My sister and I had a great stay here. The apartment is in a great location. Itā€™s so close to central park and the Subway and for being in the city, it felt pretty quiet. We both had plenty of space and the apartment was comfortable and clean. They hosts were very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. The instructions were simple and clear to follow. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful brownstone on Central Park west. It was amazing to wake up to sunlight peeping through pre-war bay windows. Subway is right around the corner. Nice and quiet street. Felt very safe! Will definitely book again.

Girls Trip Retreat

Canā€™t say too much about how convenient the location is, subway one block away and Central Park just across the street. Restaurants are very close on Columbus and Amsterdam. Apt was very clean.

The Perfect Stay!

Perfect location for medical appointments at Columbia Univ Med Center. Everything as advertised, beautiful, comfy, cozy apartment, excellent support from host. Safe neighborhood with nearby conveniences and right by Central Park. Great location close to the main attractions of Manhattan, It was perfect for us!

A perfect base for visiting New York with kids

We had a great stay in this studio apartment in New York. It was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with Central Park just a short walk away - a dream for families with kids! We had 3 adults and 2 kids staying together and the space worked well for us. The subway was also nearby, making it easy to get around the city. Communication with the host was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a great base for exploring NYC. We'd definitely recommend it!

Great location

Both beds were comfortable, plenty of room for the three of us. We loved having an ice maker and filtered water in the refrigerator. The space was as listed. Ceiling height on the loft is quite low but wasnā€™t a problem.

My new go to place. Absolutely best stay Iā€™ve ever experienced. Over sized studio with separate sleeping loft. Kitchen set up for lengthy stays with every conceivable cooking utensil. Entire unit temperature controlled. Super safe and quiet neighborhood. Short walk to everything from shopping to subway and amuses. Excellent pro active host available 24/7.

Great location

This property is in a great location. The property itself is old but tidy and the stairs to the loft are difficult to navigate (the roof in the loft is low too, lucky I was short). The sheets were worn, the bed cover had stains and the entry to the property is not well looked after The toilet overflowed one morning and was fixed later that day.

Overall it was okay. Good facilities, convenient location, a few minutes walk to the subway. Feedback from the landlord was very prompt and courteous. However, it was very noisy, not only with frequent sirens outside the room but also with poor soundproofing inside the room. Every night we fell asleep to the sound of footsteps and inexplicable metal pipe noise from upstairs.

Perfect in every way! Location is hard to beat. Two minute walk to the subway station - getting around everywhere was super easy; Two minute walk to Central Park - great for exercise walks, etc. two major museums AMNH & MET are a short walking distance away; safe, clean & quiet neighborhood, we slept very well.Inside the apartment: Very clean! It's a small studio with a loft, but it feels very roomy, especially for NY standards. Murphy bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of room if you prefer to leave it down. Appliances and all kitchen necessities were clean and in good working condition. The upstairs loft is a very nice addition, especially for kids, as the height of the loft ceiling and the circular staircase leading up to it is more fitting for short people. Communication was excellent. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. We didn't have any issues, but it was very comforting to have her on standby.Overall - we were very pleased with our stay at this studio apartment and will definitely consider renting it again when we're back.

Never made it to the property

Host notified me with less than 24 hours notice that property was unavailable, offered another property that really far away. I contacted her about a listing for a closer property that was still showing as available and, although VRBO notified me my request was accepted, she got back to me well after check-in time that we couldn't get that property either. Really unhappy with the customer service and "bait and switch" tactics employed by this property manager

Amazing apartment, great location, wonderful hosts

This place was fantastic! It was spacious and welcoming. It was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. Honestly, the description and pics do not do it justice!The location was awesome - literally around the corner from the AC/B stop. The 123 stop is also a short walk away. If you want to go for a walk in Central Park, it's right there!The hosts were also amazing. Whether it's on the app, via text, or in-person, this entire host team is so communicative, so accommodating, so welcoming, so caring, so kind. Truly, you could not ask for better hosts!A bit of advice for guests in the winter - the AC/Heating units must be set to the same mode, or else they won't work. There's a unit in the upstairs loft, and another in the main living room. If both are on, they have to be in the same mode (auto, heat, cool, or fan) in order to work properly, or else you'll get an error.

HOUSE RULES:
1.ā  ā The Guest is strictly prohibited from transferring, assigning, or delegating this contract to any other parties. Additionally, the guest cannot sublet the apartment, lend equipment, or introduce additional occupants without the explicit approval of the Host.

2.ā  ā Replacement charges for lost or stolen apartment keys stand at $100 per key.

3.ā  ā Should the Guest leave the unit before the contracted period concludes, they are liable for full rent until the end of the term. Until the contract term concludes, the guest is ineligible to receive any rent payments from Host as previously approved.

4.ā  ā The Guest pledges to maintain the apartment and its equipment in impeccable condition and promptly notify Host of any flaws or issues. Should flaws arise due to unreasonable use, the Guest shall bear the cost of repairs upon Host's request, immediately after rectification. The guest agrees not to drill holes or affix items to unit walls.

5.ā  ā The Guest agrees not to affix signs or names to the apartment entrance door.

6.ā  ā The guest commits not to engage handyman services.

7.ā  ā The Host commits to addressing damages or faults during the rental period, responding to guest requests in a timely manner. The Host retains the discretion to assess the necessity of repairs and may postpone them to a suitable time.

8.ā  ā Both parties affirm that the Guest's renter's insurance does not cover the Guest's private property.

9.ā  ā The Guest pledges to grant the Host or its representative access to the unit during reasonable hours, with advance notice, for repairs, maintenance, or showings.

10.ā  ā Upon lease termination, the guest is obligated to vacate the property and return it to Host in the same pristine condition received.

22.ā  ā In the event of Guest contract violations or time overruns, the Host or its representative holds the right to void the contract and demand immediate vacation of the unit.

23. Please remember to use only toilet paper in the bathroom. Do not dispose of paper towels, feminine products, or flushable wipes. If any issues occur, we reserve the right to charge a $500 repair fee, as emergency plumbing costs can be around $1,000.
