This was our 2nd visit and it was just as good as the first. The layout, location and size is perfect for our family of five. Being right on the lake is amazing and so convenient. Can’t wait for our next trip. Thank you!

Amazing position and view. Equidistant between Minocqua and Eagle River in very charming St Germain. Perfectly clean and recently renovated. Canoes for the lake and a smart TV for the evenings.

Perfect Northwoods Vacation Spot

This is our third year spending a week enjoying the scenic Northwoods. Everything was great as always and really enjoy making memories at this property. Very secluded and quiet to enjoy campfires, the outdoor wildlife and family time. Thanks for sharing!

Family trip to Northwoods

Late August stay

Property was fantastic! The house was nicely updated with plenty of space for our family. The pier is really nice which makes parking a boat incredibly easy.

We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this beautiful property! It was very clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and extremely well stocked. We especially loved the screened-in porch, the fireplace, bonfire pit, the stunning views, and wildlife- lots of deer and eagles! The hosts were very attentive and helpful. This was our second time renting here and we can’t wait to come back!

Soaring Eagles and Sunsets!

Thank you Mike and Lori for the use of your wonderful place! It’s the best location on the whole lake! We loved watching the 3 resident eagles, many duck families, loons and deer in the yard! Wonderful week at a wonderful place!

Perfect !!!

The home and property are just beautiful. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The yard and view were stunning and the screened in porch was a bonus! We would highly recommend this home for peaceful and comfortable vacation.

Great place to stay!!!

The home is very nice and well equipped. We ate most all meals here. The grill was so nice to use. It is so relaxing we just didn’t want to go out. The yard to the dock is flat and it was really nice for senior citizens to enjoy going down to boat or just sitting on the dock. We were centrally located to everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit many more times in the future.

Perfect Sunsets

Great property! Our 2nd year spending a week at this home and enjoy the privacy and sunsets. Home is well equipped for anything you need and accommodations are modern and well kept. Have a return trip booked for next year. Good swimming frontage for kids to play. Location is perfect in proximity to many restaurants, grocery store and attractions. Thanks for sharing your home!

The cottage was nice but the online pictures look better than it is.

Most comfortable bed I have slept in away from home. However, the dining room chairs were not very comfortable and some of the furniture in living room was quite faded. Lake and screen porch were lovely.

Feeling grateful

Stunning home and views. Fully equipped for any need. Truly appreciated HEPA system given Canadian smoke alerts. Sandy swimming area. Enjoyed seeing deer and eagles on property. Owners were excellent! Truly a privilege to stay at their beautiful home! Loved the privacy and peace.

Cabin bliss

We loved this property! Great layout, clean and comfortable. Tasteful renovation. We stayed with our daughter and her husband and two young children. We used the swingset and porch often. It was great to be able to just walk down to the dock without any steps! We rented a pontoon and it was fun fishing and cruising the lake.. Owners were very responsive to a couple of concerns.

Secluded getaway

This property is well maintained and has loads of space for your belongings. The decor ties in perfectly with the spacious outdoor area and Big St Germaine Lake. The next nearest pier was 100 yards away giving you complete privacy. The firepit was a perfect ending to each day while watching the sunset over the lake. The quality is very high compared to other VRBO rentals in the past. Fishing was good (overall) catching crappy, perch, small mouth bass, northern pike and blue gills. Lots of wildlife around the area, especially deer and the resident bald eagles not to mention the photos we snapped of the elusive Pilated Woodpecker!!! We had an amazing time and loved every minute of our stay.

Private setting, flat yard on Big Saint

We enjoyed the location of this property on Big St. Germain. We had previously stayed on Little Saint and Lake Content. We appreciated the lack of bugs at our evening campfires just as the owners claimed! We didn’t use the bug spray once! Entry to water is flat, which is nice. Parking the boat was easy . The home was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. I never ran out of plates or cups. I appreciated the quality of pans that they had. I would have liked some chip clips, but that’s the only thing I couldn’t find. Hot water never ran out and the beds were comfortable. The refrigerator did not dispense water or ice which was a slight inconvenience. Overall nice property and owners were very responsive.

We had an amazing vacation! The lake, the house, and the flea market were all so much fun! We had one day where the weather was cooler, so we went for a nice hike. There is a great selection of restaurants to choose from in the surrounding areas and they were all so good! Also, Mike was a great host with very good communication. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone that loves being on the water!

Perfectly quiet getaway

Great location with easy access to Big Saint Germain Lake. A quiet getaway for us with everything as advertised from the owner. Prompt responses from the owners on any inquiries pre and post booking. Looking forward to coming back!

End of summer getaway

Had a nice getaway before the kids went back to school. A very well kept house in a great location. Nice sized yard with plenty of dock space for boats. Kitchen was well stocked. Probably the nicest property I have stayed at on Big St. Germain.

Beautiful lake home in perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully appointed with all the necessities. Big St. Germain is our favorite lake, perfect for fishing, tubing, and swimming!

Great Sunsets

My family and I had a great week at the property. Home has everything you need, very clean and well kept and is in a great location with fantastic sunsets. Enjoyed the screened in porch. Owner communication was great - can’t wait to come back next year. Best rental we have had yet!
