Beach week

Sofas in family are tired and need replacing to provide better seated comfort. Upon checkin, upstairs primary bathroom shower wall was not properly cleaned of hair. Downstairs door to carport could not be opened. Otherwise nice property with beautiful beach views and great weather last week.

Weekend Stay

Had a great time. House was awesome and it had more than enough room for everyone. Loved having all the amenities available. Third floor was the only floor with a great view. Easy check-in / check-out process

Property needs a little TLC

Overall it was a good stay. We stay in ALOT of vacation properties throughout the year. I have learned that unless absolutely necessary, don't call for repairs during your stay. (I don't want repair men in the home while I am vacationing) Although there were a few issues in this home, I didn't call for a repair because we could live with it for the week. 1. Beautiful location, beautiful beach, 2. Home was big enough for everyone. No one felt like they were sitting on top of one another. There was enough seating for our family while relaxing in the living room 3. Home needs some TLC and improvements a. Master spa tub leaks into the master bath below, and no we didn't overflow the tub. I don't know where the leak was coming from except that the light fixture in the master below had water coming out of it. b. No screens in the windows of the bedrooms. I go to the OCEAN to hear the waves at night while I go to sleep. I wasn't comfortable leaving the windows or doors open without screens c. kitchen isn't well equipt. The knives won't cut butter, let alone tomatoes, steaks, chicken ect. There wasn't a large frying pan for eggs. The spatulas and tongs were melted and stretched out d. The grill was just gross. There is a small charcoal grill that is disgusting and there is a pile of burnt charcoal dumped into the grass right beside it. e. You will need to bring your own chairs for the beach. The ones provided are broke and there were only a couple chairs. The home was clean for what it was. I was comfortable with the bedding. It does need a little TLC.

Not clean, showers we're only Luke warm with no pressure,had to call for propane when went to cook and there was no tank hot tub jets stopped working ice maker not working mold In bathroom and on ceiling vents pool was not heated well only 1 towel per person for 1 week no Xtra sheets 1 toilet paper per bathroom only 1 dish washer pack this is ridiculous I have a rental on VRBO and you are suppose to supply that stuff I don't recommend this place and don't know how it's on VRBO

August 2018 Stay

This house is fantastic! It's got everything you'd want for an OBX vacation including close access to the beach, great decks, a pool, hot tub, pool table and putting green. The inside of the house is well furnished, recently updated, and very comfortable for our family. It's located on a very nice culdesac within a well kept community. We will definitely come back and stay!

May 2018 Stay

The house was well decorated and the kitchen had everything you needed for your stay. Loved having 2 refrigerators and dishwashers! The kids loved the little picnic table. The adults enjoyed the pool table and everyone had fun on the putting green! It was nice to have sheets and towels provided, even though the towels were a little rough. We had several maintenance issues, but they were handled quickly by Village Realty. The pool and hot tub were very clean and we enjoyed them everyday. There were no screens in the windows which was a bummer as we do not like air conditioning when the weather is nice and tons of bugs came in. Some of the deck furniture needed cushions to be used. The cushions that were there (not enough for all the chairs) were ripped up and need to be replaced. And we had some visitors on the walkway! Be careful, they are harmless, he was obeying the sign to stay off the dunes!

We are enjoying our stay here very much. The house is wonderful. There are several items that need attention but I sent a small list to the realtor already. I'm sure they will be taken care of. We will be returning to this house in 2018!

September 2017 Stay

We just left SS 22 after a two week vacation. This was our 11th year in the same house. I do think it may be time for some updates on the furniture. The couches in the living room are getting very worn.There is a need for a new mattress on the middle floor in the room that has a small kitchenette. We were all disappointed that the lights that line the driveway we're not working this year. They're so nice to have to walk down the driveway in the evenings. That might be something that could get fixed. This house is not always the cleanest however this year we are not real sure it was cleaned very well at all. The floors were extremely dirty. There were no towels in the bath upstairs either one. We just grabbed towels from the bedrooms downstairs that weren't being used this year. We did have issues with the pool heater this year but the pool maintenance people were right on it. Got it fixed right away and double checked it. We're always very happy with the village realty people that we meet here.

August 2017 Stay

For almost 20 years, my family and friends have been renting in Nags Head through Village Realty. For the first time, I was completely disappointed in the house and service provided. We spent a lot of money for his house in addition to arrive early and except for the location, it was not worth close to this price. When we arrived the house and surrounding areas was dirty. It was not cleaned well inside or out. We contacted Village Realty and the first thing they said was not to worry that we had insurance. We didn’t break anything! I then went to the Village Realty Office. I was assured that everything would be fixed. A cleaning crew did arrive but asked what we wanted cleaned. They needed to be directed on everything. After an hour, we gave up as our vacation was not about hand holding someone else’s responsibility. I received numerous follow up calls but nothing changed. If we wanted the rugs to be cleaned, someone had to be at the home since we had a pet. Again, we were on vacation at the beach why wasn’t

May 2017 Stay

Seaside22 was a beautiful well decorated home. We had more than enough room for everyone. The extra fridge and dishwashers were a bonus. Easy access to the ocean. Plenty of parking. All attractions were close by. We have rented many times through Village Realty and will continue. We are never disappointed! As a matter of fact see you in September! Renting another condo this time.

October 2016 Stay

We came a week after hurricane Matthew. We are amazed at how resilient this community is. The house suffered a little during the storm, but was still very enjoyable. The house is in a wonderful location and the beach, hot tub and pool were perfect. The house is in need of updating and several things need replacing (furniture, appliances, deck cushions, mattress). This house is pet friendly. The house is not as clean as one would expect, I did not call or take pictures because I do not want my vacation to be spent with others in the house working on things or going around taking pictures. Property management should come visit and make their own punch list. Would not rent this house again unless updated, remodeled - then we would love to return.

June 2016 Stay

House was very clean. Had a few minor issues during our stay. Were taken care of immediately. House met all our needs. Had 14 people during our stay and had plenty of room. Just steps to beach. Pool and hot tub were perfect. Great location. Lots in area to do and plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was nice. Loved the area and location. The air conditioner came on and black soot flew everywhere. There were no pots to cook with. The cable channels were limited and not in HD. Thanks.
