Ocean Views from this 2 bdrm/2 Bath Ground Floor Family Friendly Condo

Welcome to Kauai Hale Kai at Poipu Sands. Poipu Sands unit 313 is a Deluxe two bedroom/two bathroom, ground level condominium with a spectacular ocean view. Poipu Sands is right next to the Grand Hyatt Resort property.

Poipu Sands has a large heated pool with a deep end and Lap Lane. It is about a 15 second walk to the pool and less than a 10 minute walk to Shipwreck Beach at Keoneloa Bay.

Our furnished and updated Non-Smoking vacation home, with 9 foot ceilings, is perfect for four people. The master bedroom has a California king-size bed, over sized tub/shower and a lanai. The guest room also has a California king-size bed with adjoining bathroom. We have a pack-n-play available in the 2nd bedroom closet. There is a hotel style safe in the hall closet for your convenience. The condo has a full sized washer and dryer, high speed internet and 3 flat screened LCD TVs, with cable (both bedrooms and Living Room). Beach chairs, beach towels tennis rackets and boogie boards are also provided.

Less than a mile walk, enjoy 3 beaches, Shipwreck Beach, Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach, often rated the #1 beach in the world by the Travel Channel. Enjoy snorkeling at Poipu Beach Park and boogie boarding at Brennecke Beach and Shipwreck Beach. All beaches are great to soak up the sun while you play. There are two great golf courses close, Poipu Bay and Kiahuna Golf Club. Also minutes away by car is shopping, fine dining, and tennis.

Soak up the sun, whale watching mid Nov-mid April, sea turtles, monk seals, dolphins, Enjoy sunrises from the condo and sunsets , less than a mile walk to Brennecke Beach. We have a private tennis court at Poipu Sands and an 8 ct. tennis complex in Poipu Kai. Walk along the greenbelt to get to the beaches. Poipu Sands also has several Weber gas bar-b-ques available for grilling your dinner.

Jenni was wonderful to communicate with. We had no issues with directions or entering the unit. This unit is very attractive. It’s been updated and very roomy. Beautiful is the word. It’s definitely one of the best units we have stayed at. The kitchen has everything you need for an extended stay. I loved the large refrigerator! The closet has many items for going to the beach including chairs, toys for kids, and a cart to tow it all to the beach. The location is perfect for going to Shipwreck Beach and the Heritage Trail along the cliffs. The pool is heated, but with the cooler weather we didn’t use it very often, preferring to go sit on the beach and watch the waves. It’s a little longer walk to Poipu Beach Park but we had no troubles walking the distance. We are in our mid 70’s and enjoyed the ground floor unit. I highly recommend Jenni’s condo. We would stay here again if it was available. Mahalo Jenni. It was a fantastic visit.

This is hands-down the best-equipped vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. Everything needed for cooking, relaxing, and island life was thoughtfully provided—it truly felt like staying in a private home rather than a typical rental. Compared to other properties in Kapaʻa and Waimea on this trip, there’s no comparison. Perfect 10/10! We hope to return for a longer stay next time. Mahalo!

We had a great time at Jenni’s condo in Poipu. It’s a superb location, near the Hyatt, and the walking around the area is exceptional for morning and evening walks. The brief walk to Brennecke’s beach was a hit for us all. We were there during the tsunami evacuation and ended up in Kōloa - a short drive away- until we were safe to go back. Jenni was communicative during the process and helped us when we needed anything. The condo is well stocked, great beach equipment, and we enjoyed being so close to Shipwrecks beach. The washer and dryer were not my favorite to use, but it was ok because we brought plenty of clothes etc. lol! We would definitely stay here again and I can imagine it would be even better in the spring when there is less heat, since there is no AC. We managed without it with all the fans provided. The tv was great in the nighttime, when the sun went down, but we had to reset it once. Not sure why. Otherwise the condo WiFi was great. The kitchen items were excellent, but we didn’t bother with smoothies as the blender in the condo was quite old. (It probably works great, but we didn’t try). We did a couple maintenance things (oiled the squeaky sliding screen and replaced one of the window slats) because it was easy. The fan over the dining table needs to be replaced. Despite the few little odd hiccups in the condo we were very happy with our stay in Kauai- tsunami evacuation and hurricane scare and all- and we would definitely go back for more memories!

Such an amazing place to relax and have fun with the family

We stayed at Jenni's condo for a week and had an amazing time. The condo is in a great location, barely 5 mins walk to Shipwreck beach and a few mins drive to Poipu beach. The resort pool is beautiful and very close to the condo. The condo is really well stocked with beach/pool toys, towels, tons of kitchen utensils - everything you need for a relaxing stay with the family!

Open and inviting

My husband and stayed here for five nights in March and had a wonderful time exploring the neighborhood, which is lovely. Lots to see and do as well as having a lovely pool to relax by. We never did find the hot tub, but that was okay, the pool was perfect. The management is fantastic and very responsive. The view is best from one end of the lanai. The paint inside the condo is on the dark side, even on the ceiling. It’s not light and bright which for us coming from the pacific NW, is kinda hard. But the condo is very comfortable with a great location. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Will stay here again!

This condo was perfect for our family! Had everything we needed and even more! My daughter is a goalkeeper for soccer and she found a soccer ball, she was sold. Condo was clean, location was phenomenal and check in was a breeze. Thank you for a memorable vacation. We will be staying here on our next Kauai adventure.

Very convenient to Poipu Hyatt meetings

We selected this home due to proximity to the Hyatt and the very favorable and accurate reviews. It was a pleasant 5 minute walk to my daily CME meetings at the Poipu Grand Hyatt. Every convenience was available and enjoyed. The lack of air conditioning might not suit those with poor tolerance for warm climates, but we felt fine.

Spacious Condo

Great location! Walking distance to Shipwreck beach and 5 minute drive to other beaches. Poipu beach great for all ages! The condo was very well equipped. Everything you need. Very comfortable and felt like home.. No air conditioning but plenty of fans everywhere.

Beautiful

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to Kauai. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable trip is supplied from Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, boogie boards, pool toys, tennis rackets etc. There is so much more but there isn’t room to mention it all. Being on the ground floor and just steps away from the pool was so nice! It’s a very quick and beautiful walk to shipwreck beach, and about a 10 min car ride to Brenneke and Poipu beaches. We ate in so many great restaurants, Keoki’s Paradise was a favorite but they’re all great. We drove into Koloa, great little shops, lovely selection of places to eat. We traveled all over the island, stunning scenery everywhere! Waimea canyon looks like a painting. And so nice to come back at the end of the day to relax in this beautiful condo. Very comfortable beds. It was a bit hot some nights with no AC but there are plenty of ceiling and plug in fans to help keep you cool. This is a really nice place to stay and we will be back for sure!

perfect location

This is one of the most well equipped vacation rental that we've ever stayed at. All you could ask for and then some. From the well equipped kitchen , the Bbq supplies , and beach chairs and umbrellas, this unit has it all. And of course the peaceful and beautiful view was very relaxing. I'd highly recommend this VRBO . We had a very nice stay. thank You.

Another perfect stay in Poipu

The property was well located and had just about every amenity you can think of. It was clean and very handy for the conference at the Grand Hyatt I was attending. I will definitely stay here again if I can, next time out meeting is in Poipu. The only thing that was less than perfect for the week was the weather, but we can't do anything about that!

Sitting on the patio drinking coffee during the sunrise is exactly why you want to stay here. The perfect place to relax with everything you need for staying in or visiting the beach only a minute away. Definitely coming back!

Best Family Friendly condo in Poipu

My family of 7 traveled to Kauai the first part of October. We had 6 adults and 1 infant. The condo was so well equipped with everything a family would need to enjoy themselves both within the condo and outside. Tons of beach toys and a pak n play for the infant. This saves so much hassle to travel with all that gear. It is located on a beautiful property, that has fabulous views of the ocean. Easy walk to Shipwreck's Beach and the Grand Hyatt, as well as easy drive (could walk, but hard with an infant) to the other amazing beaches nearby. Super clean and Jenn was very responsive to a few questions we had during our stay. We will definitley return to this condo. Thanks for sharing it!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful trip with a large family group occupying this floor unit and another floor unit. The kids could run back and forth safely, chase lizards, swim with the adults. It was simply heaven! Great location.

beautiful property

location is great, with stunning sunrises, and hearing the soothing sound of the waves, especially at night..Also how the friendly birds that come right up to you on the lanai...My favorites were the zebra doves (smallest of doves) and the cardinals..The pool is fantastic and the bbq's grills worked out nice...Saved alot of money cooking our own food..Shipwreck beach is ok, but beware, very strong waves and undertows...Overall, we loved staying here...Thanks
