Escape from reality at Dry Creek Cabin!

Come experience country living at its finest! Dry Creek Cabin is located in Tuscumbia, Missouri, at the end of a quiet gravel road, settled at the bottom of a beautiful valley. A secluded, enchanting escape from modern headaches, with no internet or cable to interfere.

Our 1,000 sq. ft. rustic cabin is packed with modern amenities. It has all of the comforts of home, and then some! So come to get away, kick back, and let all of the worries of a busy life melt away.

Once you are rejuvenated and want to explore a little, the city of Eldon is right up the road and Lake of the Ozarks is only a short 20 minute drive away. With an endless variety of restaurants, activities, entertainment and shopping, you are sure to find something fun!

Cancellation Policy:
Payment reserves requested dates. Payment can be refunded if owners are notified a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation within 14 days of reserved dates forfeits one half of payment. No arrival on indicated dates forfeits entire payment.

Terms & Conditions:
Check-in at Dry Creek Cabin will be after 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. Check out will be before noon on day of departure. No smoking, and no pets allowed.

1-2 Adults: $150/night plus tax, two night minimum stay
- $12 for each extra adult, maximum 4 adults
- Children 8 and under are free
- Maximum occupancy is 4 adults and 2 children, or 2 adults and
4 children.

Maximum occupancy of six individuals; four adults and two children, or two adults and four children. Must be at least 21 years of age, or married, to make a reservation. The owners of Dry Creek Cabin reserve the right to remove any non-compliant renters from the property at any time, per their discretion. Questions regarding any policy listed above should be submitted to the owners in advance of booking.

We had such a lovely time at Dry Creek Cabin! It was incredibly cozy and peaceful. We loved waking up every morning and watching the cows graze. We will definitely be staying here again - couldn't have asked for a better experience!

My wife needed to get away from everything. This was the perfect place for her to relax and get some peace. The owners were generous with vegetables from their garden, with their hospitality. And Dori, thanks for listening; she really needed that!

Amazing property tucked away from the world. We were only there for a couple days and wished it could have been a week! Will definitely stay again when visiting family in the area! Lovely hosts as well who came to visit and share history of the cabin.

Vacation Getaway

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time staying at the cabin! The cabin/property were very well taken care of and beautiful, and we had a very comfortable stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we decided to come back to the area. The owners were also great to communicate with and very friendly!

Just perfect

This little cabin was the perfect secluded place to unwind and disconnect. The hosts thought of little detail and my family of three felt right at home. If you are visiting the lake but would like to escape the hustle and bustle it’s just a short drive away. Check out the Amish grocery store in Eldon. Their made to order deli sandwiches were great.

Secluded solitude.

This was a great place to get away from it all. Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful scenery and absolutely everything you need is supplied. The cabin was great and the owners were even better!

Great place to getaway and disconnect

My wife and I stayed and thos cabin for the weekend to disconnect from everything. The hosts Tom and Dori were fantastic and very welcoming. The cabin is exactly as billed. No internet or cell service. Just a beautifl cabin surroundend by nature and animals. So peaceful. We absolutely loved it. Close enough to the lake if we wanted to get out. We will definitely be booking again!

Peaceful escape from the digital world

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. I got the best sleep I've had in years. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin. It's close to LOZ and the state parks. The owners are friendly, delightful and a pleasure to work with.

Great escape

We really liked the quiet outdoorsy feel. Great birdlife, turkey and deer in the fields. Modern cabin with good AC and lots of space. Short drive to the local History Museum for genealogy research. 20 min drive to restaurants and unique food stores (Mennonite) in Eldon MO. 35 mins drive to Lake of the Ozarks.

Our family trip

This was a beautiful and quiet slice of heaven tucked in the woods and fields of Tuscumbia, MO. We loved to hear the variety of birds in the early morning and watch the deer playing in the open fields. This place was super clean and the owners were very pleasant people to meet. We hope to be back! This is one of those rare special places.

All needs are met and utilities perfect, hotel price with 100 times the accommodations and privacy. Great way to explore the lake region, public land and Missouri conservation stream fishing.

Grandpa Isaac Newton Wright built the original home in the 1940's by cutting down trees from the farm and dragging them by horse to the home site.

We gutted his little 4-room homestead, changed the floor plan, remodeled in a rustic decor, added an attic loft/balcony for an additional sleeping area, added multiple windows for viewing the landscape, and a private study/reading area to thoroughly enjoy the solitude. You'll love it!
