Xanadu is our Palm Springs Oasis. <br>No "Pool heating" charges

Welcome to our home, a luxurious, tranquil oasis with all of the amenities you would expect at a fine hotel. We offer four bedrooms, two beautifully renovated bathrooms and two separate living spaces. The master suite has a patio to enjoy your morning tea or coffee and attached bathroom with double sinks and a separate shower and toilet area. The other three bedrooms are on the other side of the house and share another bathroom with double sinks. Each bedroom features a good sized closet, smart TV and ceiling fan. Our living room has a woodburning fireplace, marble floors and a game table. The sunroom has a large smart TV with surround sound. Our fully equipped kitchen has a new limestone countertop, chef's knives, Caphalon cookware, soda stream and a Blendtec blender.  The dining area sits 8 comfortably, and more if needed. Outside we have a covered dining area, sparkling pool and spa, outdoor kitchen with wet bar and cozy conversation area. We look forward to welcoming you soon. The maximum number of adult overnight guests is limited by the City of Palm Springs to 8. In addition to the 8 adults, we can accept up to 4 children.

Haft Family Stay

The house was perfect for our family needs. There was five adults and three children. The property manager. Heidi was great in providing solutions for a couple of things. I would totally recommend this place and will be booking it in the future.

Perfect!

This home, yes...it is more than a house, had everything we needed. Everything was well stocked - towels, dishes, pots and pans, soap, linens, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste, POOL TOWELS, floaties, and so much more! The kitchen had spices, and coffee galore! The pool was magnificent and we all loved lounging in it! Yes, it was December, but heating the pool and spa were easy and simple. The furniture was comfortable and there was lots of space for all of our large group to sit and visit! The beds were comfortable, too! The home was very clean, and bathrooms were perfect- NO hidden issues or mildew! The shower heated up quickly and had great pressure. The owners take pride in this property. They were very easy to contact and VERY kind. Heidi is WONDERFUL! She was our contact person- and made sure that we had everything we needed. This home was a little piece of paradise, and we would love to stay again and again!

Family Friendly

This is the most well equipped home we have stayed in. Pool floaties for children, kitchenware, towels, games and more. Great location, pool and ease of communicating with owners. Great experience.

This property is a perfect getaway for a family. The home has everything you would ever need including pool toys, bathroom amenities and kitchen utensils. I recommend this home to all families and look forward to future stays.

Outstanding in every aspect of our stay. Our best VRBO experience ever. We were in town for a family wedding. Visited other relatives at their rentals (which were very nice) but there is something special about Xanadu. Excellent floor plan for a family group.

The Reviews Don't Lie!

What a great trip! We had six adults and one pup on this trip and we had a great time! The property was perfect for us. The Master Bedroom/Bath is a bit removed from the other 3 bedrooms, which provided privacy and quiet for a couple of early risers. There are 2 separate living spaces, one with TV and the other a little quieter - spent time reading there! The kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need, as well as the rest of the house. Pool toys, plenty of towels, easy checkin/checkout...but most important great hosts! We needed to communicate with the owners more than once due to a conflict in our schedule and they were so friendly and helpful. The onsite contact, Heidi, was great as well! She met us at the property to give us the "tour" which was really helpful. July in Palm Springs is HOT, so personally I would plan the next trip a little earlier or later in the season, but that's just me. Large grassy area that our dog loved running around on and the pool was a big hit with our group. Nice BBQ, plenty of parking, nothing but positives for Xanadu! I see another visit in our future!

looking to book again

Our first time renting a vacation home with family, we usually book at a nearby resort for last 10yrs. This home was everything as listed and more. enjoyed my scenic early morning walks around the extremely quiet and clean neighborhood, and golf course, to grilling dinner out by the pool in the late afternoons, the home had room for everyone to relax and enjoy and spread out, even with large group. Very clean, organized, and location could not be better, for a family. It would be difficult to go back to resorts, or even find a home with everything is one has. would I recommend?, absolutely, just not on our days 😁

Perfect home for family gathering

We had 8 adults & 4 kids staying at this home. There was plenty of room for all to spread out and relax. The pool was a hit! With a jacuzzi as well both adults and kids were happy. Sliding doors to the pool had alarms so no little people could sneak out to the pool. Great feature. Property is beautiful. A hummingbird garden. My family had a photo shoot there as well. The contact person was readily available for any questions or issues. We recommend this home and and we will likely return.

Another Great Stay in Palm Springs

This is the first time in many trips that we haven't stayed at Mission Hills CC in Rancho Mirage, so it was a bit of a departure when choosing this house. I have to say that it was as good as advertised and I would recommend it to anyone. The hosts and property manager communicated well and provided anything that we needed. The layout of the house was perfect and we loved spending time in the large backyard with the mountain views. The location is ideal since it's only a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, and about a mile to Hwy 110 if you're heading into Rancho Mirage like we did several times. There were a few hiccups with the pool that were out of anyone's control, but everything worked out fine and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Perfect Getaway!

We stayed with our 5 and 7 year old. I love the layout of the house. There is a family/tv room on one end (with a door!) and on the other is a lovely living area where I chose, many times, to sit quietly and read. The pool was a favorite for the kids. The yard is beautiful and tropical with its beautiful palm trees. The mountain peaks, you can see them from the back yard, had snow on them from the winter storms. It was great. We rode our bikes around a ton and had a good time while we were there. Also, Heidi is amazing!

Love Zanadu!

Our stay at Zanadu was very relaxing and resort-like with the views of the palm trees and mountains. The spa was great in the coolish weather. We hope to return one day.....

Amazing Palm Springs Getaway

Our family spent a weekend at this house and we had a spectacular time. From the time we walked in, it was sparkling clean and fully stocked with every single amenity we could think of, literally - everything! Except meat and chicken of course....lol. We were 6 in total, my husband and two small kids, stepson, and mom. And we still felt the house was quite big. Every room was charmingly decorated and felt very homie and not stuffy like we couldn't touch anything or be extra careful with kids. Which we were, but that's only bc mine are 2 and 5. Other than that everything felt pretty comfortable and easy to handle. All the instructions on how to work the tv's, pool, and bbq were explained thoughtfully and simple. I had told Heidi I wouldn't be touching the control for the pool at all, but then decided it would be nice to turn on the lights for the pool at night. Easy! The kitchen had everything we needed to make our family meals. And I mean, it had every single condiment we could think of, all pots and pans, coffee machines (espresso machine as well), and proper table/glass wear for inside and outdoor dining. We cooked all of our meals as a result. And felt the experience to be truly like being at home. The backyard and pool area were so enjoyable for the whole family. We definitely enjoyed all the great pool toys supplied for our use. We even tried the croquet game and enjoyed the great landscape. I would only say to guests to make sure you get mosquito repellent because we got bit the day before. But once we applied it we were all fine. We would definitely return to this amazing house. I don't think we've had a better/comfortable stay in all of our vacation rentals. And thanks to Heidi who answered every single question right away. She was very pleasant to communicate with during our stay.

A family vacation

I would defiantly recommend this rental to anyone. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I could not thinking of anything I would bring to have made our trip any better. Communication with Heidi was just a text away to make our trip anymore memorable. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise.

Our Family Reunion in Palm Springs.

We had a great few days at this house, it is exactly as you see it in the pictures. Everything that we needed was available. We where 8 adults and 4 kids. We knew that we would be in the house the whole time so therefore it was important to be comfortable in the house. We would definitely rent this house again.
