Charming Michigan City Cottage

Enjoy a getaway steps from Lake Michigan's Sheridan Beach in this cozy cottage that is great for quiet comfort, family fun, a romantic getaway, or a weekend with close friends. There are many activities nearby including Washington Park Marina/Park/Zoo, Sheridan Beach, Blue Chip Casino, Lighthouse Premium Place Outlets, and downtown Michigan City restaurants, all a short walk or bike ride away. The area also has several wineries and breweries. Additionally, for those wanting to enjoy concerts, sporting events or a day trip exploring Chicago, the South Shore Line now offers a 67-minute train to Chicago from 11th Street in Michigan City, which is approximately two miles from the cottage.

The beach is just a five minute walk from the front door. We provide a beach wagon, two beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, a cooler, a few ice packs, and some sand toys for your enjoyment.

The serene back patio is surrounded by trees and is great for relaxing in the evenings. A grill is provided but please clean this after use.

The charming house features 1 queen bed in the primary on the main floor and two double beds in the upstairs loft. There is one full bathroom with a shower. A hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are provided for your convenience. The home has a television with a Roku for you to log in to watch your streaming services. We also have WiFi and a small selection of books to borrow for your next good read.
