TVs, Netflix, and Apple TV, and surround sound on the porch.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals.

Boardwalk Bungalow has 1 guest parking space, located on Center Lane South, behind the boardwalk. It is the third parking space under the carport, labeled "Boardwalk Bungalow". All additional vehicles can be parked in the parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only.
If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. Great location in the community! Every thing was even better than expected. Patio was spacious, kitchen and living were spacious and cozy/comfortable. Super clean and well equipped. Will sat here again.

Great Home, Great Community

We had a great time. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was amazing. A short walk to the pop up shops, food trucks, restaurants and lake activities. Wonderful home and community for a family trip.

First Visit to Carlton Landing

Stay was good, buy could have been better.

There is no charging station for golf cart. So with that being said, the company got a phone call from the town Mayor because we had no choice but to pull it up close to the house which you are not supposed to do. It got down to 23 degrees- the thermostat stayed on 66... it was very cold!!! The home itself could've had a some TLC. The curtains in the master were all coming off, so my husband took it upon himself to re-clip them. Things needed a good cleaning. There was also personal items (brush and hair spray) left on the bed upstairs. The home also needs some kind of way to watch TV. Options were only Hulu. We could not watch any of their TV due to parental restrictions. We couldn't even use our apps to watch anything. It made for a long weekend.

Cute and thoughtfully put together place. Overall we were happy with the cleanliness, especially the towels and sheets. These are the main issues we experienced while there: main level toilets draining slowly, sewage smell in master bath shower and stained carpets and rugs.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay in CL 2-3 times every summer and have always had wonderful property experiences but this rental was very disappointing. It was filthy and was lived in hard by owners. Stains on rug, dog pee stains on carpet and walls, missing pictures that were supposed to be hanging on walls, tv wires dangling out of wall, about 1/4 of the outlets worked in the house and the shower upstairs leaked into the bathroom downstairs. We found silverware and cheese wrappers at the bottom of dishwasher and crumbs/empty trash in kitchen drawers.

Girls Trip

My code did not work to get into the house so I called the emergency number but no one answered. After that, I texted the emergency number and they responded quickly with an emergency code. We finally got into the house and come to find out the toilets were not flushing. This could have been due to the heavy rain that was coming down outside but the toilets and hopefully the toilets were checked before we got there. The next morning the toilets were flushing just fine. Other than that, we have a nice relaxing experience at Carlton Landing.

Reviewer Comments: My heritage in this town of Eufaula goes back to the 1800s and now gir our visits Catlton Landing offers the perfect refuge.on this trip our pottery was perfect in design , location and comfort. Boardwalk Bungalow has a designers touch in all of the furnishings and architectural elements. The docks were perfect for catching fish and ther property is all a beautiful beautiful setting. The people are all great and overall.we just loved being there and cant wait to go back!!

Weekend Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 made a trip to Carlton Landing to enjoy a 3 day weekend. Our Boardwalk Bungalow was a short 5 minute walk to the lake. The pictures accurately depicted the accommodations which we were very pleased with. We had a little bit of trouble with the door keypad when we arrived but the hospitality office was quick to help. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing time away, Carlton Landing is your best bet. It rained on Sunday and it was so relaxing to lay in the swing on the front porch and listen to the rain hit the metal roof. We checked out the general store during our stay and grabbed lunch from there, food was good. We rented a golf cart from the store but it seemed to have a problem because the battery kept losing charge. The store didn't charge us for it so no biggie. If you're headed to CL, grab some groceries on the way, then let vacation begin.

It was listed as lakeview, which is definitely misleading. It was also in rough shape when we arrived, lots of scuffs and stains on the furniture and finishes. The layout is great for families or small groups and the kitchen and baths were well maintained. I'd consider staying here again if I find myself at lake eufala in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loud active construction right across the street. Most of the area is an active construction site starting at 7am. Multiple tries to contact the office were unanswered resulting in our departure by 11am to ensure we were out by a reasonable time. The only point of contact person did contact us back but 2 hours later stating she was having dental work done'. After telling us that our concerns were heard and higher powers had to be spoken to, I received an email stating our 2 additional nights would not be refunded. We would be credited for a return stay but only for 1 night. In short, we paid for 3 nights and only spend one leaving because of their issue and their delay in a response yet no refund issued and credited only 1 night. They did say that the construction is in the rental agreement but what is listed is "possible construction". I feel cheated and as if my money has been stolen from us. The concept is cool, no water views but still neat however they really should wait until all properties are finished or if knowing active construction is in one area refrain from renting that area out. If you want to not be able to sit on the porch since loud saws and hammering exist then rent away, but now construction aside, the way they handled our experience has me questioning the morals and ethics of this place. It is a very pompous presumption that my husband and I are not a sort of people that could have an influence on their business. Poorly done Carlton Landing. Poorly done!

For anyone who is looking for a vacation with us at Carlton Landing, we would like to inform you that construction activity is a daily certainty in Carlton Landing, weather permitting, as we are a growing town. All builders in Carlton Landing have agreed to limit their construction activity to the hours of 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:30 am to 5 pm on Saturday. Outside or noisy construction activity is prohibited on Sunday and major holidays. Construction activity has been considered when setting our published rates and there will be no refunds or discounts given due to the status of construction near the Vacation Home. We encourage you to read through our full Vacation Rental Policy provided before booking is confirmed. Please feel free to call us at 918-452-2205 with any questions concerning the stage of construction around your Vacation Home before making a reservation or accepting the Rental Policies. Prior to your check-in we will provide you with a hospitality phone number and an emergency hospitality phone number. Our hospitality phone voicemail is checked periodically through out the day and your call or request will be addressed within a few hours. In the event of an emergency, including an early departure, we encourage you to call our emergency line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Boardwalk Bungalow is beautifully appointed - bright, cheerful, and lovely everywhere you look. You can see the lake from the porch, and easily walk to the dock, the general store, the pool, and other amenities. The staff was always helpful and accessible. We also met several permanent residents during our stay, and each encounter was friendly and welcoming; we felt completely at home. A perfect getaway!

The management staff welcomed us upon arrival and provided helpful information for our stay. We enjoyed the community bikes and kayaks and visits to the general store. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The only setback we encountered was one toilet was not working properly, and based on the two plungers left next to it, I don't believe this was a new problem. Overall I highly recommend a visit!
