Location, location, location!!

This private fenced in single family home on Boca Grande has an in ground pool and is steps from the beach, 2 lighted tennis courts, town and a ball field. The home is adjacent to a nature preserve and has 3 bedrooms, 3 full newly renovated bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with eat in dining, office with daybed, living room, screened lanai, laundry room and family room with large flat screen TV. The entire home has been repainted and completely renovated inside. The pool has been completely resurfaced with new tile and a Pebbletec finish. We have recently added a new outdoor ping pong table.

The nicest part about your visit to our home on Boca Grande is that you simply come as you are. Towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, tennis rackets all make your packing worry-free!

The perfect Boca Grande escape

Great time had by all at this property! The house was perfect, and kitchen had everything you could need! Location, location, location ... close to town, beaches and tennis courts! Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful experience at a beautiful beach home!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It is conveniently located in Boca Grande near downtown, the beach, and all other amenities. The pool is inviting and well maintained! While we did not need the golf cart or bikes (that you can rent), the home has literally everything that you need for a wonderful vacation. The owners are kind and responsive. Well loved and maintained property.

Perfect in Every Way

This house was wonderful! A home away from home. All the amenities one would need as well as the perfect location. You can walk or bike to the beach and town. Beds were super comfy. Entertainment space is great for big crowds. We spent hours reading by the pool and then we walked to the beach for hours of spike ball fun. I only wish we would have used the kayaks. I guess we will just have to come back! If you are looking for a great house with all you need in the perfect spot, then look no further. Lela from NC

RUN AWAY!

RUN AWAY! We flew to Florida for our month-long February rental. Arriving at the house, the entire backyard and pool were under-construction. Construction saw-horses, Home Depot buckets, title cutting saws, cut and scrap tile strewn across the pool area, and a very uncompleted pool, we’re quite shocking to see. When immediately calling the owner and sending him pictures, he indicated that the area did not look as bad as when he had last seen it — except he had seen it just the evening before — so that didn’t make any sense. It was clear he believed we would keep the rental regardless of the condition given we had planned for visitors over the month rental period. Instead, we canceled the contract on this unlivable house. He did not object — realizing the construction pictures spoke for themselves. Instead, we spent a week touring Florida, then returned home. There are plenty of VRBO homes to rent. This should not be one of them. While in quaint Boca Grande, the home will be an eye sore in-person even after the backyard renovations are completed. The home spoils the VRBO brand. The owners are not trustworthy. (If a representative from VRBO would like to see the pictures, I’m willing to send them. To ensure authenticity, they were taken on a iPhone and the meta data has the GPS coordinates).

Every year we are constantly spending a lot of money improving our home inside and out. This year we focused on the backyard and pool area. We lined up a major renovation with a landscape crew from Massachusetts who came down to Boca Grande to replace our wooden deck in the backyard and to install a new pool deck. We also added an irrigation system and new sod grass in the backyard. The contractor knew we had renters starting February 1st and reassured us over and over that it would be ready for them. Unfortunately issues came up with supply chain issues, Covid, etc. that we could not control and the project was not completed on time. It ran 1 week over. We apologized to our monthly renters and refunded them 100% immediately. We got a weekly renter one week later in February and have had several other weekly renters in March and all of them continue to give our home the 5 star reviews the property deserves. Our home in Boca Grande is our second home, not a rental property, and we treat it is such. We have been renting it to a select group of great people for 12 years and we are pretty responsive and easy to work with. Our history of reviews speak for themselves.

Cozy beach house in a perfect location

We had a wonderful week at 261 Wheeler! From the grandparents to the elementary-aged kids, everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. House was clean, with plenty of extra bedding and pillows. Access to laundry was appreciated with all of the sand and sweat that comes with a FL beach vacation. The upstairs screened-in deck was the perfect place for coffee every morning and we loved having such a big yard and pool for games. Proximity to town is perfect- a quick golf cart ride or walk to the Inn, restaurants, and shops. Thank you Gary and Christie for sharing your home with us!

An amazing stay at Boca Grande!!

We had an incredible week at this beautiful house! The house, pool and location exceeded our expectations!! The host was very gracious and even gave us great restaurant recommendations. We all agree that this trip was one of our favorites! Boca Grande is truly old Florida at its finest!!

Island Gem

I almost don’t want to give a good review because I’d like to keep this fabulous place a secret! We had a wonderful time with our family. Home was clean, well stocked, decorated. Private pool was wonderful. Quiet street. Short walk to beach. Close To town for kids to buzz in for ice cream on their golf carts. This property is definitely saved in my favorites. Highly recommend!

Winter break

We had a wonderful time. Felt like home the minute we walked in. So inviting, we’ll maintained and everything we needed was there. We rented their golf cart and their bikes to get around for the short trip to town. Great location to the best part of the beach with bathroom facilities. Pickle ball courts are a very short walk. Kids loved the heated, lighted pool for evening swims. We would love to stay there again. Thank you.

Great location and wonderful island experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house is in a great location. It’s close to the beach, light house, and just a short golf cart ride to the little town of Boca Grande. We rented the golf cart and the bikes from the owners and the kids really enjoyed riding the bikes and the golf cart around the island. The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. There are several great restaurants on the island that we were able to ride the golf cart to at night. We really enjoyed the whole island experience.

Great place! Very clean and close to the beach!

It worked out very well for our family of six! The house is right by the light house and literally a four minute walk from the house to the beach and only 1/2 mile to town. Had a great time, with everything there at the house you could need. No problems and hosts were very prompt and helpful.

Perfect relaxation

We were stressed from work when we got to the house. The home was very welcoming and we started to relax and enjoy the pool. Easy access to the beach and a short golf cart ride to down town and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable!

Beautiful home, great location, owner made it easy

Our family of four had a great experience with this owner and their home was fantastic. It was set up for the perfect outdoor and beach vacation. The amenities available (beach chairs, towels, tennis rackets, etc) made it so easy! We rented their golf cart and bikes as well and that was huge benefit to have all of those right there at the home. We were so close to town with great shopping and food and the beach was right down the street. Easy, fun and relaxing is how I would describe our experience. The owner was very easy to communicate with and responsive if I had any questions. Great find in Boca Grande! The online pictures are 100% accurate. House is adorable with a great beachy vibe. Indoor and Outdoor space is set up for relaxing and fun.

Amazing!!!

Renting this house was smooth and beyond easy. The owners were fantastic and helped with everything from where stuff was in the house, to dining, and even offered to find us a baby sitter if we needed! The house was gorgeous and the island is amazing. So glad we went on this vacation!

Wonderful beach house.

My husband I had a great vacation at Golden Beach house. The house is well decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed many things about this property..... The house has a screen porch that we relaxed nightly in and a beautiful and private backyard with a sparkling clean pool. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the town and beach. We were able to stroll to town for dinners out. The beach is one block away. While we had no issues during our stay, communications with Owners Christie and Gary were easy and prompt. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Great family friendly house a block from beach and less than a mile from town and South Beach. As advertised with nice pool and porch. Owners were great communicators and would recommend.

The home is private and comfortable. It is nice to sit in the lanai after a day on the beach sipping a glass of wine or margarita. If tennis is your game, 2 lighted tennis courts are at the end of our street and after your match you can jump in the pool or walk to the beach to cool off.
