Welcome to 'Whileaway!'
This beautiful, brand-new construction WaterColor home is the perfect place for your next vacation!
Situated on a beautiful neighborhood park, with 3500 sq ft of heated/cooled living space, and an additional 750 sq ft of covered & outdoor living space!
As you walk inside, you'll immediately be greeted by the gorgeous dining room, with space for 8 at the table! There is also extra storage and cozy window benches in the dining area overlooking the park. This home's open-concept layout means that this area flows seamlessly into the kitchen and living room spaces.
The gourmet kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances (including a Thermador 6 burner gas range), designer cabinets, and countertops, with space for 4 at the island. Just off the kitchen is a mini dry bar area, with an ice maker, wine cooler, and ample storage space. The living room features a cozy gas fireplace with a remote control, as well as an 18-foot sliding glass wall for easy access to the pool and outdoor dining area.
The backyard is the perfect place to relax, featuring a private heated saltwater swimming pool with built-in bench seating, BBQ grill, outdoor shower, outdoor TV, outdoor dining table, and comfy couch seating with a fireplace (wood burning with gas starter)! There are also built-in Sonos/Airplay speakers!
The home is also stocked with adult and children's books/games for endless entertainment!
Also located on the first floor is the first of two laundry rooms, a full bathroom right by the pool, a King bedroom with a private en-suite bathroom with dual vanities and a glass shower, and another half bathroom for guests.
Traveling up to the second floor, you'll find a secondary living area/ media room with a dry bar and wine fridge, furnished with a Queen-sized sleeper sofa, the second laundry room, plus 4 additional bedrooms (and a secret room!). There are 2 King bedrooms on this floor, one master, and each with a private en-suite bathroom. The master bathroom is a spa-like retreat with a huge glass shower and a separate soaking tub. Both the Living/Media Room and Master Bedroom have vaulted ceilings.
The next bedroom has 2 Twin beds, a private en-suite bathroom with a glass shower, and a secret reading room with a hidden door, a feature children will love! Finally, the last bedroom has 2 sets of built-in Twin XL-over-Twin XL bunk beds, with tons of storage, and a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
Don't forget to take the LSV and bikes around to explore the area!

This house comes with a maximum of 14 wristbands, which per the WaterColor HOA limits the number we accommodate even if there are sleeping arrangements in the home for more. Children under 5 are not required to wear a wristband so are not included in this number.

Guest access
The WaterColor community is the most desirable community on 30A due to its exceptional community amenities. Guests will have inclusive access to the gulf-front WaterColor Beach Club and new Camp WaterColor facilities, in addition to 7 other beautiful swimming pools located throughout the community, the closest of which is the wonderful (and quiet) Frog Pond Pool and park!
The Beach Club is just across the bridge (3 minute bike ride), making this home a dream to not have to worry about parking since it is an easy walk or even quicker bike ride! Camp WaterColor is about a 3-minute LSV ride. The highly exclusive and stunning Lake District location of this home cannot be beat! These are large estate-style homes with a quiet, neighborhood feel - great for kids to play and ride bikes tucked away from busy roads with no through traffic!
The WaterColor Beach Club features a huge main pool and lounge area, an 'adults only' pool, additional pool deck with even more lounge seating, and third pool area with zero-entry (perfect for even the littlest kids!). It also has dining service available, and a sunset bar, Costa Chica. All of these amenities have beautiful views of the Gulf!
Camp WaterColor is geared towards kids and has its main butterfly pool with monarch slide for older kids, caterpillar pool (zero-entry + children's area with skipper slide for littler kids), lazy lizard pool (zero-entry + lazy river), lifeguards on duty, The Canteen restaurant + bar, basketball court, playing field, and playground.
Other things to note -Beach chairs through WaterColor Beach Club should be reserved in advance. -In order to receive the proper number of amenity wristbands, you must enter the total number of people in your group upon booking. Please bear in mind that the HOA will not be able to provide additional wristbands once you are here. Finally, the WaterColor HOA will charge $50 per wristband to replace any that are lost. Watercolor requires guest contact information for Watercolor wristband registration. -Please note we provide a starter set of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher + laundry pods for your stay. -Check in is 4:00 PM & check out is 10:00 AM. These times are strict and late check out may be subject to another day's rental fees. -Smoking is strictly prohibited. -Pool heating must be for the full duration of your stay and must be requested 48 hours prior to check in and paid before the heater will be turned on. Pool heating cost is $50/night of your reservation and is available from October 1 - April 30. -All renters must be over 25 years of age, or if under age 25 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.. -LSV is not to be driven past the town of Seagrove to the East or the town of Grayton Beach to the West. Resolving any issue from the LSV battery dying because of the renters not charging it will be charged to the renters. -Damages that occur will be collected from the renters. -Southern Holiday Homes can not be held liable for any damage or injury to any persons caused by LSV, bikes or other amenities provided to guests.

We absolutely loved the house and our stay. The only thing we would change is the timing of the heated pool. At first it heated so late the kids couldn’t use it. It was changed and warm during the day but in the evening it was very cold. Other than that we would stay at this house again. Very nice!

Gorgeous house!
Everything in this house is perfect! It is beautifully decorated and brand new. Has all the amenities you need and a very snazzy golf cart. The pool was a nice temperature even when it was cool out and it was fun for the kids to swim first thing in the morning. The neighborhood/street is very pretty. Management was super helpful. And, my daughter and her cousin were dazzled by the secret room in their bedroom!

Family Vacation
Parking anywhere in WaterColor is a nightmare. If you own a full size vehicle maneuvering is very difficult at this property. The beach parking for a vehicle or golfcart is extremely difficult. The pool is very small at the residence, one of the shower heads in a bathroom kept falling off while showering, as well as a dysfunctional remote for one of the TV's. Property management did send someone to fix the shower head but the room was being occupied and it wasn't a convenient time. We just stopped using that shower. We also killed a roach, property management did say they called for pest control. This property is expensive, everything on the property should be double checked prior to any check ins arriving. These issues were preventable. The house is very nice and comfortable.

It does sound like many of the challenges you encountered were related to the Watercolor community and its HOA policies, such as parking limitations and beach access rules. Unfortunately, those are outside of our control, but we always try to be transparent by listing the allotted number of parking spaces for each property in advance so guests can plan accordingly. Any additional parking needs are managed by the HOA, not by us.
Regarding the maintenance items you mentioned, we did send someone out promptly to address the shower head during your stay. We’ve since resolved that issue and checked all fixtures again to ensure they’re secure. The TV remote has also been replaced.
As for the pest concern, all of our homes are on a regular quarterly pest control service, and we immediately dispatched our provider when you alerted us. In Florida, especially during certain seasons, it is not uncommon for a palmetto bug to occasionally make its way indoors despite preventative measures!
We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the comfort of the home overall. Our team will continue working hard to ensure every stay is as seamless as possible.
