Excellent Property Near Convention Center

I stayed at this property on a business trip as an alternative to staying in a hotel while attending a conference in Tampa. This property allowed my team a great atmosphere to collaborate during the week. The property was super clean and beautifully decorated and it created a very relaxing atmosphere for my collogues and I. We really enjoyed drinking our coffee in the courtyard in the mornings, the courtyard was covered with a canopy of large trees and it was so quiet and peaceful. We equally enjoyed hanging out around the pool during the evenings while we enjoyed our glass of wine (or two). The property was very close to the convention center so it made it convenient to attend our conference without having to fight the morning rush hour traffic, I think our average commute time was under 5 minutes. We will definitely stay at this property again if there is another conference in Tampa! Bravo!

House did not exceed our expectations for rental price

I rented this home for my family (children and grandchildren) for a week at Christmas 2016 - our annual get together. The home is spacious and well-located and the owner is very pleasant. However, the reality of the house does not match the description and the photos don't tell the whole story. In truth, the house is need of an upgrade - both physically and accoutrements-wise. The house is a bit run down. The yard was scruffy. There were cracked tiles at the pool. Various aspects of the house weren't fully functional - one bathroom couldn't get hot water in the shower and another had no hot water in the sink. The hot tub needed servicing, which came during our stay. Although the owner responded to several of our concerns (lack of pillows, towels, linens, blankets, extension cords, lamps), at this price, it shouldn't have been this way. No DVD remote for the main TV. Master bedroom had no TV. Exposed wiring (dangerous). Calling this a "totally renovated estate" or touting the notion that "this Mediterranean Revival Style compound property will exceed your expectations" was not true for us. I'm sad to say I cannot recommend this property at this price.

Exceptional Property and Location

This property located on Davis Island in Tampa hosted our party of 10. Martha, the host, was very accommodating and available for any questions/ideas about the area. The property was perfect for entertaining. We will definitely rent again when in Tampa! Thanks Martha We traveled to Tampa on business and needed a place for our whole team to stay (10 people). This property worked out very well. The house is beautiful and well kept. Martha is very easy to work with and extremely helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.

Beautiful House and great incredibly accommodating home owner. Martha was a pleasure to deal with and was an endless source of help and advice both at the house and for our time in Tampa. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Beautiful Home

We rented this beautiful Davis Island home for my wedding weekend. My entire immediately family stayed there and we used the property for all festivities leading up to my ceremony. It was an excellent space for my bridal party and myself to get ready in on the morning of my wedding. The home gave us a beautiful backdrop for some pre-festivity pictures. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. Martha, the home owner, was very flexible and welcomed us in her home with open arms. She even let us use the condiments and items that were in the fridge and around the house. It came stocked with clean towels and sheets for everyone. The only downfall was that the air conditioner in the upstairs of the Guest House was broken for a majority of our stay. This gave us one less King size bedroom and full bathroom to utilize. It was 80 degrees a majority of the weekend we stayed at the property and with no air conditioner, the space was not at all comfortable. Martha made an attempt to fix it, but the quick fix only lasted a couple of hours. Other than that, the space and all of its amenities were wonderful and the house was located in a perfect central part of Tampa.

Visit from over seas

Beautiful, clean, well kept home on an adorable island located minutes from Downtown, Channelside, The St Pete Time Forum, restaurants, shops and the cruise port. We have children and felt very safe. This is an ideal home to chose for a family vacation! We will definitely be back!
