Relax at the beach

I really enjoyed my stay at this property that is right on the beach. I don't like crowds and I was able to read, relax and enjoy the beach. It was in a very nice area, clean and included all essentials. I will book this location again.

Everything was terrific. I would suggest a better couch. Otherwise, all else good! Liked the remote for the AC and the fan. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice and new. Will definitely book again in the future!

It was a veey nice place right o. The beach!Write up was a little off.. tv is not 65" nor is it on a tiltable bracket. Which we didnt watch much tv. And it says there are laundry on premises but does not. I feel it might be newer and was just an error on ad.But it was a beautiful studio where you can see the ocean from your bed. Watched sunrises and saw 1 turtle coming to hatch its eggs. We saw 2 dolphins and 2 stingrays! Lindsey was available to an answer all our questions.

You won’t regret it!

We had the most wonderful time. Everything was as expected when checking in. The owner was accommodating and responded promptly. The beach was almost completely empty most days. It was like our own little secluded area. You just a short drive to downtown and it’s a nice drive. The condo was clean and inviting. The back door literally leads you to the ocean. It is a beautiful view and the wildlife in the area was also spectacular. It was our own little slice of heaven for one week! The sands restaurant right down the road had the best fish dip. The restaurant at the Melby hotel had the best breakfast. Dinner I recommend Ichabod’s the one on dock side is great for dinner. Numerous night clubs and bars in the area for dancing or playing pool. We were so pleased and will definitely go back I highly recommended this little vacation spot!

The beach is not visible from the room or patio as you have to climb the stairs over the dune to see the beach. The room was nicely decorated and had most needs but the bed was the thing that lowered the rating. The mattress had so little support that with two people you both ended up rolled in to each other in the center. The frame was also wobbly and creaked when you turned over in bed. My other complaint would be the inability to block the lights from the parking area. We had to balance pillows up on the windows as the blinds didn't block the bright lights. We left a day early because of the bed.

To clarify for future guests, our listing notes that beach access is via the dune crossover stairs, which are required to preserve the natural dune system. The ocean and beach are visible from the room, though views can vary slightly by season and tide levels. We’re sorry to hear the bed wasn’t comfortable for you. This is the first we’ve heard of this concern, and we always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can address issues or explore alternatives in real time. We’re actively reviewing this feedback. Thank you as well for the note regarding the exterior lights. They are on briefly in the evenings for guest safety and automatically turn off around 9:30 p.m., but we agree that better light-blocking is important and are looking into adding curtains to improve comfort. We appreciate the input and wish you the best in your future travels.
