Spectacular Mullett Lakefront Vacation Home

A premiere northern Michigan home situated on a large one acre wooded lot with over 100 feet of frontage on Mullett Lake, part of Michigan's inland waterway that accesses Burt Lake, Crooked Lake and Lake Huron. This beautiful 5 bedroom plus loft, 4500 square foot lakefront home is ideally located on the eastern shore of Mullett Lake. Its shallow beach with gradual incline offers a perfect location for families to enjoy swimming, boating, jet skiing, tubing and water skiing. The home is located within a large quiet bay of the 11 mile long and 4 mile wide Mullett Lake. A large dock with deck area is the perfect place for sunbathing, swimming and enjoying beautiful sunsets.
A large boat hoist with equipped with an electric boat lift is also available for boaters.

A two story, natural wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of the beautiful open floor plan with the great room, kitchen and dining areas that enjoy wonderful lakefront views. The gourmet kitchen is ideal for gathering and entertaining with its separate wet bar and ice-maker.
The large first floor master suite includes a spacious master bath with a jacuzzi, separate shower and walk in closet. French doors lead to a wrap around deck that runs the length of the home overlooking the lake. A sunroom located off the large dining room offers great sunset views.

Four large bedrooms and a loft with sleeper sofa are located on the second level. All bedrooms open out to the Great Room located below. The fourth bedroom on the second level has two queens, two doubles, and two singles which is ideal for children and teens.

The lakeside 'front yard' is level and ideal for playing volleyball, badminton, croquet and, of course, sunbathing!

Very nice home on the perfect lake!

My family and I stayed at this rental this summer for a week. The home sits on a nice private lot with beautiful woods. Its kind of off the beaten path but loved having the privacy! The house itself has an open floor plan which worked perfectly for us. The layout is spacious and clean. There is a large bonus room where all the kids and their cousins slept which made them all happy! The lake is simply gorgeous! The water is crystal clear and not to deep for the children to wade out into the water. Hoping to book again next summer and hoping the weather will be as awesome as this last trip!

What a wonderful vacation home!

Our family enjoyed yet another vacation on Mullett Lake largely impart to this amazing home. Its spaciousness met the needs of our growing family, which includes various ages. Upon arrival we found a very clean home that was thoroughly prepared for us. We felt at home right away. The large yard was perfect for different family activities. The dock gave ready access to our boats and many fun-filled water adventures. The owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. This home helped make our 2018 vacation one to remember.

Wonderful summer lake vacation spot!

Perfect spot for our family's summer reunion! All 11 of us fit nicely into the house. It was clean, well maintained and a great location for Northern MI. The swimming was amazing - perfect location for both young and old. We hope to go back!

This is truly a home away from home! The location was perfect with a beautiful waterfront; amenities were first rate. Plenty of room for all. Would recommend this property for a wonderful family vacation getaway.

Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about this wonderful private home on the lake get-away! Everything was perfect from the accommodations to the fantastic weather. So for us, it was hard to leave this beautiful sanctuary of rest, relaxation and fun on the water. We enjoyed every aspect of this home. The kitchen, the family room, screened in porch, the outside deck...it was all wonderful! We especially enjoyed the master suite. It's a sweet little private area separate from all other bedrooms in the home with a lovely jacuzzi tub and private sliding glass door entrance to the outside deck. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed watching the sun go down seated right outside our room. Whether you come with a large family ready to play on the lake or to just simply unwind and relax like we did, this place is perfect for all the above! The lake is beautiful and crystal clear with lots of safe swimming areas right at the end of the lawn. We also enjoyed local shopping and site seeing in Cheboygan, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island since its only about a 15-30 min drive to these cities. It was perfect and we look forward to going back!

A beautiful spot on Mullett Lake

We spent the first week of June at this beautiful property on Mullett Lake. The owner was gracious enough to give us an eighth night at no additional cost as he realized we had a special birthday that necessitated a Friday rental. A large combined space of a living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen, with huge windows facing the lake, was where our family spent many wonderful hours. (We spotted bald eagles from this spot.) As it was chilly while we were there we were able to take advantage of all the firewood that was left for us. As there was a large dock, we were able to rent a pontoon boat from a nearby marina and enjoyed life on the lake, the Indian River and Burt Lake. It was wonderful. We did have some maintenance issues. We could only get 2 of the burners on the gas stove to work. And each of the three showers had such serious dripping problems that if you didn't put the shower curtain into the shower after you turned the shower off, the floor outside would flood. In one case this had already caused serious damage to drywall and flooring. I have brought these problems to the attention of the homeowner, both during and after our stay. This is a beautiful property in a beautiful spot. The town of Petoskey is nearby and is a great place to visit.

Our home is located off a private drive and has direct access to one of the best bay areas of Mullett Lake. The home has many unique features, including a large great room, gourmet kitchen, large dining room, sunroom/porch and large bedrooms that have differing views of the Lake. The open floor plan makes it enjoyable for large families and groups of friends. There is also a 'lookout tower' with fantastic views of the Lake.
