Getaway and enjoy a peaceful cove on Norris Lake. The home will accommodate 14 within the 5 bedrooms and 4 baths making it perfect for a large family, multi families or golfers getaway. There are 2 family rooms and a fully equip kitchen and laundry. Guests have use of one assigned boat slip, which is just a short walk down a paved path. Enjoy the sunset and view from one of three levels of decks in the 'no wake' zone, cove perfect for swimming. .

Located in the desirable Deerfield Resort, a private gated community offering to its guests an 18-hole championship golf course, restaurants, swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, children's playground, and private airstrip. The home is situated in a quiet cove just minutes by water to Shanghai, Sugar Hollow, and Springs Marinas on Norris Lake. . Norris Lake is one of the best spots in the nation for striper, walleye, and small mouth fishing.

Family weekend at Norris Lake

Nice home with plenty of room. Property owner was responsive to the issue we had with the TV. Deerfield is a nice part of the lake to stay in. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The house was just as posted and was everything we needed for a Great Lake vacation. We go every year and this house did not disappoint. The host was also very gracious as my partner left her watch at the house and made sure she got it back. We would for sure rent this house again!

Labor Lake Family trip

We so enjoyed our stay as a family. The house is family friendly from the bedrooms to the main floor all open to the paved path to the lake. Yes there are steps inside the house. We also enjoyed the view & the convenience of the location on the lake. The ice machine was such an added bonus. Sauley, Lawley & Weaver

Norris Lake Vacay

The property was beautiful, the a/c worked so well (super important since there was a heat advisory), and there was enough space for everyone to have their own bed. The only thing I was not prepared for was the very steep walk down to the dock. We did fine with it, but if you have mobility issues, this could be an issue. Mark was very easy to contact and we had no issues with our stay. I would certainly stay again. Gorgeous property, gorgeous views, and an amazing clear lake.

Great only one short coming

As advertised…we had a great time the only thing that disappointed us was that the outside decks and furniture really need a cleaning. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t use the outdoor space. It just needs a good power washing. It is a great house though!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. I do apologize and agree with you on outside. Unfortunately the soonest date the guy could get there to pressure wash was the day you left. He was actually there waiting for you to pull out and get started. The outside including the house itself,the driveway, the deck,the rug and all the furniture has all been preasured washed

Love The Lake

The lake and the view from the house is beautiful. There are NO BATH TOWELS, WASH CLOTHES or HAND TOWELS... read that again. There are no working TVs in any bedroom. The climb from the dock to the house is not meant for those that are not active. We took my 68 y.o. Mother up and down it in a cart on wheels. With that being said the view is gorgeous. The house ( the mattresses and couch) needs updated, but, we weren’t in the house only to sleep. Owner was very responsive. Washer & dryer was nice. The industrial ice machine and second refrigerator was amazing!! Loved the fire pit. Overall it was a great place to stay.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. I am also glad you appreciated the extras that we have tried to provide that many others properties do not have such as the ice maker and fire pit and extra refrigerator. I am sorry you felt the mattresses were not up to standard. We replaced all but one only 5 years ago. We also went for a much higher grade than the typical. Other reviews from guest have noted how nice they are and appreciated those upgrades. I do understand your concern regarding towels. I do clearly state that no towels are provided in the Vrbo listing post under bathrooms. This allows guests to know this before booking. You can read that again when you have a chance. I also provide a detailed package of information before your stay letting you know to bring them. The reason towels are not provided is laundry and cleaning fee. That fee is based on beds and people staying. If we were to provide towels for 14 people the laundry cost would need to be passed on to the guest. We found that although it can be an inconvenience the reduction in cleaning fee is worth it. The hill can definitely be challenging but it is also very typically of houses on Norris lake. Other guest reviews have pointed this out as well. As far as the TV concern. There are 2 newer smart TV’s located in the living areas that do work. After recently switching from cable to internet TV the one TV that is not a smart tv was left In the only bedroom that is large enough to have a TV. Sorry for that confusion I have since removed that tv.

Amazing cove located in Deerfield

Mark was amazing to book with. Responded right away everytime with our many questions! Upon arrival the house was clean and tidy and had everything you will need. Tons of pots pans cookies sheets and cooking utensils. The extra fridge and ice machine is amazing to have. I have to say, the beds are some of the most comfortable ever to have on a vacation. It truly felt like our beds from home. We were asleep almost as soon as we laid down with how cozy they were. They have plenty of bedding in case you need extra! We loved the fact that there were Zero TVs in the bedrooms and the kids didn't even miss not having them. It was such a great week with cousins getting to spend so much time together free of all the electronics. They are all still talking about it. As far as parking goes there was plenty of space, we fit a Bronco, two sedans, a suburban, and a F150 in the driveway. It was perfect for our family and we cannot wait to plan to come back again! Thank you Mark for providing such a great vacation. Rental!

Wonderful stay! Perfect cove!

Home was clean, comfortable, and just as pictures show. Our party consisted of 2 families with adult children. The house had everything we needed. Mark the owner was helpful, easy to work with and communicated all information we needed very well. The cove the house is on is calm, quiet and away from outside boat traffic. Perfect for families and a swim close to the dock. The house is situated on side of a pretty steep hill/mountain. Therefore, the walk to and from the dock from the house can be a bit exhausting , but it is doable. Most houses on Norris lake are like this so it was no surprise. Just a heads up. Deerfield, Shanghai, and Sugar Hollow are the closest marinas. We would be happy to stay again.

Excellent place to stay!

We have been to Norris five other times, and this is by far the best place we've stayed! The owners were very easy to communicate with, Deerfield is awesome, the location on the lake was great, the house was very clean, and they provided plenty of extra items (garbage bags, detergent, toilet paper, etc.). I *must* add that the beds were soooooooo comfortable!!! (I have never been able to say that about any other VRBO rental) We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay.

We have been vacationing at Norris about 25 years. Every previous year, we rented a houseboat. This year, the boat we rented had some mechanical issues so we had to make alternative plans on a very short notice. Luckily, this property was available. The multilevel decks were awesome and provided a great view. The dock was just a short walk down a ramp, which made for easy access to our boat. The house was clean and well furnished. The unexpected bonus was the ice machine. It was perfect for filling coolers before we started our day on the lake. Highly recommended.

GREAT LOCATION AND WELL KEPT AREA

I have been staying at Norris Lake for years and this area is one of the nicest and our property was in perfect shape. Everything was newer in the house and updated. And the owner took care of all our needs. Thank you and I would stay here again.

Nice house for 3 families

Nice, well-maintained property. Good location. Comfortable beds, and enough space for our party of 12. The setup of 2 living areas was great with a group of teens/tweens. The freezer and extra fridge was also fantastic. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and then some, except maybe a griddle. The walk up from the dock can be a challenge. Overall, it was a great stay & I would recommend.

Wonderful Stay

Our family had a wonderful time at this home. We enjoyed the property and the location. Only suggestions we could make is to sharpen the knifes, purchase more forks, and blow off the sidewalk on the pathway down. The house is very well equipped for a large family. This is our third time staying at a house on Norris Lake and this house had the nicest set up out of all the houses.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the lake. The water in the lake is pleasantly warm for swimming. We rented a double-deck pontoon boat one day ($300) at a Marina. The hike from the house down to the lake, and then back up to the house, should not be underestimated.
