Host was great! Good communication and always replied right away! The condo was perfect! Beautiful view, spacious. Great location, able to walk to different restaurants and shops in the area! Plus there was parking available in the marina! All around has a great time staying here!

I would stay again in the same condo. It's not luxury, but it has a kitchen, a nice size lanai, and a great view for the money. The unit seems to be in the process of upgrading, and still needs fresh paint, wallpaper, and some minor touches, but I spent most of the time looking at the ocean view, not the walls. The owner answered all my queries promptly.

Value for money at Ilikai

Standard Ilikai property, so plenty of space, good size lanai etc. Property was very well equipped, everything we needed for our 2 week stay. However, if I owned the property I would give it a good overhaul top to bottom, even if it was just a good redecoration, it looks a little "worn". Apartment owner was very helpful with early check in, and there were things like chocolates and coffee left for us. Pricing was very good for our favourite location, so all in all, good value for money in a country where prices have risen significantly since we were last there 5 years ago. Would book this apartment again, purely on price and location.

Perfect locatio in Waikiki

Great location in the heart of Waikiki. Easy to walk to lots of restaurants. The condo was clean and comfortable. It's showing its age, but worked great for our stay.

Just what you need

I arrived at hnl after a nine and a half hour flight. Took a Lyft to Ilikai. Property owner had texted while in flight that I could check in early! Relieved! Got there and a box of chocolates was waiting for me. I walked to ABC store to grab groceries and forgot butter. No worries. It was in the fridge and there was coffee, salt, and pepper . Literally I felt very taken care of. me.

Ocean view condo in good location

My husband and I stayed here for a conference. It was convenient to both the convention center (15-20 min walk) and other conference events at nearby hotels. The unit itself is spacious with a lanai with view in to the harbor and ocean. There is a moderate amount of street noise from the lanai but sound insulation is good with the doors closed. The unit is somewhat dated but has everything you need. It is a quick walk to beaches and central Waikiki

The local is very close to where we needed to pick up for the excursions. Also had an elevator. Was a good place for us. The wall paper needs to be fixed.

Disappointing Stay – This Unit Desperately Needs Renovation

I’ve stayed in three other units at the Ilikai, and unfortunately, this one was by far the most disappointing. While I understand some units retain original furniture and design elements, this unit shows significant wear and neglect. The wallpaper throughout was peeling, and there appeared to be signs of mold in several areas. The bathroom and kitchen floors were sticky, and with dark carpeting elsewhere, it’s hard to gauge the cleanliness of the rest of the flooring.There were also concerning safety issues, such as tangled and outdated electrical cords near the bed, and the main table had a cracked marble top. I wasn’t entirely confident that the sheets were fresh, which added to the overall feeling of discomfort.It feels like the unit may be privately maintained without professional oversight, and that could be contributing to its poor condition. I strongly suggest the owner consider working with one of the many reputable property management companies that operate in the Ilikai. These professionals could help bring the unit up to standard—or alternatively, the owner may want to consider selling it to someone who’s willing to invest in the necessary upgrades.It’s unfortunate the system does not allow photographs of how this unit really looks like, as it was terrible. With proper care and attention, this unit has potential—but in its current state, I would not recommend it.

Great Location

I have stayed at the Ilikai many times and it continues to be my favourite location. Great pools, easy access to the beach and good communication with property manager.

We had a nice relaxing time

We read the previous reviews. We know what to expect. On the TV issue, on our iphones, we can watch TV. We brought our Lighting device and plugged into the HGMI port. We had no TV issues. Location was great, close to the Mall and other locations. The pools was great. The price was nice for the location, it is better tan paying 300 to 400 a night. Yes, there was some TLC issues in the unit, but it would not stop us from going back.

Great location for the price!

This was perfect for a solo trip! More than 2 people sharing the bed would be too crammed for me. As other reviews have stated - the shower head drips and there is mold in the shower (due to the dripping). The AC worked fine for me, but the bed wasn't the most comfortable (very firm). I thought the view was good, but there is a lot of noise. Bottom line... it was exactly as I would expect for the price. Don't expect a Hilton experience when you're paying the rate of a Super 8! (lol) Arvis is also very quick to respond with questions and even allowed me to mail a package to his home address, so it was there when I arrived.

Great condo by the beach

We were a family of 5 staying for 6 nights/7 days and this place fit out needs perfectly. It is by the beach and a short walk to many restaurants and stores. The view from the lanai at sunset was incredible. The hotel was fairly quiet, we never heard other guests
