We do have a security camera placed on the front side of the cabin for your safety only, this camera is pointing down the driveway only and will not affect your privacy at our cabin at all.


If you are looking for rest and relaxation, nature, a chance to getaway from it all, then this is the place. But, remember, there are no street lights, no sirens, no honking horns. Be ready to kick back , have a cup of coffee, a beer, whatever suits you. Leave the stress behind and enjoy your stay. Enjoy the full benefits of all the outdoor activities West Virginia and the area have to offer. Bring your family and enjoy activities such as hiking, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, whitewater ATV riding and Rock climbing or just sit on the porch and enjoy nature and piece and solitude Remember this cabin is located right on the access road which takes you to the Tail Waters to the gauley river. Enjoy the 6 person Hot tub ,Check In time is 4pm and Check out is at 11:00am . And also wanted to add the description that VRBO listed on our site showing directions to different activities in the area that is mostly incorrect if you have any questions about distances to any particular place you are wanting to travel please notify me so I can give you the correct distance. We are only 1.5 miles from the Upper Gauley River there is no one around covered hot tub so you can enjoy in all kinds weather. We do advise renters that 4 wheel drive and chains are required during the winter months/ and no refunds will be given for storms, power outages and inclement weather No shooting of any firearms are allowed on property. This base rate is for 2 people each additional guest after 2 will be a additional 15.00 per person per night. THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY ARE PAYING GUEST ONLY, ANY VISITORS WILL HAVE TO PAY THE EXTRA FEE. also wanted to list that we do charge a small pet fee which is non-refundable of $25. when making your reservation. please make sure that you click the pet tab. that way it will let me know that you are bringing a pet and your charge will be added. if you have any questions whatsoever concerning our listing or anything about our listing, please do not hesitate to message me. we can go over everything before you decide to book. thanks again.

Overall it was very clean nice little cabin close enough to basic needs like Gas station Dollar General. Easy to get to major roads to sight see in this beautiful area. .

The 2nd floor bath proved problematic. Climbing 13 steep steps wasn't fun. We would rate this cabin as "adequate" but certainly not as finished and furnished as others we have rented. The Wi-Fi only ran the TV - no internet connect for cell phones. The road up to the cabin is very slippery after a rain so care should be taken to go slow and stay centered on the road bed. We used neither the hot tub or the outdoor cooking gear, so no comments there. Would we return? Probably not.

As a host I just say Wow and shake my head in disbelief we have over 300 review and is rated as exceptional,and what bother me the most if she had just reviewed the listing it says the bathroom and bedroom is upstairs there is plainly a pic of steps they are not steep a normal set of stairs and far as the wifi we were having storms and cloudiness and it messed up the box but I instantly contacted technical support and they were going to work on it. As for that is pretty much out of my control, but they knew this prior to arriving and said that was perfectly fine And then they turned around and slammed me on a review And getting back to the driveway that they mentioned is in the listing as well. It's a gravel driveway. It's not slick no one ever seems to have a problem to get up this driveway. If you would just take the time to read The past reviews and The listing everyone would be happier Thanks!

Memorial weekend stay

This cabin was amazing and we cannot wait to come back. The owners are so nice! We had a great time and love how it’s secluded. Highly recommend staying here!

I actually checked out early because the house smelled terribly. Upstairs smelled like cat pee and mothballs. Downstairs smelled like overkill of air fresheners trying to cover up something. The hot tub was the reason we chose this cabin and it was filthy. There was algae or mold inside the skimmer area and the water was cloudy. I reached out about the filth of the hot tub and the owner of the property did come over very quickly and clean it. We were not there at the time, but when we came back and checked it, it was still cloudy and you could not see the bottom of the hot tub. The skimmer area still had algae on it. It basically just smelled like chemicals. The hot tub was not fit for use unless I wanted to gamble with getting sick. The cabin has air-conditioning units, which is fine, until one of them is facing the shower curtain liner and blowing it in the entire time you’re in the shower. I would not recommend this place.

As A premier host you can look at my past reviews we have 305 reviews, 9.6 rating please look at my past rating before you decide not to rent from us. We understand your point you get here in a middle of a rain storms/ flooding one of the worsed we have had in several years, and it's going to rain through your whole trip. you had brought your jet ski wanting to hit the lake , but unfortunately we can't control the weather we can't refund your money to things that are out of our control. Let's address the review first air conditioner blowing on the shower curtain just had to adjust the louvers and blow at another direction. 2nd we do not have any moth balls in the cabin nor do we allow cats just dogs only. Now the hot tub when she arrived she called I immediately responded when I got there they had hit the economy mode and it was not circulating so once I fix that issue I did clean the hot tub which did not need cleaned at all. It was a little cloudy but I did tell her if she would just had waited an hour it would clear right up and you could still see to the bottom of it before I even cleaned it which I really didn't do much to it. I just adjusted the chemicals and they did not smell strong. The next time that I heard from her she had already checked out of the cabin without even notifying me if she would have done so. I would have ran right back over there and fix this issue even if I had to redrain it but she left. Thanks for for reading this.
