Relaxing 2BR condo in Palm Desert Resort CC! Easy walk to pools, golf, tennis...

I’m very disappointed to see this review particularly after giving the guest a $300 credit because they complained so much. After renting the condo for 4 years without any complaints, during their stay, the TV remote stopped working (I ordered a replacement immediately) the blinds which previously worked were reported broken (I had a new curtain rod and curtains installed), the toilet backed up (hired a plumber to rooter the line the same day). I’ve previously received compliments on having a well-stocked kitchen so I can’t really understand the expectation because I provide so much more than I’ve seen in short-term rentals I’ve stayed in. There was a set of glasses available which the guest didn’t comment on but rather chose to complain because I provided plastic cups for use at the pool. The Keurig and kettle were never listed as amenities but had been available for guests to use. Because there was another coffee maker available, I chose not to buy another Keurig and I was never told that the tea kettle didn’t work. I would have replaced it via Amazon the next day had I known. Was it a coincidence that so many things broke during their stay? Perhaps if I have given a $500 credit, I would have received a better review.
