This seven bedroom home is complete with game room, surround sound, outside deck speakers, private pool (05/01 to 10/10), hot tub, and plenty of places to lounge the summer away. Nestled into “Gallery Row”, you’re only three houses back from the ocean which puts you close to the beach and all the attractions of the Outer Banks while you’re insulated from the traffic and people.

Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the beach, the Beach Bum Inn is a family friendly destination where leisure meets life! Has hardwood floors through out and TVs with live streaming channels on all TVs.

The house is very nicely laid out with room and supplies for many people! It’s close to the beach, with close access to groceries and restaurants. The host, Ben, was super responsive to questions and very accommodating. The hot tub was very relaxing after a few hours of pickleball!

My family and I had a great time staying in Nags Head this past week. The house was wonderful it met all of our needs, all the comforts of home. I appreciated the host who maintained an open door policy, before and during our staff. He answered all our questions, even the silly ones.The house is located in a great spot, short walk to the beach, grocery store and coffee shop.

Perfect

Kitchen was equipped with lots of large bowls and serving platters. Plenty of plates and flatware for a large group (14). The pool was great and the hot tub was fantastic. Grocery store and fantastic ice cream place within a few blocks walk. Beach access was just a block away. 2 refrigerators was nice to have.

Host was very responsive to questions. Jim was very responsive to what we needed. House layout was very nice, we loved the location. Pool area was great. Improvements: was not as clean as I would have liked, example kitchen counter was sticky, food stuck on plates, dirty glasses and silverware, pee on bottom of toilet, we had to do cleaning before we felt comfortable. Some of the furnishings were very old and really should be replaced (like the couch). I realize rental houses are well used, and I don't expect it to be perfect. But for 9K for a week, I would have liked clean.

The home was super convenient to get to the beach and the pool was great as well. There was a close parking lot that led to the beach in case you needed to drive beach supplies but it was close enough to walk to as well. The home is also located close to the main strip where grocery stores, shopping, the dunes, etc. are located. Our one negative of the home was the cleanliness. The people who clean the home were still working on it when we arrived so they may have rushed to let us in on time. Some beds weren't made and some of the bathrooms and bedrooms were not recently cleaned. We had to take some time of our first day there to vacuum and wipe areas down. If the home would have been cleaned properly, I would have rated it 5 stars.

The perfect home away from home

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kids lived in the pool on the days it didn’t rain and didn’t want to go home. There was so much room that when we needed to separate, we were able to go to our respective rooms and chill. I loved the accommodations for our 15 month old. There were baby gates, high chairs, a crib, and 2 pack and plays that were available for use. I never found the baby monitor but it was enough of us that we could keep up with her. The beach wasn’t far, but there were too many steps for my mom to have to go up and down to enjoy the beach, so i wouldn’t recommend for families that need accessibility features. Overall, i would definitely come and stay again if we had the opportunity.

Family obx trip

We had a great week in OBX. House was just the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. Pool is wonderful to come back to from the beach and enjoy. Location was great for the beach, shopping and restaurants. Ben was very easy to communicate with. Our only complaint was for the bedroom on the ground floor the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. It is a nice house and the kitchen in well-appointed with cooking and eating utensils. There are 2 hand blenders. The rooms on the second and third floor are nice. However, the knob on the bathroom sink comes off in your hand. The 1st floor queen bed squeaks very loudly whenever you move. So that is a drag, if there are two people sleeping in it. The bathrooms that are shared could use more towel racks or put towel racks and/or hooks in the bedrooms. The first floor bathroom that is shared is especially small and could use a shelf as well as at least another towel racks and hooks. Finally, for all of the people that the house can sleep, the gathering room (3rd floor) has very few seats that are comfortable - basically only seating for 5 comfortably or at most 7, if you cram yourselves in. It would be nice if there were additional comfortable seating. We would rent again but probably with fewer people. There were 11 of us.

Nice house, good locale.

Really enjoyed this house. Clean. Very close to beach. Responsive host. Appreciate that it already had basic amenities (tp, hand and dish soap, paper towels) upon arrival so that we didn’t have to go to the store immediately upon arrival.

Family wedding

The property was very clean and the host was very responsive when we communicated with him. My only recommendation would be that the decking and railings on the front entry way and top floor be repaired. Several members of our group including small children received slivers

Great for 2 Families

House was in a great location and had plenty of space for 2 families to spread out. We did find areas that looked like they had been missed by housekeeping in regards to vacuuming, but overall it was a good experience for our trip.

Great House

My family had a great time vacationing in this house. It had everything we needed and a great location. The only complaint I have is all the hard surfaces such as pool lounge chairs, bar stools and kitchen chairs. Cushions on these surfaces would make a big difference in guests comfort.

Awesome Vacation!

Our stay at the Beach Bum Inn was great! The house worked out wonderful for my family. Close to the beach, pool and the hot tub were relaxing after a day at the beach. My teenage granddaughter doesn’t like the sand so she really loved the pool. Ben was very accommodating and quickly answered my questions. Would stay there again in a minute.

Perfect Vacation

Our family of 11 had an amazing week at the beach bum Inn! The house had every thing we needed. It was great not having to worry about sheets and towels. The house was well stocked with the comforts of home. There was plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and pool toys for the kids. The hot tub was an added plus. This was our first time to Nags Head and we will definitely be back.

Great stay in Nags Head

Although hampered by weather my family had a wonderful stay in Nags Head. The property was clean and as advertised. The host Ben was incredibly responsive to a few inquiries I had to make and the people working for Ben were very cordial and respectful when they stopped by. I would stay at this property again.

Nice Large House Near The Beach

Perfect house for a large family group. Pool & hot tub were well-maintained and very enjoyable. Distance from Nags Head beach is ideal here in the third row, away from the busy street. You can't actually view the beach from this property's balcony, but it's a very short walk. The only small drawbacks were a lack of paper products, dish soap & garbage bags at the house when we arrived, but there's a large grovery store around the corner so we just grabbed what we needed instead of complaing to the host; I'm sure it was just a minor oversight & not a big deal to us at all. If you need a dog-friendly, kid-friendly house near the beach with plenty of bedrooms, this one should do nicely.

A great place for a family trip

This 7 bedroom property was perfect for our family of 14. The location is great-a short walk to the beach, short walk to grocery store, coffee shop, and ice cream. Having a pool in the backyard was great for the kids. Kitchen well equipped. Quick email response from Ben with questions. A good time was had by all.

Great Location and Plenty of Room for All

The house was very clean and had plenty of room for four families! Loved having plenty of bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. The pool and hot tub were both very clean and well used by all. A short walk to the beach was great for the littles! This is a very nice house with plenty of room and stocked with all the amenities you could ask for!

I was born and raised in Charlottesville Va and live with my Wife, 10 year old son, and dog. I own an AV company in the area and have a few properties that I rent out. I have been coming to the Outer Banks for vacation every year as far back as I can remember. I love to go surfing, fishing, working out, and eating fresh seafood in the great restaurants that the Outer Banks has to offer.

We found this house in 2006 when looking for a home we could rent out during the peak season and stay in when we wanted a break from reality. This house was large enough to be able to entertain several large family's but cozy enough to enjoy the family time. The street is very quiet and safe for children which is very important to us. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and galleries from the house.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We really enjoy the large Family, Living, and Dining Area on the top floor and of course Pool and Decks are great. The Game Room on the Ground Level is also great when you need a break from the kids! The Kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for your vacation. You cannot beat the location for shopping, activities, restaurants, and art galleries. There is a great surf shop (Farmdogs) right around the corner that rents surfboards, paddle boards, bike, and provides lessons. We love the Sea Glass shop on the Beach Road in front of the house. There is small path into the trees with a bench that will allow sneak away for some peace and quiet while still being right next to the house.
