Kuhio Shores 104 is on the ground floor of this amazing ocean front property. It is very special, perfect for Honeymoon, anniversaries, birthday celebrations, and is also a place where you can completely relax! We are also close to all of the South Shore sites and activities. Only 20 feet of lush green grass separates the condo from the water. Walk right out of the large sliding glass door to experience what island paradise has to offer. No obstructions from lanai railings, just the freedom to enjoy the ocean and our beautiful property. Feel the trade winds and warm sun, breath and relax! This is the quiet side Kuhio Shores, with ever changing scenery. The sea turtles love to play in the bay. Local Hawaiian fishermen may be throwing their nets and occasional surfers with their boards may quickly pass by. Watching whales and spinner dolphins during the winter months is unforgettable. Experience these things while sitting on the comfortable outdoor furniture on our lanai, the largest in the Kuhio Shores complex!
Our condo has just had a very major renovation. The kitchen is in beautiful contemporary Island style and filled with every amenity. A seasoned cook will be happy. And what a view! The condo complex also has Weber BBQs available for guests
The new luxe bathroom is spa-like, with Kauai's Malie Organics luxury bath products. It has a beautiful rock shower with a Japanese style washlet toilet.
The bedroom and living room focuses on ultimate comfort. Comfortable bed and bedding, comfortable seating with plenty of light. And we have AIR CONDITIONING in the living room and bedroom for those hot days. We want our guests to truly feel at home!
Our lockable plantation shutters allows a secure way to enjoy the sound of the waves and the cooling breezes, especially at night. Open it all up for the 'take your breath away' view!
Kuhio Shores is also very close to many splendid restaurants, if cooking is not in the vacation plan. There are too many to mention! Let us know if you would if you would like some ideas.
Beach chairs, and beach towels are available for venturing out to the many wonderful beaches. No need to go too far, as Lawai Beach, on the other side of Kuhio Shores, has some of the best snorkeling on the island. Kauai has so much to offer, so a better idea may be to go out and explore. Beauty and relaxation will be waiting.. We would love to share our second home for your special Kauai stay!

Such a beautiful condo! This is our 2nd time staying within 6 months. The condo is just as pictured! We spent so much time on the lanai enjoying the sound of the ocean, watching for turtles, spear fisherpersons, etc. It's my happy place!The kitchen is immaculate, with everything you would need to create wonderful meals. We loved watching the parakeets come in each evening and roost in the surrounding palm trees, it is a stunning experience created by nature! We will be back, not in 6 months, but soon! Thank you for creating such a wonderful place to recharge!

Couldn't Ask For More!

I can not emphasize how perfect this stay was! The location is exceptional and we fell asleep to the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore and rose to glorious sunrises daily. The home was well appointed with anything and everything one could ask for. The complex was quiet, peaceful and allowed us to truly unwind and relax. The unit has been upgraded and is quite beautiful. We repeatedly said to ourselves that we will come back to this specific unit when we return to Kauai. There isn't one single thing that I could say was a problem or an issue. It was heavenly and I am sooooo grateful that we went with our gut when choosing this location to spend our 10 nights in. Thank you Brenda and John for creating a wonderful atmosphere for an unforgettable experience!

What a gem! We had an absolutely perfect stay. That view is to die for. You can just sit out on the patio for hours!! The kitchen was well stocked with spices and anything you could think of. We would love to come back and stay here again!!

Absolute Bliss

We escaped rainy days in Seattle and celebrated my husband's birthday in this perfect destination. We have stayed in many VRBOs over the last 15 years. This is the loveliest, best equipped one ever. The place is nicer than the photos--so comfortable with a mesmerizing view. Falling asleep to the sound of waves every night was perfection. We truly hate to leave and hope to comeback often.

Perfect Honeymoon Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo in Poipu! The location is unreal and it is just a quick walk around the building to get to the Beach House and watch some surfers or go snorkeling! We loved waking up to the sunrise and watching the turtles pop their heads up in the afternoon. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and had everything we needed! The communication was great and it was easy to find/navigate. It is also a great central location on the island that allowed for quick travel time to our daily activities and adventures! You would not be disappointed if you stay at this lovely home :)

Simply Excellent!

We absolutely loved this place! Weā€™ve traveled all over the world and have stayed at all kinds of places, including many vacation rentals. John and Brendaā€™s condo rates as one of the best equipped of all. From the comprehensive assortment of kitchen ware to the bidet toiletā€”weā€™ve NEVER had a bidet toilet before, not even in Europe!!ā€”this place is stellar, top to bottom. And the view from the lanai? Amazing! The location is convenient to a nice little shopping center with several excellent restaurants and a small grocery store, and there are a couple of decent beaches nearby. I can safely say this will be our go-to vacation spot whenever we can return to beautiful Kauai.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores condo. Everything was just as advertised and the attention to detail to make our stay completely comfortable was beyond expectations. Sitting out on the lanai listening to the waves crash and watching the sea turtles swim by was one of the best parts of our trip. Great location with easy walking to the shopping mall, nearby resorts and of course The Beach House was fantastic. We would definitely book this property again. Delightful vacation spot in Kauai!

We had a fantastic stay in Kauai! And what a gorgeous island!šŸļø Our stay at this condo was absolutely perfect. The thought, care and detail that Brenda and John have put into creating their beautiful vacation home is so evident the minute you walk in. We were both so delighted when we arrived and saw how lovely, clean and welcoming their condo is. I could have packed 1/4 less ā€œstuffā€ as they provide their guests with so many handy and needed items and all high quality and in excellent condition. The location of the condo is excellent and Kuhio Shores is a well maintained complex with lovely grounds. We took full advantage of the beautiful views while relaxing on the lanai. It was such a great treat watching all the well mannered, respectful and happy teenagers (and some older) surfing just in front of the condo complex. The trade winds provided ā€œnatural A/Cā€ throughout the condo. It was also nice and quiet at night. We hiked almost every day as Kauai has many spectacular hiking trails with breathtaking views. We went on the Jurassic Falls tour with Island Helicopters (pilot Brody) and that was a bucket list trip for sure! We hope to return back to Kauai soon and hope to have the good fortune to be able to stay at this delightful condo once again. Phenomenal rental and excellent value!

Everything about our stay here was truly excellent! Great communication from our booking throughout the stay. The location is phenomenal, perfect lanai into a quiet (asode from gentle sound of waves) cove, with a huge walkout lanai on the first floor. Lawai beach, which is great snorkeling, is right on the other side of the complex, and we saw two turtles, a few eels, and tons of fish when we went. The condo is outfitted perfectly with every need and want taken care of. Great kitchen with tons of utensils and stuff like Tupperware, foil, etc all there! The condo was incredibly clean, and the AC worked well too! Can't recommend this vrbo and the owners enough!!

J & M trip to Kauai

The unit and the surrounding area were truly incredible. My fiance and I had such a wonderful time during our 4-day visit and we hope to return to Kauai and to this specific place on the ocean at some point in the future. The snorkeling just 200 meters away was amazing - we got to swim with turtles and so many beautiful and colorful fish. Nearby beaches were spectacular and many excellent restaurants within walking or short drive distance with different types of food and price ranges available. We also got to explore Kauai a bit with hiking, kayaking, and more snorkeling which was a ton of fun. This beautiful place helped make our vacation perfect - I'm happy to give my highest recommendation.

Excellent condo/ location

First, I would like to say how COMFORTABLE the bed and pillows were. Im very picky with my pillows and their pillows did not disappoint : ) The bed was perfect! This condo was so relaxing. I loved waking up early, making coffee (which the owners supplied plenty fresh coffee) and sitting on the lanai listening to the waves crashing. The grounds were very well manicured. Short walk around the condo, walking on the grass, to the beach where my husband was able to surf. We had a car so ate at many restaurants on the island but having the Beach House right next door was very convenient for a sunset cocktail or a bite to eat. Not once did we have an issue getting in for a meal or a drink. The condo always had a wonderful ocean airflow and the constant sound of the waves was awesone. The property was very quiet with ample parking. John and Brenda thought of everything you might need. The only thing we needed was food. Even then, only bagels, as we ate out for every meal. If you are considering this condo for your stay on this BEAUTIFUL island, I would not hesitate, book it today!! Thank you John and Brenda for our best trip yet to Kauai. MAHALO šŸ¤™šŸ‘ŒšŸ“

John was a General Building contractor, specializing in custom homes, and I was a nurse at the local hospital. We love to travel and have been to many special places. We thought that our first home was still the most beautiful place...that is until we experienced Kauai. The friendliness and kindness of the local people also drew us. There is an easy smile and an open heart--the true spirit of Aloha.

We couldn't believe how special Kuhio Shores was with the close proximity to the ocean, beautiful gardens and the extremely helpful staff. We felt strongly that it was 'meant to be'. We feel so very lucky and are excited to be able to share our second home!

Our condo is on the bay frontage with ocean view. It is much more quiet and private on our side. Beacuse we are on the ground floor, the grass feels like our own yard that leads you to the water. The lanai is the largest in the complex We see the sun rise, moon rise and rainbows right in front. The full moon reflecting on the water is a spectacular site! The sunsets are also unforgetable. We love to take a glass of wine and walk around the corner of the condo complex to absorb the beauty. We hope that you enjoy Kuhio Shores 104 as much as we do!
