You will love this beautiful, fully-equipped NEWLY REFRESHED beach vacation condo at Bermuda Bay Beach and Racquet Club. This 2-bedroom 2-bathroom unit is the perfect size for a young family or two couples. Comfortably located in a safe, gated and secluded beachfront property on Boca Ciega Bay. Indulge yourself with a PRIVATE BEACH, two heated pools, hot tub, tennis courts, pickleball courts, an outdoor racquetball room, shuffleboard, picnic areas, playground, a putting green, and lush tropical gardens surrounding the property. Just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport (TPA) or 15 minutes from St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport (PIE).
Our fully-furnished vacation condo offers almost 1200sq.ft of open plan design and comes complete with towels, linens, cookware, dishes, cutlery, pool toys, and more! It has a full kitchen with everything you’ll need to prepare your meals and entertain your guests, including a dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, and microwave.
Our well-appointed and tastefully decorated condo features brand new vinyl plank flooring in every room. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a spacious walk-in closet, flat-screen TV with cable and an ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, a spacious walk-in closet, a flat-screen TV with cable and connects to the main bathroom which has a shower and bathtub and a separate vanity area. In the very spacious living room, there’s a 50-inch flat-screen TV which includes 70+ cable channels and an office area for a laptop connected to high-speed internet.
Enjoy sunsets on the bay right from the private beach---only one minute walk from your door. Bring your drink and slip off your shoes to enjoy the soft white sand between your toes. Awaken to gorgeous gardens and tropical palm trees while sipping coffee on our cozy sunny lanai.
Shopping and restaurants in Downtown Saint Petersburg are only 15 minutes away (30 minutes on a bicycle). The nearby Gulf beaches are even closer…7 minutes to Pass-A-Grille beach and only 10 minutes to St. Pete’s Beach---Voted the #1 beach in the USA! For sports fans, Tampa Bay offers three pro teams within a half-hour drive.

retirement not a resort

Built in the 1970s and no upgrades since. Metal stairs are rusted wear shoes . The unit has the original post formed formica countertops. The pool ( cesspool ) by the tennis courts is not a pool but looks to be ready for demolision. Don't talk on the screen porch at night or security will be called on you. The front pool by the bay is nice but the hot tub was closed most of the time. pool co sucks. In 3+ weeks construction on the stairs on bld 59 & 60 went nowhere . Nice trail system out back of the units. Our units was not cleaned when we arrived. Had to call owner and wait 4 hours for the cleaner.

As an avid animal lover I’m sure it was very difficult for you to have to kennel your dog while you were here. I can understand how you might feel upset about that and I’m sure it impacted your vacation. Although this unit is advertised as a no pet policy sometimes it’s easy to forget to check that.

Winter in Florida Rocks!

Being a St. Pete native, I knew just where this condo complex was located and chose it for it's proximity to places we wanted to visit, but knew it would be a quiet retreat once our outings were concluded. I also chose this property for the square footage and 2br/2ba feature. Looking around, this seemed to be the best value for the season. The private beach and pool are great conveniences! The top floor condo was spacious and had all you need for your visit. It set up well for telecommuting, as well. The laundry is close by, as is the Pinellas Trail for bike riding. We rode over to beachfront Gulfport several times. Many of the units in the development are vacation rentals. Updating exteriors is in progress. Parking is convenient and available. The security is a bonus. Once we headed home, we immediately started planning our next visit to St. Pete!

Almost perfect!

When I read the previous reviews they mentioned the steps on the condo needing replacement, I agree. They really bring down the look of the complex. The condo was well equipped.(except a half decent mob & broom) Other than this it was wonderful! I would definitely consider renting again.

Great location, overall nice, but needs a little TLC

Loved: The general location -- easy to get to St. Pete beach, Ft. DeSoto, etc. Wal-Mart two mins. one way, Publix two mins other way. The pools!! -- Really warm, if one is crowded other is not, big enough to actually swim. The beach area -- nicer than it looks in photos and lovely for sunsets. The Clam Bayou -- great nature viewing, walking. The general "vibe" -- very relaxed, family-friendly, welcoming. Liked: The condo itself. Large, very well laid out, extremely well provisioned including beach towels, chairs, pool noodles, plenty of kitchenware, three tv's, very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are perfectly functional but need some cosmetic TLC. The porch was okay until we started air conditioning at which point the noise and heat from the a/c made it less pleasant. A/C worked well and ceiling fans were nice A bit of a drawback: The security system -- no way to let in guests remotely so you have to go to the gate each time with the swipe card if you have guests. Be sure you get a key to the bayou and sufficient number of gate swipe cards for your needs. Overall the place is fairly well maintained except that the staircases are in dire need of complete sandblasting and re-painting which really detracts from the appearance. We will definitely keep this place in mind for another future stay.

Sunsets in Paradise

The worst thing about Bermuda Bay was leaving! We enjoyed our 2- month stay so much we are coming back for 3 months next winter. It is conveniently located under 15 minutes from everything the area has to offer and being able to watch the sunset from the beach each night was priceless. The community of owners and snow birds welcomed and included us in activities. With 2 pools, a private beach, tennis courts and pickleball players as well as scheduled activities at the clubhouse one doesn’t need to leave to stay busy. But, don’t miss yoga on the beach and dances at the casino in Gulfport. Kim is incredibly responsive and made sure our needs were met. From replacing the laundry card when the dryer ate ours to replacing the refrigerator when it began to leak, Kim clearly wanted to ensure our comfort. We have recommended Kim and Bermuda Bay to all our friends.

5th time staying and gets better every time!!

We travel from Missouri every year to St. Petersburg. We love staying in Burmuda Bay and in this condo! The property is wonderful and Kim takes care of everything we need. We are looking forward to another stay soon!!

The condo at Bermuda Bay is a perfect beach vacation!

We had a wonderful month at Bermuda Bay. The location is close to great beaches and downtown St. Pete. The unit was very nice and well equipped to feel like home. The pools are wonderful and the residents very welcoming. Kim was super to work with!

Amazing Stay

The home is beautiful and everything I dreamed when spending time with family over the weekend. We had a small wedding at the house and was able to entertain my entire family. The kids had a great time using the pool and game room. Everything was perfect due to this lovely home and the owner's prompt responses. I could not have asked for a more perfect home and our family will always remember our stay at Boca Bay House. The best thing is the owners are wonderful and easy to work with. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!!

Awesome stay for business travel!!

I recently traveled to St. Pete/Sarasota for business. I stayed in this condo and it was perfect. The location was quiet and secluded while at the same time close to everything I needed. I will definitely book this unit again!!

Great place!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Very nice location, quiet, clean and well kept. Reasonable price as well. Kim, the owner is great to work with and is available if needed. Community is gated and there is a guard on duty in the evenings. Thx for making our 10 day vacation a great one!

Great Vacation thanks to this condo!!!

We absolutely loved the condo. It was the perfect size with exactly what you would need for a home away from home. The pool right next to the private beach was awesome (we went every day). It is conveniently located and just a short drive from the St. Pete Beach area. It's also just a short drive to Busch Gardens as well. The condo complex is just far enough away from everything to still be quiet and relaxing though. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our vacation great.

Great Time In St. Petersburg!

We had a girls weekend getaway and stayed in this condo. We loved the fact that it was a gated community and the private beach/pool was AMAZING!! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We had to contact the owner once with a question and she was great! We will definitely make this an annual thing now that we have a great place to stay! Thanks for the great service and the comfortable accommodations.

clean but poor customer service

When we got there, we were told there would be a guard there with our information if we arrive after 5 p.m. The owner failed to tell us that the guard leaves at 11 p.m. communication was slightly lacking ... this could have been partly my fault. However, when I call the owner and state I have a problem getting in and don't receive a call back the entire week of my stay - I call that poor customer service! Obviously we got in... and the condo was very clean and safe and location was good. Very nice neighborhood. Short drive to nice beaches.

Here at our beautiful Bermuda Bay Beach the guards are always on duty every day from 5:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. From time to time, they do leave their post to make their rounds and walk the property. It doesn't take them long to get back to the guard shack at the gate. It's just one more level of safety provided at our beautiful Bermuda Bay Beach. We try not to disturb our guests while they are on vacation unless it is absolutely necessary.

Description misleading, no water view from condo. Unit needs significant updating. Especially, bathrooms, kitchen, t,v's and carpeting. Linens, towels and bedcovers need replacing. Condo is very dark. Dogs barking in adjacent unit bark most of the day. Common problem throughout the development. Pool and beach very nice, but no swimming in the bay. Good fishing from shore. Bermuda Bay is an older development.

Althought there is no water view (and no water view is advertised) it is a beach front complex and about a 45 second walk to the private beach. This very quaint beach condo has all the amenities one could want and a very peaceful setting. Linens are replaced frequently as necessary. The sunsets are amazing! Come and enjoy......

Clean, quiet & comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was in very good condition, it was quiet, and the owners thought of everything travelers would need, including beach toys & umbrellas as well as providing all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for preparing meals, and the screened in porch was a nice bonus for breakfast! The pool and hot tub were wonderful treats at night after a day at the beach, and the view of the bay behind the pool spectacular. Highly recommend staying here!

Bahama Bay June/July 2013

We rented this condo for 30 days from mid-June to mid-July 2013. We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. First, the owner of the condo is amazing. She was extremely responsive to any request we made during our visit. For example, I sent her an e-mail that the vacuum cleaner in the apartment did not seem to be working. I received a return e-mail almost immediately that a brand new vacuum, in the box, was sitting outside the front door. Also, the A/C unit stopped working early one morning. The owner had a repair crew out later in the morning and by the end of the day everything was working again. Couldn't ask for better support from the owner! Now about the condo, the location is very good. 15 minutes drive takes you to st. pete beach's, downtown st. pete, Fort Desoto, or to Gulfport restaurants. Now, there is really nothing immediately nearby, but, if you don't mind a short drive it's close to everything. The condo itself is in a older community, but, everything is well maintained. The pool area right on the bay is extremely nice and we spent a lot of time either at the pool, or, just watching the sunset behind St. Pete beach. Finally, the condo itself is clean and well maintained. (Though the carpet in the master bedroom could use a deep cleaning). The condo is stocked with everything needed to cook and clean. In fact, it is stocked with beach chairs, umbrella's, and sand toy's for the kids for when you go to the beach. You could certainly find places direct on the beach, or, a lot newer. But, for the price, location, and the support of the owner this vacation condo in st. pete area is hard to beat.

St. Petersburg stay

I had a wonderful time and the property was fully equipped with everything anyone would need to vacation. There were chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers, and mats for the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked and includes a dishwasher. The outside patio was nice to sit out in during the morning and late evening. The security guard was very helpful when assisting us in and out of the complex. The private beach was awesome, we were the only ones on it that day and was very relaxing.

Spring Break Fun!

We enjoyed our stay at Bermuda Beach, the condo was just as shown. Clean and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the beach and the pools! We would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Nice well equipped condo in Bermuda Bay-St. Petersburg

We enjoyed our stay in this nicely furnished condo. The bed was comfortable. There was an ample supply of linens. All bathroom and kitchen necessities were provided, including hair dryers in each bathroom. The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Wifi was included, but no phone service in the unit. The owner responded promptly and to our satisfaction when we contacted her with requests. I give the unit 4 stars instead of 5, because the carpet in the bedrooms needs attention or replacing, and the bathrooms and kitchen though very serviceable have not been updated, and I think the rental rate is a little high.

A relaxing stay in St. Petes!

Staying at this property, we were pleasantly surprised by the truth in the description of this rental property. What was described in the rental was exactly or superior to what was advertised. The unit was clean & modern, with plenty of bathroom items, including fluffy bath & face towels & kitchen utensils, plates & cutlery to use. The amenities at the resort were very close in proximity to the unit. The 2 pools & hot tub were clean & inviting. The clubhouse was nice and the tenants there all seemed quite friendly. It being in a gated "community" we felt very safe & secure. Bermuda Bay St. Pete's is ideal, for families, couples & snowbirds. And this condo, was a comfortable home away from home for our family, which includes kids ages 8 to 13. We'll definitely book again for next year!
