Things to know prior to booking your stay: The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. There are no elevators at the Seas Cabins. Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay! Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass. The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round. No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!
Enter the third floor condo and you'll love the stylish look, with sleek flooring and a small built-in in the hallway. A full bathroom offers shower-tub combo, and from there the hallway continues onto the open concept kitchen and living space. Please note the Sea Cabin building does not have an elevator.
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a refrigerator, microwave, a coffee maker, and more! High-quality appliances make cooking easy, and a cute counter with three bar stools offers additional seating to the two-seater dining set. The living space is furnished with a convenient pull-out sofa bed for more sleeping space. There's also an additional cushy chair, and a mounted flat screen TV with cable access. Sit and relax with your loved ones and watch your favorite shows, or even put on the TV while you're cooking meals in the kitchen. As another perk, this home offers free Wi-Fi!
From the living area, you can journey out onto the balcony. From here you can gaze at the Atlantic in the distance, wake up early to take in an ocean sunrise, and spend your afternoons indulging in the ocean breeze. With several seats, this area is an excellent spot to enjoy the outdoors without ever leaving your condo. Back inside, you'll find the bedroom, which is furnished with a king-sized bed and its own desk with a light-up mirror, perfect for getting ready for a night out!
When you stay at Sea Cabins, you get more than just ocean views! You'll also have access to the community amenities such as the shared pool and private fishing pier. You'll never be more than a quick walk to the beach and will find everything you could need or want within walking distance. If you're looking for the perfect little beachy escape on Isle of Palms, you've found it! The Sea Cabin condo is 490 sq ft - we recommend no more than 4 guests.
The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and also have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are centrally located right on Ocean Blvd which is a great location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Beach Shopping, the county park, ice cream shops, island night life, and more! The Sea Cabin Condominiums each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves. Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, fantastic dining, ice cream shops, nightly entertainment, grocery store, and post office are a short walk from the complex.
Bed Layout: Bedroom has a king bed. There is a queen sofa bed in the Living Room.
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

A cute sea cabin perfect for the 2 of us. Beautiful sandy beach right in front of our balcony and easy walking distance. We were in town for the shipyard park baseball tournament for our grandson so they also enjoyed the beach in the morning before the games. Highly recommend for a stay on the beach.

Great time! Great communication with host, loved the view and beach access, sleeping arrangements felt clean. Pull out sofa was not the comfiest for me, but the other guest with me liked it! Had enough in the kitchen to where we could make meals. Large TV, and the balcony was nice. Overall really really good experience. Beware of stairs, but wasn’t a problem at all for my group.

A perfect spot for a getaway for a couple! Walking distance to bars and restaurants and a short drive to lots of local attractions. The beach and pier access was great and the beach was never overcrowded. My favorite part was the balcony. The only thing I wish it had was a hot tub!

Excellent view, clean, easy check in
This was our first time in South Carolina and the room was perfect. Just enough sun and sand, a beautiful deck to listen to the waves, easy check in and out. The pier is right outside the building and the beach is fairly quiet. Perfect way to experience the charleston area!

Sea Cabins 5 day stay
Wonderful, pre-summer get away for wife and me. Loved private pool and private walkways to beach and pier. Nice restaurants and shopping close by. Do wish that smoking was prohibited on grounds, as smokers on balcony next door ruined our balcony relaxation.

Very great location and space
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo!! It was a beautiful space with updated amenities and everything was very clean and well kept. I only took a star off because communication with the owner could have been slightly better. Overall, we loved the stay and management was understanding of our requests!

As advertised. Great location with nice view and excellent beach access. Perfect size for two of us. It says max occupancy of 6. I could see 4 sharing the space, though crowded. Can’t imagine six!We had no communication with the property manager, so ignore that rating.

The location and view were amazing and the condo is clean, nicely decorated with up to date appliances. The view is beautiful! The wifi was not working for the last half of the stay and we had to use our mobile carriers hot spot, which caused additional fees for us. The bedroom had very little room other than for the bed and was difficult to get in and out of.

Beautiful Ocean View
It is a beautiful little condo! We loved the full kitchen and that we could cook meals. We also loved the short walk to the beach, the pier and the pool. You could hear the waves from the condo all day! So relaxing. It’s also close to walk to restaurants on Isle of Palms and ice cream! Walking distance to the grocery store too. We stayed 6 nights. The only things we would change is the management only gave two rolls over toilet paper for 6 days for two people. We had to pick up more when we had two days left. I also wish it had a deadbolt lock, along with the handle lock. Otherwise, great! They also provided great communication about check-in and out procedures. We would stay here again!

The unit was more dated & much smaller than expected. Somehow they put a king bed in a room with only inches to spare on either side making it all but impossible to climb into bed from the sides. It was comfortable and linens were good though. One side of sofa (without an arm) backed up to refrigerator side. The view and accessibility to the beach, pier and pool was a good - although we did not see a sunrise or sunset from the balcony due to the Shape of the condos. The balcony door lock was broken but shortly after calling on Sunday, they sent someone who at least provide a "balcony stick"to keep it secure .

This is a good example about customer expectations. The property is old and tired with miminal upkeep. Thus many of the bad reviews, however knowing this from reviews, I valued the quiet but well located aspects. Close to everything extremely spacious interior, private small outdoor smoking coutyard and it is at a very good cost. The host Paul is wonderful and walkable from train station. If you worry about scuffed floors, chipped walls or bad caulking on tub, this is not your place. I however value the basics more.Tips - key in door needs to be pulled out a smidge to work, bed is 2 singles push together, Jumbo grocery is 3 min walk. Bring cd's if you want music (think it works?), well equipped kitchen.

Carroll Realty is the property management company chosen by the homeowner and requires that their rental agreement be signed prior to occupying the property.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited.
Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
