This charming house on The Guadalupe River offers 3 cozy bedrooms with a mix of full, queen, bunk, and twin beds. With 2 bathrooms featuring refreshing showers, guests can relax and unwind after a day of exploring the town of Seguin, Max Starcke Park, and a quick drive to New Braunfels. Named from a cultural experience to slow down and enjoy the moments in life, this house offers a space to kick back, relax and recharge with family or come together with great friends to explore the river and soak up the sounds of the great outdoors. Whether sipping your coffee on the back patio or down on the water's edge is your fancy, there is surely a space that's calling your name.
Located in Seguin, TX, you are just steps away from paddle sports, and minutes away from golf, shopping, live music and dining- there is something for everyone. Explore the nearby parks, play a round of golf, throw some fishing lines in the water, take a short drive over the "Oldest Dance Hall in Texas" and enjoy live music and dancing, or just settle in for a chance to unwind and reconnect. Make use of the on-site washer and dryer, outdoor grill, Wi-Fi, a coffee pot with mugs aplenty, a fully-stocked kitchen, board games, cards, and a shuffleboard table for a friendly challenge. The home was wonderful to live in for a few days! Yes the both bathrooms being in two of the three rooms was a bit odd but not uncomfortable or inconvenient. We only wish we were there for longer to take better advantage of the river front. The owner was very easy to reach and work with. Would recommend!

Megan was a great host, quick to reply and helpful. We feel in love with this place. Its the perfect, relaxing and cozy river house. Plenty of space, nice deck and dock for relaxing and hanging out with friends and family. We will return!

This place was so beautiful and comfortable. We went in the winter time to celebrate a birthday. Now I’m wanting to rent this one again in the summer. The location is private, beautiful and convenient. My family absolutely loved it.

I loved the house the rooms spaces the living room outside view. We had a wonderful stay! The host was easy to communicate with and the property was exactly as described. Highly recommend! The kitchen was fully equipped, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the extra touches like coffee provided made our trip so much better.

The property is lovely, right on the river. The living room was spacious and comfortable. We spent quite a bit of time playing games, which was lots of fun. The sleeping arrangements were unexpected, with 6 mixed adults all sharing one room and 2 couples sharing another, but we made due for the week. Having the only bathrooms in the 2-main bedrooms made it a bit awkward for some, but again, we got through the week. We were comfortable enough, but would have appreciated more sleeping and bathing areas.

Charming Home

The place was lovely and perfectly set on the late. This is an older home but everything was great and in good condition! We were 12 people and a bit cramped for space but as a family we loved it! Megan was super great and helpful and was able to take care of all our needs!

We chose this house for the sole purpose of access to the Guadalupe River however the house itself was so cute! It was spacious and clean! Our host Megan was very responsive and friendly! She had all the necessary equipment for the river to include inflatables, kayaks, and standup boards. Great house I recommend for a family or just a girls trip!

Quiet and comfortable

We had a great stay at the Fika! The house was clean and well stocked. We had easy access to Starke park and the awesome playground. Megan was a great host!

Birthday Getaway

We were looking for a place to have the whole family together for my wifes birthday, and this property had it all! Unlike other properties we have stayed at, these folks have everything and I mean everything. They even had paddle boards for the river and a spare tooth brush for one of my kids who forgot theirs. The outside entertainment area is amazing and we will surely be back.

The view from the living room to the river gave us a sense of calmness and tranquility...peaceful place. If you love nature, you found the perfect place. Don't forget to hug the big tree by the deck. Family Getaway

We absolutely had the best time. I wish we would have booked a 3rd night. Next time for sure. Everything we needed was here plus so much more. The outdoor equipment was perfect and the fishing was so much fun. The Hensley family highly recommend. Thank you.

Beautiful environment!

This place is beautiful! Great views and scenery! Looks exactly like pictures but views are better in person! House was easy to find and easy instructions to get inside, and plenty of parking for everyone. House was very clean upon arrival and plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The hosts are very generous and provided lots of outdoor equipment to use for the backyard. Not to mention my favorite part about this house is that there is a river located directly in the backyard! 10/10 stay HIGHLY recommend

Summer flood

Texas needed rain but we got more than we bargained for which made the Guadalupe inaccessible for floating and fun. Unfortunately this was why we booked our trip. Nothing the property managers could help. The house is definitely too small for two families of 5. Although there are enough places for people to sleep, the living space and kitchen are very crowded to accommodate larger families. The propane was empty so we had to go fill it up, but the owners were quick in responding and giving us money to cover that. It is an older house with no central heat/air. The outdoor amenities/things for kids to do were great.

Hi Jenny, thank you again for your flexibility with the propane tank and offering to take care of it yourself instead of accepting my offer to come do it. Although we don't have central air, we do have two mini split units as well as two window units in the house for temperature control. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectation for your stay.
