This bright cheerful, newly remodeled condo at Maui Vista Resort is located across from one Maui's most popular & top rated beaches. Just minutes from your door white sandy, Charlie Young Beach Park/ Kamaole Beach Park I. Play in the waves, take a refreshing walk, or just relax enjoy the tropical serenity. Cove Park is with in 7 minutes walking, take on the S. Shore surfing "boards available to rent." This 1b/1b, offers a queen bed in bedroom, beautifully updated fully equipped kitchen "toaster, blender,dishes,pots/pans, and full size all new appliances ," washer/dryer, TV in living area, electronics, iron/iron board, beach gear, free internet, all linens provided as well. You private lanai is fantastic for Maui's glorious mornings, or anytime while enjoying the unit. The lush gardens and complex grounds are well manicured at the Maui Vista. BBQ grills, tennis courts and pools are located through out the complex for all guests use. Come visit this lovely home of Aloha!!

Great location

Overall a great place to stay, location is excellent if you want to be near restaurants, shops, beach all at once. Was great for us as I had my daughters with me who are young adults, so there was a lot they could do within walking distance. Furniture/decor in condo is dated but other than that is a nice size for 3 people, parking was never a problem. It had everything we needed, lots of extra towels etc.

Paradise found!

A perfect landing pad for our Maui adventures. Comfortable, easy, and well appointed --even with washer & dryer. Kids declared the fold-out sofa the most comfortable they've ever slept on (and they've got experience!) 500 steps (we counted) from the door to one of the best beaches on the island, and an easy stroll to the idyllic South Maui Gardens food carts.

Great area and unit

We have stayed at the Maui Vista several times and this was our first time in this unit and we will try to book this unit for next year. This unit is on the quiet side of the building with a beautiful view of several mature trees. The unit is well equipped for short or long stays. The Maui Vista is a clean well maintained complex within walking distances to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Ample free parking if you want to drive.

Loved this place! Separate bedroom and living room/kitchen area made it an amazing 5 night stay! Couldn’t imagine staying in a hotel room for that long, loved it!

Perfect for a small group and amazing beaches

Stayed here with 2 of my friends - had everything we could have needed! Everything was extremely clean, beautiful patio view, plenty of beach gear & towels, sofa bed was comfy to sleep on. Highly recommend Charley Young Beach right across the street.

Un énorme wow pour cet appartement! Merci aux hôtes! Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à Maui, notamment grâce à nos installations hors pair! L’appartement était beau, très propre, extrêmement bien équipé (dont blender, mijoteuse, chaises de plage, etc) et très bien situé tout près de la plage et des restaurants de Kihei! Je le recommande sans réserve!

Home!

We stayed here for 9 days and this place just felt like a home for us. It had everything we needed, shops, beach, restaurants, groceries everything was close by. Everything was clean, all appliances and furniture was well taken care of, loved having the washer n dryer in the unit. Loved everything about this place. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect for my purpose

The property has been renovated and is clean. Furnishings are a bit dated, but the property was perfect for my purpose. It faces the parking lot, but I was only on property to sleep so didn’t care. Great value for money versus other available properties that were available.

Family getaway

We travelled with our two children and enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal between Kamaole 1 and Cove Beach. You can swim and snorkel or surf all within steps. The rocks at Kamaole 1 are loaded with fish and turtles. The beach equipment was great. There were chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards and a seagrass mat. The condo upgrades were beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked (loved the rice maker!). We've stayed in Kamaole Sands in the past and preferred the amenities of that building, however, the location of Maui Vista is tough to beat. The only downfall was the noise from the parking lot outside the living room. Being a family of four we used the pull out bed and always had the windows open so we could hear anything going on. Otherwise we would stay again!

Scary Electrical, Horrible Management Company

Newly Remodeled, looked great. But the breaker started flipping on our hot water heater. The new (4500 watt) hot water heater was overloading the old (20 amp) circuit. A 4500 WATT APPLIANCE SHOULD BE ON A 25 AMP CIRCUIT MINIMUM. THE 12 GAGE WIRE WAS UNDERSIZED AS WELL. TO COMPLICATE THINGS, A PERMANENT CABINET WAS INSTALLED *OVER* THE SUBPANEL IN THE CONDO. These are all egregious code violations. An overloaded circuit that cant be fixed because there was no longer access to the subpanel??? Wow. If you need to know more than the above indisputable facts, keep reading... We were told it was a know issue they were "hoping had fixed itself" and we could a) Endure two days of construction to fix the issue b) Pay more to move to a nicer place! c) Stay in two other comparable places and have to move twice due to occupancy I was there on a budget with my husband and 8 month old daughter, so none of these options worked for us. We chose d) stay there without hot water. It was the least bad of bad options. Next day the neighbor's hot water heater (oh the irony!) flooded into ours and we understandable had no choice but to move. But when we asked if they were planning on compensating us for all of our trouble, Paradise Vacations dug in and wouldn't budge. And then it just got weird. We were given a $50 gift card and told we had chosen to stay without hot water, and we had already received $327 in compensation because they moved us to a nicer condo (?), better location (1 mile apart in Kihei?) and waived the second cleaning fee (?!!). When my husband pointed out that we paid to stay in a newly remodeled unit and the one they moved us into was a second floor unit with a broken elevator and original everything from the 80's, we were curtly told it had nicer facilities, 7 year old carpet and 6 month old paint and a new refrigerator and stove ??? Well, the pool was nicer but really, was that supposed to be a comfort to us? When you scrape and save and plan a 10 day trip with your family and all these things happen it is a bummer. Not the end of the world. We figured with all the texting and calling and emailing and cold baths for our daughter and moving, we lost at least a day. Maybe that won't happen to you. Maybe you will go to Maui and the owner will have hired an electrician to be sure everything is safe, and nothing will go wrong and you won't even know who your property management company is. Maybe.

Aloha, We received your text on September 13th, 4 days into your stay. At that time, shared with you an issue we had once before. Since you were 4 days into your stay with no call, we had hoped it resolved itself. Included is the text after our conversation. "Bottom line, we are good here! Call or txt if you want more detail on my txt. Or of you want to stop by and see what I'm talking about, that's fine too" We fully understood you did not want the removal of cabinets during your stay to correct the breaker situation, with a baby. You mentioned you were fine staying in the condo even though the breaker issue and would reset when needed. At that time there were condo options offered to move you over to. At that time you choose NOT to take ANY options for moving. Then when the owners hot water heater next door busted and water came into the condo, it was mandatory to move you. The floor required to be dried out. There were NO extra charges moving into the alternate condo, even though it was $140/nightly. We were able to keep the current rate of $95/nightly that Maui Vista was confirmed at. We even personally assisted moving your items for you, copy of your email below. "Hello, This is ----- ------ and ---- --------from Maui Vista 2319. We are wondering how you are planning to compensate us for all of the happenings over there. Needless to say this vacation is not going as planned. We have lost a considerable amount of time between our lack of hot water and the hot water from the neighbor's unit coming through the wall! Fiona has been great, even helping move some of our stuff. We have been happy so far with the service we have received from Paradise Vacations, and we are hoping that continues. Regards," The Maui Banyan is across from Kamaole Beach Park II, more desirable location. Elevators were down for maintenance, NOT Broken. Valet was provided for assistance with luggage. So to receive such a negative review was such a shock. We addressed you quickly, you choose to stay in the Maui Vista condo with breaker issue and resetting as needed, accepted gift card for wonderful dining Cafe O'Lei and we personally assisted with the required move. You were ok with the breaker situation till a move was required. Breaker issue has been resolved and wood flooring dried out in this owners beautifully updated condo. Mahalo

Dated property and condo

This was our fifth trip to Maui. The condo’s furnishing are very dated, dishwasher and washing machine are very loud to the extent that you have to turn up the tv volume to hear your program. The swimming pool is quite a distance from this condo and is also dated. Overall, the condo and property is dated and we will not stay again.
