Nice little home, we slept 5 comfortably. Home was clean, great location in a no wake cove, close to everything, bonus; it has a dock, so was great for the boat and fishing was great too. Quiet and Relaxing!

Very clean and great location. Perfect for our weekend getaway. The stairs down to the house are steep, but we were prepared as it was mentioned in the listing.

Great Lakefront Rental

We had a wonderful stay at this lakefront VRBO! The outdoor area was the real highlight of our stay. It was maintained well and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the water. The private dock was perfect for our group. We brought our own rafts to float with and access to the water was easy and convenient. The indoor area was a little small for our group to hangout, but the outdoor area definitely made up for it. We really enjoyed our time here and would come back!

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay at this cozy lake house. While the space was small, it worked well for our needs. We especially loved the easy access to the dock and spent most of our time enjoying the lake. The kitchen mostly met our needs, and the living area was a nice spot to unwind. We did notice fewer accessible outlets than expected and a lack of some basic kitchen items we've seen in other rentals. That said, it was a great getaway, and we truly enjoyed our time here.

Itā€™s a nice little place. You can tell dogs have been there before as it wasnā€™t totally clean. Also when we arrived there were someoneā€™s socks on the ground and a hat and bag of chips under the couch. Seems like they didnā€™t clean up from the people who stayed before us. The patio is really nice but it was COVERED in spider webs and there were a ton of bugs. This place has potential, decent location, however it was not clean at all.

Perfect Lake House

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at this beautiful home, which was a perfect romantic getaway. It is right on the water and close to many fun activities, so we would definitely stay here again!

Good but needs some attention

Lake of communication prior to our stay was frustrating but once my concerns got to the right person, while we were there, things were taken care of. This is a cozy little house, the outside covered patio was great with rainy days. We had a list of things that were broken or missing, all of which are easy fixes. If they fix them, this house would be a 4 star. Great Location!

Lake Views

Went down for my son's fishing tournament with the whole family - 5 of us. Bunk beds were a huge hit! "Master" bed was extremely comfortable. View was beautiful from the house, the back porch was WONDERFUL, bluegill were caught one after the other, didn't mind the stairs going to the house. Had everything you could need for a short weekend and games (although the memory game is missing some pieces - found out the hard way while flipping over 100 times - gave us a good laugh)! Would LOVE to come back!!

Lake house

This property was reserved for its location. Our friends were renting a big house for their family .8 miles away. However, we did enjoy the property even though we werenā€™t there a lot. The outside is nice in the evening. If we had a boat, the dock would have been perfect.

Perfect quiet retreat. Minutes away from the grocery store. Outdoor area/boat dock was everything and then some. Fishing was better than expected. Caught bass. Channel cat. Blue cat and drums.

Quiet cove close to bagnell dam

The house was perfect for two people. It was well appointed and clean. The large covered porch is nice but the fire pit needs work. Easy access to the lake and private dock. My only complaint is there are a lot of stairs to and from the house to parking that need handrails. Probably not a big deal if you're young and healthy. Overall we had a great time and the house had everything we needed. If you have a dog, it is a little difficult to find any grass for potty time.

Lakeside House But Steep Steps

Several steep steps leading to entry are without functioning solar lighting and not nearly enough installed for safety. Coffee maker is fine if you want to wait 15 minutes for eight cups to brew. Bed frame squeaks and mattress is so so. House is fine and in a quiet area overlooking the lake.

Nice and quiet, but not for the weak hearted

We had a very nice stay, but the climb down to the house and up to the parking area is horrendous for seniors with any kind of mobility or severe health conditions. There are 25 steps leading down to the house that are pretty steep and a section where the are no handrails. This made it extremely difficult to get our luggage up and down. The neighbor was so super nice and came running out of her house to help us get our stuff up to our car when we were departing. The lighting after dark needs some attention. We did leave the porch light on when we knew we would be home after dark, but didnā€™t help much on the first level near the parking area. Other than that, if you are young and healthy, I would recommend this property. Neighbors and their dogs are very friendly! Property owners was very prompt to address any of our issues.
