Regarding the concerns you mentioned, our team inspected the home immediately afterward and although they did not detect any unusual odor, we completed an additional deep clean to ensure the space remains fresh and inviting. We also did not find any signs of insects inside the home, but to go above and beyond, we scheduled an extra visit from our licensed pest control provider, which is part of our routine preventative care. Guest comfort is extremely important to us, so we always err on the side of caution. There is a nearby train track, and while its passes are infrequent and we have yet to receive a complaint about it, we understand that everyone’s sensitivity to sound is different. We always want guests to feel informed and comfortable, and we’re happy to provide guidance on what to expect if noise levels are a concern. As for the neighborhood lighting, this is a safe residential area that meets local lighting standards. Regardless, we added additional lighting around the exterior to enhance visibility and make late arrivals easier for future guests. Although you chose not to stay, our team was available to assist in real time and would have been happy to address any concerns or provide alternatives.
