Private Cottage in Nature's Paradise

Charming magical cottage on 1.25 acres surrounded by 22 varieties of tropical fruit trees (70 fruit trees total), flowering trees, bushes, orchids and organic vegetable garden in the midst of one of Naples most desirable communities of Pine Ridge Estates. This nature retreat is minutes from the beach, The Mercato, Waterside Shops, Whole Foods Market, The Naples Philharmonic and Museum of Art and other area attractions.

The neighborhood is a walkers'/bikers' haven. Everything is close by, yet you have complete privacy in a totally fenced and gated lot. It feels like you are out in the country even though you are in the center of things. Enjoy relaxation, pleasant walks around the neighborhood, bird watching, bike rides to the beach, stunning sunsets and complete tranquility.

The cottage is eco friendly - freshly painted with no VOC paint, organic mattress, sheets and towels - only environmentally friendly products are used in the house and on the property.

The owner lives on the property and is available to guide you to the many activities the area has to offer such as kayaking, guided bird watching excursions, boating, fishing, yoga studios, cross fit gyms, visits to the numerous nature preserves etc. The owner is also very knowledgeable about organic gardening and exotic tropical fruits and will gladly introduce you to delicious tropical treats and breakfast fruit smoothies made from ripened fruits picked right on the property.

Naples Vacation

This is a quiet spot with beautiful grounds ,our host Marianne was hospitable and supplied bikes,lawn chairs and other beach things .would five star recommend.

Simply Perfect!

This little cottage and the property are magical and the hostess was amazing. It was a great place to relax and unwind and yet the location offered everything you could want or need -- restaurants, the beach, shopping. Will definitely be returning to this little slice of paradise.

Excellent property and Landlord!

We enjoyed our one month rental in this adorable cottage among a lush private yard filled with plants, flowers and shrubs. Our Landlord went over and beyond to tend to all our needs and our dogs, from vases of flowers to dog bones, use of her pool, bikes, grill and beach chairs! We would recommend this place to anyone!

As wonderful as the pictures showed!

This adorable cottage and beautiful setting was a perfect place for our extended stay in Naples. As so many reviews have shown, Marianne is a wonderful host, very responsive to any want or need as well as supporting us during our stay with details about getting around the area and offering suggestions for things to see and do. Our favorite part of our stay was certainly the outdoor space; the patio offered privacy and comfort day and night for reading, eating, and watching the adorable little bunnies who visited frequently. We couldn't get enough of it! We also loved having access to the pool when the afternoon heat prompted us to want to take a dip and relax poolside. Memories of our five-star vacation at Pine Ridge will last forever!

Quaint private cottage

Quaint cottage with gorgeous private yard, lovely flowers everywhere and shaded porch. Easy bike ride to beach! Near restaurants and shopping. Excellent stay!

Paradise

I’m not sure I can add anything to previous reviews. The property and the amenities are exactly as described. The area is amazingly beautiful and it’s location is ideal. We were near beaches (we preferred Clam Pass Beach) and shopping, but our area was very private and quiet. Our hostess was most accommodating and helpful. You really can’t go wrong staying here.

We had such a great week! Property and cottage are beautiful!

It was just me and my 15 year old daughter. Cottage has everything you could possibly need and owner is so kind, thoughtful, and available if needed. We stayed during a tropical storm and we had so much fun being secluded in a paradise setting!

A beautiful moment in time

I cannot accurately express how much we loved our time staying on this property. My Girlfriend and our two dogs spent 3 weeks here, and it passed in a blink of an eye. The property is incredible--a true tropical paradise with so many different types of fruit trees including mangos, lychees and bananas. The garden is amazingly cared after, and is a delight to walk through and explore. I really enjoyed sitting under the pagoda in the evening, and watching the dogs play while sipping on cocktails I made using fresh fruit from the garden. The property is located in a neighborhood filled with multi-million dollar mansions, many of which are really spectacular. so if you enjoy walking around and seeing amazing houses, this is a definite plus. Our dogs absolutely loved the property as well and had great adventures chasing the many bunnies that roam the grounds. When they got too hot, they would pop into the swimming pool to refresh themselves before continuing the chase. As for Marianne, she is an absolute gem. So welcoming, friendly, considerate, generous and so helpful. We really got along well and she loved the dogs too. We miss the property and Marianne. We will definitely be back!

Cottage in a Subtropical Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It is exactly as described in the listing and the 5-star reviews are spot on! Marianne is a thoughtful and gracious host and makes sure you have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We brought our dog along, and Marianne went out of her way to make the dog feel as welcome as us. When we arrived, there was a welcome balloon, soft music playing inside, a candle burning, chocolate pudding fruit and mangos (delicious, by the way!), two bowls and some treats out for our dog, Zadie. All so appreciated after a long drive! The yard is just spectacular (Marianne is an amazing gardener!) and you can spend much time wandering around the paths, admiring the fruiting trees, flowers, and beautiful foliage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, very clean, and has everything you need. The deck is a lovely spot for drinks and meals, surrounded by tropical trees and blooming flowers. The two weeks we spent at Marianne's cottage were just what we needed!

Absolutely breathtaking!

The property was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Every detail was perfect from the gorgeous grounds to the very well stocked cottage. The owner was a delight as well. She made sure I had everything that I needed. I would give this a 5 star review.... I will most definitely be back.

Outstanding cottage in South Florida

This cottage in Naples, Florida is a beautifully furnished, conveniently located place from which to experience many splendid subtropical wonders. The living space is a wonderful place to spend time in or come home to. The kitchen is very well equipped. After fishing in the Gulf surrounded by pelicans and dolphins, we baked fresh seafood and dined on the beautiful patio among palms, orchids and papaya. Marianne’s cottage will remain in my memory as a subtropical dream!

Great Place to stay

I leased this property from June 10 to August 10 for my son who had an internship in Naples. My wife went with him for the first week to help get moved in. The property was exactly as advertised. Marianne was there from beginning to end and helping in any way. A great place to stay if you're ever in Naples or the area.

Perfect cottage, perfect host

Das Haus ist sooooo schön in diesem traumhaften Garten und Marianne die beste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Besser geht es einfach nicht. Best vacation ever!!

This was our first time in Naples, Florida. We stayed a month in this comfortable and quiet cottage that truly is in nature's Paradise! Beautiful palms, fruit trees and flowers galore on this large property!! Great wi-fi and lots of cable channels. Washer and dryer was especially convenient and necessary. Good bicycles in the shed. The cottage is situated in a great location close to the beach with multiple excellent shopping malls throughout the city. So much to see and do.....from museums, botannical gardens, city tours, sunset tours, shelling tours, and fishing expeditions. Marianne, the owner, lives closeby and was always available to answer our questions, as well as providing us with a beach umbrella and sun shelter. We can't stop talking about our vacation and hope to return next year. We will definitely recommend this cottage to all our family and friends.

Paradise in Naples

Mariannes cute, cozy, warm, inviting, very very clean, well stocked cottage was nothing less than exceptional. Truly a tropical paradise. Morning coffee on the peaceful deck with the birds chirping was heavenly. I ditto the previous 5-star reviews, I could go on and on and write a book on this property and this beautiful stay of ours. If I could give Mariannes cottage 10-stars, I would. Anything you needed Marianne was always available and very gracious. Myself being someone who loves to decorate, Mariannes cottage was decorated with some of my personal favorites; West Elm, Anthropologie, Bose, Williams Sonoma, Nespresso Machine and other high end kitchen appliances. We loved every minute only wish it could have been longer. We would definitely stay again. One other thing, I would like to thank Marianne for the beautiful welcome when we arrived from the welcome balloon to the soft music and the beautiful scent of the candle she had burning to the beautiful bouquet of flowers. Marianne was the perfect host in this little piece of paradise.

Nature Lover’s paradise

Places like this are why we don’t stay in hotels. The home is bright with lots of natural light and windows, a kitchen that is stocked with everything including an espresso machine, a super comfortable bed, and a nice size deck to hang out on. It is in a neighborhood of gorgeous homes on a private, secluded lot. The grounds are landscaped with flowers and lush vegetation all around. It felt like we were staying in a botanical gardens. The owner is very attentive without being intrusive and she gave us many restaurant recommendations and also let us use her parking sticker for the beach. The location is close to lots of shopping but we came to explore the natural areas. Ding Darling Refuge on Sanibel Island, Marco Island, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and the Everglades are all only an hour’s drive away. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Quiet cottage yet close to everything!

It’s rare to actually live in a beautiful story book cottage in the middle of a city. But that’s exactly what this felt like. The cottage itself was lovely, very private, and was nestled on lush grounds in an area of lovely homes with extra-large lots. My husband spent many an afternoon lounging on the deck, watching hummingbirds In the tropical foliage while I zipped down to Naples’ very chic and civilized shopping districts. The cottage is located just a few blocks from Whole Foods, another grocery store, and the Mercato, with shops and lots of great restuarants. It is just perfectly located. Marianne was a most accommodating host. She gave us complete privacy yet was sensitive to our needs, even before we realized we needed anything! Just an absolutely lovely stay for us. Thank you Marianne!

Charming Cottage

How do I begin to convey how much we enjoyed our stay at Marianne's cottage? As a gardener myself, I know how much work goes into designing and maintaining a garden. I simply loved Marianne's creation of a beautiful nature retreat. Beauty surrounded the cottage. I especially enjoyed how the cottage seemed to be embraced by nature. You could sit or stand anywhere in the cottage and look out the windows and see beautiful foliage, flowers and landscaping. The cottage was filled with light. Marianne was a gracious hostess and very attentive to our every need. She even drove us to the beach one day when there weren't any more parking spaces available at the beach. We greatly appreciated being able to use her bikes, a beach umbrella, beach chairs and a cooler. This made our daily trips to the beach very enjoyable!! The smoothies that she made us were excellent. Learning about chocolate pudding fruit was very tasty and fun! Her hostess skills are impeccable everything from having a welcoming balloon, fresh flowers throughout the cottage, soft music playing upon our arrival, a bottle of wine, a kitchen stocked with everything that you would need plus a Nespresso to being receptive to questions about the Naples area. We have used many VRBO units throughout the past three years, but we have never experienced a thoughtful hostess until we stayed at Marianne's cottage. We also greatly appreciated her flexible check in and check out times. At the risk of writing a short novel, I will stop. Needless, to say we are greatly anticipating a return visit.
