Pool was unusable

Booked this property mainly for pool for grandchildren. Pool water was green when we arrived. Property mgr. did help us out with transportation when our van rental was not available which was very nice of her.

Week vacation

The house was clean and will keep and had everything we needed for our stay. The yard and pool are very big our kids had a lot of fun. There was a brand new grill. The only negatives are the water pressure was very low and the hot tube had no water in it I assume that it was broken Over all we had a great time and would stay again

Great place

This place was great! Plenty of space for a family of 4, grandparents, and an aunt an uncle. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, plenty of parking and a garage, and great location. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy. There is a great screened in porch that we would have spent more time in but there was a broken hot tub on it. Loves the space though. Would stay again! Hosts were flexible and gave us a late check out and were very quick to respond. Great location and beautiful lake views.

Rental review

Pool was great, the highlight of the week. Unfortunately, unlike last year, we found some housekeeping issues upon arrival and broken outside stairs from the back porch to the pool. Wrote a private review to the manager who promptly got back to us with an apology. Would probably rent here again.

Lovely vacation!

The house was exactly as pictured, enough room for grandparents, parents and little ones to enjoy. A perfect fit for a group of ten with four little kids.

Great place and property

We had a great time at this property. The grounds are spacious with lots of yard for the kids to run around. The house has tons of room and is adequately stocked for all your needs. Couple small things that kept me rating it a 5 star overall: 1 some light bulbs were out throughout some of the light fixtures and the fixture over the island was missing some light bulbs all together. The main shower was tough to keep the water temp steady. The temperate control would constantly slide down to a different (hot) temperature and wouldn't stay in place. The shower itself would make a loud, high pitched squeal on and off throughout all the showers. I definitely recommend this property overall, as just a couple things kept it from being a 5 star rating.

Great family vacation week

Our overall impression of this property was very good. Accommodated our 6 adults and 4 children 8 and under very well. One thing that comes to mind where improvements could be made for the enjoyment of your guests is to fix up the back porch and steps. There is a big empty hot tub that takes up a good deal of the space and the steps headed to the pool could be improved. We would have sat out there in the evenings if there had been more room and if it was in better shape overall. John was very responsive to our one problem with the pool during the week and answered all questions in a timely fashion. The pool was the hit of the week as well as the bike path that is just steps from the house. Another plus for us was that we didn’t have to make our beds upon arrival. It was nice to have them all ready. It was also nice to have such a great laundry room available. The evening sunsets across the bay were gorgeous. We would definitely stay there again. 4th of July week family vacation

We loved the house. With 9 adults, the 5 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms were great. The kitchen was very well equipped, plenty of space for everyone to cook and to hang out. The view of the fireworks over Lake Champlain from the living room window the night we arrived was an unexpected bonus. Location was convenient to Burlington, Colchester, Lake Champlain, grocery stores, etc. Pool was very relaxing, and corn hole was enjoyed by all. Highly recommend this property, we enjoyed our week throrougly!

Perfect Destination

We just came back from a wonderful week and stay at this home. The house is beautiful and stocked with the essentials. The house is located close enough to a variety of family oriented activities or places of interest.

June 2022 Vacation

We had a very nice stay at the property and John was extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests. We were a group of 6, all adults and older teenagers. Pros: The beds were really, really comfortable; the views were absolutely amazing, especially the sunsets; the yard was huge and perfect for our dog; the kitchen was very well stocked and the location was good for everything we wanted to do - Burlington and Winooski were ~ 10 mins; and the pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Water temp is what you would expect for Northern VT in June :) Cons: We had a couple of small issues at the beginning of the stay but John resolved them very quickly and without any problems. The screened in porch is currently not set up well for use b/c there is not much furniture out there and the bulk of the sq. footage is an empty hot tub. It would be nice if it was set up better as the nights are cooler and it would be a lovely place to sit and relax and watch the sunset. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend staying here. Thank you for the use of your home.

Great Vacation Spot

I don't usually rent properties with no reviews but this location seemed promising. So glad we chose it for our summer vacation with family. We were able to bring out pet along with extra cleaning fee. The large yard, in ground swimming pool, close proximity to private beach on the lake were all great for relaxing and fun activities for all. The house is also right on the Colchester causeway which is path for walking, biking which was so convenient for our active lifestyle. The house was well furnished throughout. The location was close to Burlington and other activites. My only issue was that there is only one air conditioner in the kitchen/family room area and during the hot, humid days many of the bedrooms would not be get cooled down enough. Fortunately this was only a few days of the stay. We will plan to rent again in the future.

Great Vermont getaway

We went away with 4 adults and 5 children (ranging 3 to 11) and had a great time here! The house was very clean and had everything we needed upon check in. Having the in ground pool was a plus at the end of our beach/lake days! Plenty to do in the area, and only 15 minutes from Burlington. Communication with the property manager was easy when we had a question. I highly recommend checking out North Beach while you are visiting!
