SUMMARY

Casa Acoma is perfectly placed in the majestic town of Tesuque, just eight miles north of Downtown Santa Fe, and right across the road from the award-winning Four Seasons Rancho Encantado hotel, spa, bar, and restaurant. This home is at the end of the road with no through traffic, and the highest elevation in the Pubelo Encantado community. You couldn’t ask for a better location for a quiet, immersive and scenic getaway.



LIVING AREA

Acoma is adorned with lovely Santa Fe style accents, with wood beam ceilings and a lovingly decorated living space centered around an enchanting fireplace.

The fully-equipped kitchen and dining area are elevated above the living room, and offer a fantastic space for your group to socialize, cook, and dine at home.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, an entrance to the home’s expansive patio, an en-suite bath, and a romantic kiva fireplace.

The second bedroom also has a king bed and a private bathroom located in the hallway just outside the bedroom door.

The patio features ample outdoor furniture, and a breathtaking and expansive view of the Jemez mountains.

PLEASE NOTE:

-This home has a newly upgraded 200mbps internet connection that is fantastic for working from home!

- The second bedroom with a king bed can be split into two singles if you prefer. You must let us know your preference at least a week in advance.

- The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th

- The fireplace in the primary bedroom is decorative only, and cannot be used

- The community pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day

- Two Casitas is trained in COVID-safe practices, and is New Mexico Safe Certified

- This home is NOT pet-friendly. The homeowners monitor the home with exterior cameras, and our cleaning staff reports pet hair to us after each checkout. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $1,000 fee.

- All-wheel or four-wheel drive is recommended when renting this home in the winter months.

The property is clean yet outdated and needs some TLC. Great location with an excellent view. Several scorpions showed up uninvited in the bathrooms, and management was quick to respond. Two Castitas was prompt and cordial in all our dealings with them.

Great weekend!

I stayed here with my husband & 2 kids (ages 4&7). Property was great and cozy. The kids enjoyed playing on the large porch & the yard. The house had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, fireplace was easy to use and firewood available, too. The drive into Santa Fe was 15 mins. Communication with the host was easy. Check out process was a breeze- all you have to do is lock the door. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone else.

Perfect retreat!

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at this home. The location was quiet and peaceful and perfect for nice walks. We were close to the opera and some great restaurants. The property management company, Two Casitas, was outstanding. The beat we have ever workes with!

Great location

This was a wonderful experience. The welcome gift of wine and goodies was an unexpected surprise and so appreciated! The house was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We will look for this place again when we return.

Spring Break

We loved our stay at this property! I have stayed at many locations and I have not had one as easy as this. They provided communication prior to our arrival of what to expect and the small extras upon arrival were so sweet and appreciated. There was local coffee, local sweets, and local chips and salsa. They even provided chapstick for that cold wind. We had trouble with our battery on our vehicle and when I messaged they came right over and provided a jump! So above and beyond! The property was beautiful and us and our teens enjoyed our stay so much! Checkout was so easy too! We can’t say enough good things about this stay!

Secluded, Peaceful and Close To Santa Fe

Our family has enjoyed the stunning views, quiet location, and charming architecture of Pueblo Encantado for many years. This particular casita, Acoma or 209 Pueblo de Cielo, has a premier site and lovely decor. The artwork is a treat, as well. The kitchen is fully equipped, the wifi and cell phone reception are excellent, and there are three televisions. We highly recommend this casita and look forward to returning many times in the future.

Great location, great view, great layout.

We, have been coming to Acoma for many years, and consider it our "home away from home". It is the best unit at Pueblo Encantando (we have stayed at others) - most private & best view. HOWEVER, we wish that it would be updated. The chairs and couch in the living room are not comfortable - they need new cushions at a minimum. A few minor repairs would also go a long way to enhancing the experience - poorly fitting front door, the master bathroom door must be held open by a rock, etc. Maybe replace the 1980's posters. Notwithstanding these observations, we will always come back!!

High desert beauty

What a lovely desert hideaway this condo is! We were welcomed to Acoma 209 with a gift of wine, chips and salsa and bottled water awaiting us on the entryway table. Charming southwestern decor and fully appointed with all that we need for our stay, including loads of firewood for the chilly fall evenings. The quiet and tranquil high desert setting is simply breathtaking. As I write this, I’m sitting on one of the two patios, warmed by the sun and comfy, even though it’s 46 degrees out. Two Casitas has been so easy to work with, sending clear info on the check-in process and lots of helpful info on the property. The property is in good shape- we found the upstairs bed to be more comfortable and are staying in that room. We are a quick drive to the heart of Santa Fe but are loving the idyllic setting just out of town. If and when we visit again, this is be where we stay- highly

Great location...

My husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary at this nice home. We arrived around 6 pm... easy check in. There were a couple of items that needed attention and I contacted the manager. Before 8 am the next day the items were taken care of! The location is great if you want to be away from it all and have peace and quiet, but close enough to town to do what you want. Due to Covid, the town was pretty much vacant but we went to hike and bike so that wasn't a problem for us. We found many opportunities for hiking and biking all within 15 to 30 minutes. The unit is nice, a little dated but clean. I would suggest improving the door and locks as they weren't very secure, but we had no problems and felt safe. In our opinion, this condo had the best location and views, with access to the Four Seasons down the road a short ways. Good space for one or two couples. Management was responsive, friendly and caring.

Beautiful views, but close to town!

The views from this condo are spectacular! Yet in spite of feeling like you are nestled up in the mountains, it’s just a short drive down 84 into town. The layout of the unit works well - there are views from absolutely every room. The things I would change is that the bathrooms are rather small and there’s evidence of a lot of general wear and tear. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. We ate in quite a bit and I found all of the various pots, pans, etc. that I needed. The staff of Two Casitas provided very good support and included several nice amenities such as their own brand of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There were also abundant paper supplies and a welcoming bag of chips. We only had one problem. Even with their help we never did figure out how to activate the two free movies - another amenity. That was hardly a priority though. Overall this is a great place to stay!

A True 5-Star Rental

Our stay at Acoma was great from arrival to departure. The condo was immaculately clean and stocked with lots of small necessities, plus nice arrival gifts. The property managers, Two Casitas, obviously care about their guests. The Wi-Fi was out briefly on our first morning and we called Two Casitas. They explained the problem and gave us an accurate time for re-connection from the service provider. Everything about Acoma made us feel at home during our stay. There was plenty of firewood and plenty of materials to make starting and managing the fireplace easy and enjoyable. The washer and dryer were full size and did a great job on our laundry. One of the nice things about the cleaning staff is that they used unscented products, down to the unscented laundry soap that was provided. Also, the assortment of bath necessities (lotion, soap, shampoo, etc.) in each bathroom was high quality and made with all natural ingredients. Departing on our final day was one of the nice features of our stay; we basically locked the door behind us as we left. Unlike many rentals, Two Casitas didn't ask us to do laundry, wash our dishes or even take out the trash. Of all the rentals we've stayed in, and there have been many, Acoma is at the top of the list.

Perfect for us (and great rental company)

We really loved this unit and the location, which is about 5 miles north of Santa Fe, in the hills above the village of Tesuque. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The unit is very comfortable and quite private with fabulous views from the lovely patios. ( we could see for miles. Could see the opera, etc.) The unit is nestled in a small condominium community. The two-unit condo clusters are nicely spread out with mature plantings, so you feel like you are off on your own. It does not feel like (and isn't) a condo "complex". There is a lovely pool for the small community. We were here for 6 days and went to the pool every afternoon with our kids (10 and 14). Often had it to ourselves. It was fabulous. The pool also has a ping pong table, which was fun. Our Unit was a 2br/2ba unit. The living room is very tastefully furnished and has an updated sofa. The bedroom furniture is not updated, but is simple and functional with plenty of room for clothes storage. The bathrooms are also not updated, but they are clean and functional. The kitchen is small and has an updated fridge and dishwasher. We really appreciated that the owner/property manager has left/provided high quality coffee along with other basics like coffee filters, sugar, salt and pepper, spices, foil, plastic wrap, etc. Makes such a difference to not have to buy those things for a short stay! The kitchen was fine for making breakfast, lunch and a couple of simple (basic) dinners. (It would not work as well for more serious cooking, but that was not our priority!) The unit could use a few more plates, mugs and glasses...... There are two good restaurants in the village of Tesuque: Tesuque Village Market and El Nido. We went to both several times! We have to give a special shout out to the property managers. The Two Casitas team was really great. From providing confirmations and check-in information, to immediately providing a new coffee maker when we found that ours was broken, they were fantastic. They also leave guests with a bottle of wine, along with tortilla chips and local salsa. We would absolutely look to rent either this property or another one that is run by them. The only thing we would suggest is that it would be nice to have two keys for the unit.

Beautiful property and friendly staff to assist with any requests. We have a wonderful time !

Very good communication regarding property logistics and very good communication through out the visit. Could use a guide to help with tv remotes! Hope to visit again!

Great place to stay!

This property is exactly described in the listing. A wonderful location and very clean home. Great communication prior to arrival and no issues at all once we got there. I will definitely stay here again! Thanks!
