Welcome to our beloved property, where my children grew up and where we built countless memories together. From the ground up, each family member played a role in its creation. My kids helped tie rebar into the foundation and assisted my father, a master electrician (now retired), in pulling electrical lines from the service pole to the house, while I installed the lighting and switch fixtures. Together, we painted the walls and installed water lines.

This ranch has hosted all our significant milestones, including high school and college graduation parties, and many unplanned gatherings the kids thought I didn't know about (funny in hindsight, not so much at the time!). We’ve celebrated birthdays, baby showers, epic Easter egg hunts, and magical Christmases, especially when blessed with rare snow.

Our property proved its resilience during the big ice storm a few years back, losing power for only about six hours. We’ve poured our time and hearts into this ranch, making it a cherished retreat and our future retirement haven.

Our home is nestled on 10 serene acres, far enough from any major roads that traffic noise is nearly nonexistent. We use a septic system and draw our water from a well that taps into the aquifer.

What I love most, and what everyone who visits seems to agree on, is the tranquility of the property. It's a peaceful haven that feels remote without being inconveniently far. Major stores are easily accessible, but we're delightfully distant from city hustle and busy neighborhoods. We've hosted groups with boats who found ample space to park their trailers and trucks, and they appreciated our proximity to the boat ramps at Stillhouse Lake. Additionally, we're just 10 miles from Salado, where you can enjoy a variety of stores, restaurants, concerts, and plenty of shopping opportunities!
