While our property has a strict non-smoking policy, we unfortunately cannot always control whether other guests follow the rules. Had we been made aware of the issue during your stay, we would have gladly contacted the neighboring guests and taken steps to address the situation. Regarding the stairs, our listing clearly notes that the home is located on the second floor so guests can determine whether it is a good fit for their needs before booking.
