The Space:

Set amidst the serene beauty of Lake McQueeney, this luxurious lakefront property promises an exquisite retreat. The spacious living room welcomes guests with its inviting ambiance, boasting a cozy fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and a pullout sleeper sofa, creating a comfortable area for relaxation and entertainment.



The full kitchen, equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, offers the perfect setting for culinary adventures. The adjacent dining area features wrap-around bench seating, providing ample space for guests to gather and enjoy meals while relishing scenic lake views.



The bedrooms are elegantly appointed to ensure a restful stay. Bedroom one and two boast king-sized beds, offering comfort and tranquility. Bedroom one additionally features an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, providing convenience and privacy. Bedroom three offers two twin beds, creating a versatile sleeping arrangement, and shares a well-appointed bathroom with bedroom two.



Stepping outside, the outdoor space is an absolute delight. Multiple patio areas provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor relaxation and entertainment. The spacious yard extends gracefully to the waterfront dock, offering stunning views of Lake McQueeney. A covered patio area equipped with ample seating allows guests to soak in the beauty of the surroundings, whether sipping morning coffee or enjoying evening conversations.



A firepit area offers warmth and a cozy ambiance, perfect for storytelling and roasting marshmallows under the stars. A picnic table seating area beckons guests to indulge in alfresco dining while embracing the tranquil atmosphere.

Completing this waterfront paradise is the boat slip, providing easy access to the lake, and sun loungers offering a serene spot for basking in the sun. The Luxury Lakefront property ensures a memorable stay by combining luxurious comforts with the natural beauty of its lakeside setting.



Great news for pet lovers! This property is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along for the adventure. We want everyone to enjoy their stay, including your four-legged family members. To ensure a paw-sitive experience please be aware of the following:



Pet fees & rules:

We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.

-Pet fee(s) of $115+tax will apply in addition to the nightly rate.

-Please check the weight limit and max number allowed for this unit.

-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them.

-A separate pet waiver must be signed.

-Any and all damages or issues caused by your pet to a unit or furnishing will be immediately charged to your credit card on file.



Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.



To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.



The Neighborhood:

Lake McQueeney is a 400-acre lake and is located 5 miles west of Seguin in Guadalupe county. Visitors are able to fish, boat, and swim as the lake is maintained at a constant level year round.

The house was kind of a mess and in disrepair. Leaking fridge, broken dishwasher, moldy shower curtain, clogged drains and water outages several days in a row so we could not flush toilets or clean after cooking. The walls were filthy around high touch areas and in the breakfast nook. Rooms were pretty clean but we found 2-3 giant, roach carcasses every day all around the house. The beds were comfy but the primary suite bed frame is metal so it squeaks every time you move. No access to any sort of cleaning supplies. It’s a pet friendly place but it doesn’t seem people picked up after their pets because there was poop all over in the front yard. The place is on the beautiful water but there is a recycling plant and a steel factory right next to it and they are loud. The railroad track is right across the street from the house and that could be loud from time to time. Check in was a breeze and the nice man allowed us entry about 15 min prior to check it which was nice. Communication after booking wasn’t very prompt and when we had the second water outage, we didn’t even bother to contact them. Coffee maker broke and it took them two days to replace it. The “stocked” kitchen is not as good as it sounds, but we managed. They only had 4 spoons but plenty of other cutlery. I’d recommend washing all dishes before use. Several of the dishes had dried food on them and were visibly dirty. We left the place cleaner than we found it.
