Great house for our family, and close to lots of shops and restaurants - Stowe was 35 minutes. House was clean, functional, and comfortable. Would stay again and would refer people here. We really appreciate detailed reviews when I am choosing a home to rent for our family, so just to be clear there are 3 actual bedrooms, each with a queen bed. 2 upstairs, and 1 downstairs. The other sleeping spaces are a futon in the middle of the downstairs- not private, and kinda cold at night since it was not in room, and then a set of bunk beds tucked into an alcove downstairs; also not private, kinda cold, no door - as the description says. Also - there are not enough towels and blankets in the house for the number of people it states it can sleep, so bring extras. There are minimal bath mats on cold, wet floors - something we always appreciate. The toilet paper situation was also thin and scratchy -- something about 'Vermont plumbing' was on the sign.....but it worked out. Kitchen worked great - lovely gas stove -no issues. Plenty of hot water for everyone to get hot showers after ski days! The plowing service and dependable warm garage and automatic were so fantastic when we had so much snow; we rally appreciated having the driveway plowed!
