This single family home is nestled among the birch trees in the Bolton Valley Ski Area. 3 bedrooms (Queen size beds in 2 rooms & 2 bunk beds in the 3rd) 2 baths (1 up & 1 down), 2 large living areas, laundry room, full kitchen with a gas range, dishwasher & microwave + an extra large covered porch that overlooks the valley.
The resort offers an OFF road driving school, great hiking, and a unique swimming hole for summer fun.
For the winter ... a ski in/ski out experience. Radiant heat and extra large hot water heater makes for a warm comfortable night after a day of skiing. The resort offers 3 peaks for alpine skiing and 1900 acres of cross country trials. If you are staying in, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything to make meals, streaming on the smart TV and games to keep everyone busy.

Direct TV, Wifi, Phone and Internet included.
Bolton is 20 minutes to Downtown Burlington and Lake Champlain and 35 minutes to Stowe Mountain Resort. Fireplace is not available at this time.

The cabin is beautiful! The rooms were spacious, and we had more than enough beds to accommodate the 6 of my family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed to cook meals. Location was great!

Large, welcoming space for families to spread out with different seating areas made this a great place to relax after skiing. The living area was bigger than I expected from the photos. We had fun checking out the house games at the large kitchen table. The walk to the slopes is up the road about 50 yards to a road on the left with a large utlity building. Down that road and up another short hill and you are on your way!

Great Get Away

Great house with great location

Ski Weekend

Nice place for a family ski weekend

Cozy house on the slopes of BV. Short walk gives you access to the slopes. Well equipped kitchen and responsive owners. Will stay with Tim and Vicky again.

Great stay visiting Bolton Valley

Went as two families of four and had a great time. perfect set up - kids loved bunk room, grown ups appreciated comfortable beds and lots of space. Cozy and welcoming. Kitchen was so well stocked, which made making meals together easy. Kids loved the sleds, too :) we’d stay again happily!

Wonderful Stay

The accommodations were great and just like described. Bolton Valley is a family friendly mountain with great trails and lots of glades. This property is on the side of the Timberline Trail. You can make it a ski-in and out if you don’t mind hiking a little. Or just drive right down the road and park. We hope to be back!

Wonderful-comfortable home nestled in the Vermont Ski resort of Bolton Valley

This was a great cozy house for our family getaway to share some fun times and ski together! The home had a few different spaces for our group to gather, play games, watch TV and spend time together when we weren't out on the slopes.

Bolton Valley Ski Trip

The house is great and the location is fantastic! We only had the minor challenge of getting to the ski trail with all the recent snow. Skiing back to the house was amazing and we would definitely go back!

Great location

We had a great time skiing at Bolton Valley. The house was plenty big enough for our family. It is a 2 minute ride to the base lodge. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway Spot!

The cabin/house was wonderful. Check in and out process was detailed and communicated timely. The owner was very professional and went above and beyond with communication and recommendations for our stay. The cabin was large enough for our family to spread out and enjoy our stay. Would return in a heartbeat, thank you for everything!

The property was quite nice but needs a little attention. The grill was unusable due to how dirty it was and there was a very large mouse nest inside. The house had very few screens on the windows. This might be a normal thing in Vermont. I’m not sure.The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the house was clean.The owner was very easy to work with and was prompt when the WiFi didn’t work and when the power went out

Our only regret is not booking this house for longer.

The Hillhouse was comfort and coziness at the highest level. Seamless check-in/check-out process. Amenities and location were perfect. Hosts, Tim & Vicky were very helpful/responsive. My father, fiancée and friends had a great time. Bolton Valley certainly never disappoints! Highly recommend this rental to any group with 5-6 people. Thanks again!

Absolute GEM!

We had the BEST stay at this ski house. The owner was so communicative throughout the process, there were no surprises. I have never stayed in such a well-stocked rental before. It absolutely didn't feel like a rental--it felt more like a very well taken care of home that your friend was letting you use. It has EVERYTHING in the kitchen that you could need which is a huge plus when you're making all your meals in. Extremely clean. Ideal location right on the slope. We have already booked for next year! And Bolton Valley is such an awesome mountain. Very family friendly!

Family Ski Trip

Family Ski Trip! The ski in-out for this property is a bit challenging (thru the woods) and can't be attempted by a novice skier. You have to hike up a couple hundred yards to ski-out and access the trail and to ski-in you have to ski down thru the woods. It was fine, just not ideal or simple. This is the situation for many of the homes on the trails.

Spring Skiing

Very enjoyable stay at this well situated post and beam home at Bolton Valley. Each evening of our stay we were treated to a beautiful sunset from the living room and deck. The house was spacious yet had a cozy feel. Loved the radiant heated floors. Plenty of sleeping options for our group of seven. Lots of room to spread out with 2 separate living rooms as well. The kitchen was adequate but lacked some of the everyday necessities one would expect. We took advantage of the access trail above the house both ski days. The short climb is worth the effort of not having to drive to a base lodge.

Super charming house

Our group of 4 kids and 5 adults spent 5 nights at the house with 4 days of skiing at Bolton Valley. The house was perfect, super charming with its beautiful architecture and so cozy with heated floors in the kitchen and living areas. The house's two living areas on the main level was perfect for our group. For skiing- we were able to forage a footpath up the hill right behind the home to access the Lower Villager run and even when the Timberline lift was closed, we were able to trek a bit down to access the path down to the Vista Quad. This was very convenient and so much more fun than driving up to the lodge. This was our fourth annual trip to Bolton and first time in this house. All in all, great accommodations and access to the slopes. The Owner was very helpful and easy to work with.
