Beautiful view of the lake. We really enjoyed spending time relaxing and enjoying the area. Looking forward to our next trip to the finger lakes. The host was very prompt and the house was well stocked with the essentials to make it easy to enjoy.

This house was perfect for our family! Everything was clean and comfortable and the location couldn’t be beat. I appreciated the extra toilet paper, coffee and tea supplies and even beach towels, which was totally unexpected. The only odd thing was the parking situation (we had 3 cars, including a minivan), but we were able to take advantage of the overflow parking by the road, which was fine. We definitely will consider this property when we come again.

Family time

Beautiful scenery. My husband and I stayed on the second floor (we're too old for the stairs) and my son and his wife stayed on the first floor, so we each had some privacy. Relaxing on the deck was so peaceful. It was so nice being with family in such a lovely setting.

I think the house was OK. I think for the price, it was well overpriced. In hindsight, I think the house was basically a 3000 house for the week. We paid 4k. The house was OK in terms of his cleanliness, but the furniture was old. The family room and kitchen furniture was uncomfortable to sit on. The house definitely need some serious updates. The downstairs bath was awkward and the toilet was extremely small. Also, the way the air conditioning worked, if the upstairs was comfortable, the downstairs was an ice box. , if the upstairs was comfortable, the downstairs was an ice box. So we were constantly having to play with the temperature in order to get the downstairs to be reasonable. The deck was completely full of bugs and spiderwebs. Despite the complaints, it was a decent house. I just don’t think it was worth even close to 4000 for five full days.

Overall, we had a very good experience at this property. The house is nice, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, and the location is excellent. It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed our time there.A few things could be improved. The front yard grass was quite overgrown, which unfortunately gave the impression that the property was not well maintained. The backyard could also benefit from some regular upkeep.Additionally, we were excited to use the kayaks, but they had not been maintained. They were very dirty and had things growing inside them, so we had to spend about 30 minutes cleaning them before they were usable.With a little more attention to the outdoor maintenance and recreational equipment, this property could offer an even better guest experience. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend it for its location and overall comfort.

Unfortunately, this time of year the grass can grow very quickly between landscaping visits, but we understand how that can affect first impressions. We will certainly review the timing of our lawn service and address the backyard upkeep as well. We also apologize for the condition of the kayaks. They are outdoor amenities and can accumulate dirt, pollen, and debris throughout the season, but they should have been in better condition for your arrival. Easy to find along a quiet lake. Upon entering you will notice you are tightly packed in with other cottages. Parking is difficult if you have a large vehicle or more than one. As you enter the lake house you get hit with a strong wet dog smell that lingers through the entire house. The sliding glass doors are amazing however so dirty you couldn’t see out them, we cleaned a few. The kitchen is fully stocked which was very nice, with updated appliances. Beds were clean and comfortable. Along with the rental we had kayaks and a dock to use for the weekend. 10am the next morning not even a full day our morning coffee was interrupted by a dock removing crew. They called the owner (knowing we rented the
