Great Place in Paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great unit - amazing beach view, conveniently located near the first pool and well stocked. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, silverware, plates and glasses.

RELAXING!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was very nice. Unit was clean and comfortable. Staff was awesome. Unfortunately red tide was still around so we stayed off the beach. The pool was great so we hung out there! Morning was about the only time you could be at the beach before the winds picked up and the red tide bothered us. Over all it was terrific, and wished it could have been a longer stay. The view from our unit was very nice, close to the beach and pool.

Great experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time , At the resort , only two things we had issue with we thought from the pictures the unit had two kings beds .. But we noticed when we arrived the guest room had twin beds .. And in the pic shows a king .. but that didn’t bother us , Also you might wanna have the stove looked at or replaced i it was 25 degrees off any set temp , So 400 would only get to 375 .. But we had a great stay ..

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the feel of Palm Island and were very happy with the activities set up with Chris (beach sports, smores by the fire and scavenger hunt). However, we were disappointed with the apartment that we stayed in during our stay. The apartment was not very clean, furniture was not clean and not set up nicely. The linens were not sufficient. Things in the apartment were messy and not organized in their right places. We would definitely appreciate some recommendations on other apartments on the island of top quality.

Great Time!

Perfect Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had THE BEST time! Palm Island Resort is an amazing place to vacation. Beautiful resort that is so tranquil. Having the pool and the beach is the perfect combination along with no cars is awesome! We parked our car and traded it in for a golf cart... so nice. We paddle boarded and checked out shark beach. On the way, we saw manatee, dolphin, flying fish, and a sea turtle!!! My daughter was so happy to be “in nature”. We will definitely be coming back. My wife said we found our new vacation spot! Loved it!!! The condo was really nice too!

The only suggestion is to restrict golf cart parking not to block walk ways. Several times we hav to maneuver through flower beds with beach equipment. Very difficult. See you next year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really good time and the villa was very nice. The owners need to allow more space in the closets for guests. I would also recommend upgrading the linens in the master. But overall very nice and comfortable. We had rain during our stay and the front area of the villa remained muddy. More shell needs to be added to this area. Villa location is very convenient with a great view. Super clean!

As Floridians we have stayed at many other places in Florida, but we really feel that Palm Island is our favorite place for rest and relaxation. The staff makes you feel so welcome and appreciated. Ultra Relaxing Vaca

Ocean view - with great ocean wave "sound machine" every night (aka can hear the beautiful sound of the ocean from condo). Steps from beach, steps from pool. Airy, clean, all of the amenities we needed for a relaxing vaca. Could use new pillows on all beds. Had to purchase beach towels, but found for $7 at Walmart. All in all exactly the place/vaca we needed!

Amazing wedding weekend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got married at Palm Island this weekend and it was magical! The resort is great, quiet, private and so picturesque! The staff was wonderful! We really enjoyed our unit, and many other guest units were beautiful. Some are in dire need of updating, but the ability to see the units online is so helpful! We enjoyed the golf carts. I feel like you really need to rent them otherwise you can’t easily get around the island unless you walk a lot. Only negative about our unit was the closets were really full and minimal space to hang stuff. They could consolidate their belongings a bit more and it would be helpful to guests. Otherwise, it was pretty much perfect! This was definitely the first of many trips!!

Perfect relaxing Getaway

DONT DO IT!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let's see, where do I begin! First, when we checked into our original condo, the aroma of a men's urinal was overwhelming! Two hours later, we finally where upgraded to a condo that met our criteria! It was my birthday weekend, so we decided to have dinner at the Rum Bay restaurant. Needless to say, that was a nightmare as well! Our server was rude, kurt, and had a personality of oh let's see, an oyster! Next, we went to the gift shop to restock our drinks for the next 24 hours, since we were checking out the following day and did not want to make a trip off the island to visit Publix. It was closed! The hours of operation stated clearly they were open until 6pm. It was 5:20pm. Then, it was check out day. I was phoned by the front office asking "are you still here, because check out was at 11am". My time was 11:33. Our washer in our condo was stuck on a cycle that would not allow us to stop that cycle, which we clearly made the office aware that we were simply waiting on that cycle to complete! The office then stated "I will send the bell hop now". Basically being "kicked out" of our condo! So the bell hop showed up at our condo, barely said hello, and never said anything else after the original "hello"! We went to the office, turned in our keys. When given a brochure for our "return visit", I informed them we would not be back. The only response we received was "I'm sorry". No effort was made whatsoever to assure our return. This island has been our haven for nearly 12 years due to the excellent customer service in the past. Clearly that is not the case this visit. I'm going to assume this company is under new management. The prior management would not have tolerated this behavior. Needless to say my family will not be returning to this resort. Sadly the management had no concern for the above issues other than to say "thank you for bringing that to my attention". Sadly my family has no desire to return!
