Hilltop Happiness is a charming 1940s beach cottage perched on a hill in Michigan City’s beloved Sheridan Beach neighborhood. Painted a cheerful yellow inside and out, the home is filled with sunshine, coastal touches, and a relaxed lakeside vibe from the moment you arrive.
This cozy retreat features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to four guests. The main level includes a king bedroom and a double bedroom, a full hallway bath with shower, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living room with a smart TV. Just off the kitchen, step onto the deck to enjoy outdoor dining, fire up the BBQ, and take in elevated views - especially beautiful at sunset.
The lower level offers a bonus full bathroom with shower, and laundry facilities, perfect for spreading out after a day at the beach. Community stairs provide easy access down the hill to street level, making trips to Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan simple and convenient.
Outside, you’ll love the adorable fenced front yard with classic white picket fencing. The location is ideal: walk to the beach, Washington Park Zoo, the marina, and enjoy nearby festivals, concerts in the park, and all that Michigan City has to offer.
Please note, this home offers open street parking, which is unreserved. Additional parking is located at the bottom of the beach stairs.
